Hi thanks for your comment glad you enjoyed the content. Depends on your intention, budget and interest. If you’ve never ridden a bike don’t be scared it’s not that difficult once you get used to it.
Something in the 650 ranger like the tiger660/trident, Honda cb650r, Yamaha mt07, kawasaki z650 are good if you want a general all rounder capable of most things and you won’t outgrow it too soon (also depends on who you ride with and if speed is your priority).

Wonder how the maintenance is like, compared to the CB650R.

Maintenance according to triumph is cheapest in class. Maybe that’s in the western world where labour is expensive cos the intervals are really long compared to Japanese bikes. I’ve made comparisons, probably still cheaper with my Honda CB650R altho not by much.

@@RUBBERNMETAL what about parts? is it easily available compared to honda? read that parts need to wait a long time. and its more expensive compared to japanese bikes. after watching ur video, am contemplating whether to get cb650r or this, looking for an all rounder bike

@@X-cript parts should be ok as long as there’s a strong dealer around. The bike is assembled in Thailand so if you’re nearby it should be accessible.
If you want sportier and screamy get the Cb650R but if you want something more comfortable and versatile get the Tiger. Both are awesome.

I’ve been spoiled by the quickshifter on my own bike and the unfamiliarity of the clutch bite point contributed to the lack of smoothness - my excuse. But on that note yea some upskilling is required 😂
