It's like trying to write with your fingertips instead of using a pen or a sharp pencil. I think the focus should be on the 3d visualisation while still using appropriate tools for the interaction.
I could also imagine it getting quite exhausting waiving your hand around in mid air, instead of resting it comfortably on a desk while using a mouse. VR would make a better use case for hand gesturing because it feels more natural to real life... But then again you'd still have to worry about fatigue, so I think working with both traditional computers and in VR would be the best situation

@@johnsonjeff3930 Are you new to youtube? Relax man!
Amazing. This is from 6 years ago I can't imagine where they are today.
they are at the same place. because the idea was dumb. engineers learned to work a certain way (the 3d mouse already existed for decades). that way is the industry standard. they're not gonna switch if the only benefit is esthetics.
It was a fun idea but useless today
@@aresgood1 it was a neat idea, and was based on the motivation of increasing productivity by making it more natural, as elon says -- make the computer work for you -- but you're right.. humans have a strange way to adapt and become productive to a variety of paradigms
and after 10 years now this is real we have apple vision pro damn! :)
and now he's flying an astronout with reuseable rockets
Next flight in august with 4 astronaut
Good. Now I want something that extracts the idea from my mind into a digital form without me needing to physically do anything.
Wow, I found my old comment and it has 14 likes! ^^
Way to go, me!
WOW, and the comment of me admiring my own comment is getting likes too?
*WHAT IS GOING ON?*
WHAT IS THIS WORLD?
Is this real life?
RedsBoneStuff You were 2 years ahead of Neuralink :O
lol elons neuralink company will do just that
this brilliant man looks many years ahead into the future than others.
Now apple used this technology in Apple Vision...Just WOW 😲
This is another little project on his spare time!!
By recommending in 2020 youtube trying to convince that Tony stark is still alive after end game.
Elon has good taste in mice, Logitech MX518 ;)
+cannnonfoddder hahaha~~ I would be terrified if he is using razer :x
yeah I used mine till it literally fell apart. I bought another one, same thing. On the second break I tried to find another one, but you can only find them on ebay, etc now.. and people want tons of money for em.. they do have a sucessor mouse (which is ALMOST as good.. but not quite.) I wish they would just re-produce the mx518.. for now im using the G400s
Razer deathadder still best mouse on market...
I'm using my MX518 since ~8 years now, and it works like the first day (:
Robin Cerny I hope the G420 will last for 8 years too :) The first mouse I bought from them sucks. Not even a year the G400 mouse cable start giving me random dcs. Exchange it for a new mouse G400s, same problem. 1 month before expiry of the warranty, managed to turn it in for a G420. Been using it for about 2 years, no dc problem yet. They strengthened the point where the mouse is joined with the cable. That part is now super thick.
I've been on TH-cam every day for YEARS and this is recommended to me TODAY!?
Anyway...this is a historic video that will be watched by generations to come.
early 1900s: YA WE MADE THESE COOL THINGS CALLED FACTORIES THAT, WITH A LOT OF PEOPLE, CAN MAKE CARS AND STUFF
early 2000s: so then you just click print..
This video: 7 years ago.
Spider-Man: Far From Home 6 years later: write that down, write that down!
Haha 😂
🤣
he is the real tony starK ⚡
പെവർ 🔥
Tony Stark is Fictional Musk actually
Recommended today after 10 years well done youtube
He had got his success after many struggle. I like it too much
2:19 “we know, you are him”
everyone: WOW this guy is a genius
me: omg is that a logitech mx518 gaming mouse?
same here LOL
Also Leap motion, Oculus Rift and 3D printers are available since then... nothing "new" and nothing created by them.
4.9M views and ......10 years ago....wow.....TH-cam finally decided to recommend it to me
right? 😅
How humbly he's explaining everything, even being a CEO ... Nd this video came 7years ago, wow 🔥
Few words... He has a very amazing vision of what the world could be
22nd century history teachers: The 21st century was built and shaped by a man named Elon Musk.
And thanks to his life extention technology let's meet the man now!
no doubt brother
Actually everyone of us builds and shapes our world. People will boost up af once they realize that.
Elon casually showing things like a TH-camr 😭
He is changing the world.Thats amazing.
He should get a raise
*He seems like a smart guy. He should make a rocket to the ISS and name it “Crew Dragon”*
I'm now seeing this technology 10 years after it was created, after 10 years.. TH-cam just recommended this for me
Imagine being able to 3d model with your thoughts using a neuralink.
holy...
It may seem neat to some but doubt in reality the negatives for some may superceded any positives
that day aint far
In coming years This man will put a car in space with a driver in it.
Elon Musk should build an Iron Man suit.
Yeah he should develop it and also use it as his space suit for space x.
Musk Industries
Who knows, he probably is.
Does he really, that would be awesome, wish I could help him develop it further into a real suit. Or work with the others that are developing a suit.
Who's to say he's not already doing just that?
What the heck, why isnt this mainstream?
This is something straight out of science fiction and he's made it a reality!! It's the same feeling I had when I watched the first succesful landing of a 1st stage Falcon 9. But really when I watched the two side boosters on the Falcon Heavy test flight land back down together, it was like the Thunderbirds! There are no words powerful enough to describe the influence for the good this man has made! I am 28 right now, and hope to be flying on Starship at some point in my life!! Maybe move to Mars to colonize it along with thousands of other people!! Thank you Elon Musk for what you do!!!
He made nothing. This is all stuff cobbled together from already existing technology back then. Stop shilling him and taking credit away from the people who actually created this technology. It's not even practical for design.
Wait..what!! This software was created seven years ago!!He's amazing.
The next step is using 3d holograms. Who is watching this on 2020?👇
He'll do it lol
Yeah
Yeah Elon Musk will never disappoint us
he prolly did it in 2014 given this video is from 2013 lol
TH-cam's recommendation algorithm is goated. Getting recommendations for TikToks or IG reels from the lockdown era literally impossible.
Safe to say that TH-camrs will definitely outlive TikTokers and IG influencers.
I want to be like Elon Musk. He's got to be one of the coolest people on this earth.
me too!!
Me too
