  • Ever wanted to attend the Friday Night Street Legal drag races at The Titanium Strip Mission Raceway Park, but had no idea how things worked? Well this is the video for you! Titanium Autogroup, Roads Untraveled and I partnered up to bring you this instructional video on how to drag race at The Titanium Strip Mission Raceway Park during their Street Legal events.
We'd all love to see more of you racing down the drag strip rather than racing down the street. Hopefully once you've watched this video you'll have more than enough confidence to join us at the race track. Come on down and experience the fun at The Titanium Strip Mission Raceway Park located at 32670 Dyke Rd, Mission, BC V2V 4J5, Canada. (604) 826-6315

Since this video was released the track officials have now decided to enforce the rule that all drivers going quicker than an 11.49 now need to wear a fire jacket. I also forgot to mention that after performing your 1/4 mile run, the right of way is given to the driver in the left lane as you exit the track.
We can't wait to see you all at the next Friday Night Street Legal at The Titanium Strip Mission Raceway Park!!!

Great video. Thanks. Wish you made this video 2 weeks ago when i went to Cayuga Motorsport (Hamilton, ON) for the first time. i guess different tracks, different rules. All AWD cars were going around the water, while RWD cars were going over to warm up the tires. I wonder if it's only required for super sticky track tires... i was running street tires on my RS3. Your video was spot on. As a first timer, the one thing that i struggled with was tire pressure. I just wasn't sure how low i could/should have gone. 19in wheels 255 35 19, and i was getting lots of different opinions. 22psi, 25psi, 29psi. Eventhough i brought a pump for the drive back home, i settled on 29psi and managed OK. Maybe it should be your next video (hint hint). Thanks for the great content.

Different tracks, different rules, that's all. They used to allow us to drive around the water box, but over the years have become more strict about at least scuffing your tires before you rip down the drag strip. As for the tire pressure dilemma, that is something that most people don't realize makes such a massive impact on the performance of your vehicle. Best bet is to test them all out and see how your 60ft's do as well as your trap speed. Trap speed going down significantly usually means your tire pressures are too low. Too much spin and they might be too high.

No option to drive around the water? I know i'd want to do that in an RS3 or any 4WD performance car for that matter to optimize the launch for 60ft.

They'd prefer if you didn't. Less likelihood that you'll bring debris onto the track, seeing as a lot of drivers must park their vehicle on gravel, dirt or grass in the pits.

Thank you. RS3 is being repaired as we speak, and I'm trying to figure out what we are going to do with the B9 ASAP.
