It is a remarkable place, not as rundown as some of them, but still so cool

Jayavarman VII greatest accomplishment, among his many, was the 105 hospitals he had built to provide some relief to his people.

In all fairness, let's not overlook the sacrifice required of "his people" in the building of these monuments, be it Angkor Wat or Kuti Ruesi.

The "hospital" is an ancient knowledge of healing energies. Water is a necessary component to produce the positive energy.
Envy you looking at the real stuff.👍

The dichotomy of the old and new is just our perception. Some will be fond of one and hate the other. Maybe there’s beauty and ugliness in both.
In my home here in the States we have a statue of Jayavarman VII. Someone from so long ago still has sway over modern people living in modern places.
For some reason I feel very emotional watching this. Maybe I miss Cambodia. Maybe in some way it causes me to do some soul searching.
In a way you too Mr B have sway in someone so far away.
Stay well my friend. Much gratitude.

Something about this video really grabbed me and I guess it's learning about what it was like Over 700 years ago; more please.😊

I do have another two hospital videos, lined up to be released over the next few months. in fact, there is one which is absolutely staggering. But I’m not sure when that will be released. It is the video where I get bit in the head by a hornet.

Fengshui ran in the blood of those ancient khmer architects. They had a way with stones and water....

I have a very solitary animal, I always have been. Although oddly, I am rather popular amongst crowds. But truth is I like being alone, and it is fed by my imagination. The smallest of things amaze me and I seem to see what others do not see.

@@TheMrB I also appreciate the way you work your viewer's imagination. "Listen to what I say," and not relying on maps or illustrations. That takes us over the hump.
