  • Wat Chedi Temple - Join me, Mr. B, in this evocative episode of Forgotten Temples as we delve into the somber history of Wat Ched, a site tragically intertwined with the brutality of the Khmer Rouge. This video takes you on a solemn journey through the temple grounds, where over 60 monks met their tragic end. Witness the haunting remnants of this dark chapter in Cambodian history, from bullet-riddled walls to the eerie silence of a once-sacred space.
As we explore, I'll piece together the fragments of a painful past, decoding the marks history has left behind. Despite the temple's turbulent history, we'll also discover a beacon of resilience and remembrance.

Khmer Rouge was something else...turning on their own in such a ruthless
    manner.

Another horror story. My wife has shared with me her story, as well as many friends and family. Part of me wishes I never knew about this madness. Another part of me understands that talking about the tragedy is therapy. For that I am happy to listen. How any of them figured out how to smile again after those events is beyond me.
    Thank you Mr B.

My mother in-law died a few years ago and we keep her ashes at this temple. A beautiful and peaceful little place now, I had no idea of the dark history and always thought that burnt-out building must have just been an accident. I've walked through it many times... I will pay my respects next time I'm there!

It is in the Siem Reap but nowhere near the centre.

@@TheMrB Maybe a pinned location on google map link in the description would help your audiences a lot.
