*I like that I can "fry" something on a whim! An oil fryer takes so much more time to clean and prepare **MyBest.Kitchen** a chore which usually kept me from frying all together. Also, the lack of needing oil to fry means that my family and I are eating healthier... while still enjoying the crispiness of fried foods.*
I tried this today, turned out great ! Here are the steps I followed: # bought a couple of 200g (7 ounce) Striploin steaks # took the steaks out of the fridge 20 minutes before cooking # pre heated the my Daewoo 3.6 L Digital Air Fryer to 200C (400F) for 3 minutes # rubbed powdered black pepper & granular salt into both sides of the steaks # sprayed light coat of cooking spray (half sunflower oil / half water) onto basket of air fryer (pump action, not areosol) # put steaks in basket with fat facing the center # sprayed light coat of cooking spray on the steaks # set the air fryer to 200C (400F) for 7 minutes # fliped the steaks, sprayed them with another light coat of cooking spray # set the air fryer to 200C (400F) for another 7 minutes The steaks were cooked EXACTLY medium, they were still juicy but without any pink inside. I prefer my steak medium rare, so next time I will try it at 200C (400F) for 6 minutes each side ;)
Fastest best way to cook a steak. I been air frying my steaks for about a year. Starting my grill or pre heating oven and frying just too much work lol
I put foil in the basket. The foil catches all of the juices from the steak. When done I pour the juice over the steak. Nice and succulent. Also no clean up
Derry Shore make some gravy out that juice and mash potatoes , pop open a can of corn and one sunny side up egg on the skillet 🍳 and we are good to go.
I just cooked my first steak - a ribeye - in my new Bella air fryer, which I received as a gift. Followed the instructions here and it worked GREAT! So easy, so tender. Thank you!
The Airfryer has become our Go-To Appliance in the kitchen. The more we try different things in it, the more confident we become. We’ve come a long way from initially just thawing out frozen French fries. Thank You for your videos 😊
The air fryer has moved into the “If it breaks I’ll go right out and buy another one” category. I tried your recipe for cooking the steaks, it was quick and easy, I put a handful of Rally’s seasoned fries in the other half during the last 4-5 minutes. Yum, yum, yum, 07/27/2020
OMG I try it and it's so delicious I kept cut it before I knew it I ate a whole steak... it was so juicy thank you so much for taking out the time to show this... I'm so loving my airfryer...
Great video!.. now I can cook a steak late at night. In my air fryer. without my wife complaining that I'm cooking late at night..and making the whole house smell of smoke! 👍😊
Haha literally what I'm doing at 4am ... When the whole house is alseep , whole my mouth is watering thinking about this wonderful steak I'm about to enjoy... Glad I'm not the only one 🤣
On other sides they say not to use cooking spray, that it can ruin coating of your fryer. Use just regular sprayer. Your recipe I will try today. Thank you for sharing.
I marinated my steaks first. Googled steak marinades and came up with ‘The best steak marinade in existence and it is. Then air fried my steaks. Wonderful and juicy
Too overcooked for me but excellent video! I can always adjust down. Aside from being medium well (I love mine medium rare), the look amazing! Thank you so much for your video. Super helpful for a new air fryer owner. :)
WOW! Those Steaks are cooked to perfection! I wasn't expecting them to look so good once you cut them open. But wow I'm really going to pick one up on my next trip to SamsClub
Dont use aerosol type sprays..the chemicals in them will eventually damage the non stick coat on the air fryer plate. Use a manual spray bottle instead.
You haven’t heard that chemical sprays ruin the nonstick coating on your air fryer get a spray bottle and put your favorite oil like avocado or olive oil in the bottle for spraying food to make it good and crispy and it’s healthy
True lol......i think that since the fan and airflow helps cook food faster though, we can get away with cooking meat at 375 for a shorter amount of time than we would an oven.
@@cookingwithalittlespice IT WAS SO AMAZING!!!! I've always been afraid to cook steak but you have opened up my eyes and my tummy! Thank you thank you thank you!!!!
Never spray an oil onto a hot no stick surface. The oil will form a hard black film that will weld itself to the no stick surface. This alone will make cleaning the basket very hard even with lots of soaking prior to you sponging the welded on grease with a sponge. If you are stuck with such a buildup make a water and baking soda paste and scrub that into the fryer basket. Spray oil onto the food instead just before placing into the hot basket
My gormia air fryer says NO spray oil because it will ruin the non stick cooking surface, so check YOUR air fryer directions on this. I just use plain olive oil and use a pastry brush on the steaks.
Has anyone that typically sears steaks with a cast iron or similar high heat method tried this? And if so how does the taste stack up? Looks like a good alternative
Guga actually tried this but he did something that gives the sear, he put a cast iron plate to heat in the air fryer first. I think doing that, should give you the sear your looking for. You can then flip it after 5 minutes, for a total of 10 mins to have both sides seared and to have a medium cook

I haven’t used my oven since I bought my AirFryer, friggin love it for chops steaks roasting, fish, why haven’t I had one of these before!! 👍🏻❤️
it pays for itself over 2 months in electrical bill savings alone... let alone time spent cooking vs being productive
Now I have seen everything, air frying a steak. Not gonna lie I was a skeptical at first but the steaks turned out great!!
You will love them
Have u seen this?.......

My pleasure 😊
One bad thing I see in this video is the use of chemically-propelled oil. Other than that, thank you for quick and concise video.
Just wondering... what kind of steak did you use?
The Air Fryer is such ah cheat code !!
I’m going to try this tonight. Looks less messy. I always have grease splattered on my glass stove top.

Hey
I have different settings on my air fryer. Eg. Pressure cooker, air fryer, steam etc.
I would kindly like to know what setting to use.
Thank you!
Beautiful looking steak! Thanks for the vid
Awesome video and thanks for sharing your tips.
Thank you so much for stopping by.
airfry, then pansear for a few seconds to get that browning flavor
Trying it now
It's was great
Thank you so much!
I don’t have an air fryer but I’m thinking about getting one. Is it easy to clean afterwards? Does the grease from meat cause problems?
Why do air fryers even have a temperature setting? Every time I’ve cooked using one, and every recipe I’ve seen, it’s set at 400.
True lol......i think that since the fan and airflow helps cook food faster though, we can get away with cooking meat at 375 for a shorter amount of time than we would an oven.
Definitely trying this tonight

So basically 15mins for med-well? 10 for medium?
That steak looks so yummy.

Is that one Lil steak for your puppy?! I always make steak for my puppy.
What kind of air fryer do u have. Or which one is the best thank u
THANKS I CAN DO THAT!
Has anyone that typically sears steaks with a cast iron or similar high heat method tried this? And if so how does the taste stack up? Looks like a good alternative
Comparatively, it's awful. But I also reverse sear and just finish in cast iron

Your invited to the cookout auntie 🔥💜
You do not want to use cooking spray if your air fryer has non stick grids, most all have them.
