Alright people, thanks for watching, im currently wild camping at Stickle tarn below pavey arc drinking red wine, please leave me a thumbs up and let me know what you would like to see in future videos, have a great week ❤️
Congratulations to you both on completion of the Wainwrights, I don't suppose I've seen them all but thes ones I have seen have been very enjoyable. Look forward to your next adventures wherever they are.
Thanks a lot Paul, honestly I would say I enjoyed them for the most part but some did feel really pointless, its a great challenge non the less, will be a lot of camping videos coming soon, thanks for watching mate
Wow, a great cloud inversion to finish with , you both really deserved a day like that to complete your 214 round, really pleased for you. Thank you so much for sharing your adventures they have been both enjoyable and informative.🙏🙏🙏 Would love to see some LD wild camping vids next . Thanks again Matt and Dom. 👌👌👌
Some effort to hike all these Wainwrights 💪🏻 really enjoyed the video and details at the end for parking, elevation etc. Insane views and well filmed capturing it all, really inspiring cheers
@@MrMas9 thank you mate, Its such a good challenge.and good luck doing yours 👌 I would have happily done them a slower.and enjoyed them a bit more looking back now 😄
Matt & Dom - It’s been a pleasure following you. Your detail, and relaxed outlook is brilliant… your choice of Stuart Marshal however, maybe mis-guided 🤣 Lord’s Rake is a great ascent, especially if you turn left half way up and do the West Wall Traverse. It would be good to see you again in The Lakes, but maybe exploring interesting routes that are maybe not the most direct, now you’re not on the clock so to speak. Massive congratulations guys 🥂🙂
Thanks a lot, I defiantly wont be following the Marshall routes again any time soon 😝 I will check out lords rake in the future and I will still be going the Lakes a lot but maybe more for wild camping and checking different routes out, glad to not be looking at 10hr hikes again and time soon though 😂
Well done. Very much enjoyed the channel. Not just for the parking tips, although they do help with the mortgage. Some parking tips in wales would be good. And Scotland. If you don’t mind. Either way…. Whatever you do, get to it because your a natural mate !!! Warmest congratulations to you both.
Thank you mate its much appreciated, haha I thought the parking might come in handy at some stage for people, Will defiantly start getting up to Wales now as its the same distance as the Lakes for me so not so bad, Scotland is about 6 hrs drive so a bit harder lol 😝
Brilliant stuff Matt, an excellent achievement for the both of you - cracking work and excellent content over this time. These videos have inspired me to undertake the 214 myself, so I am hugely grateful. All the very best for the future endeavours!
Thank you Connor and its great to hear you've taken on the challenge, I love to help people out and I'm glad you've took something from the videos, good luck pal 👌
Absolutely brilliant mate. Loved watching you both complete the challenge. Your vids have been really helpful with the detail you go into regarding parking, starting points etc. Some wild camp vids would be sound, but just keep doing the boss walks 👍🏻
Just come across your channel you finished your challenge roughly the same time as I did ..I finished on old man which was a bit underwhelming with it been so busy you did right finishing on a quieter fell ...I also took about three year ...watched a few of your vids now ...big belated congrats to you both great watch 👍⛰️
Thanks a lot mate, I absolutely love the old man but as you say it gets super busy, we just finished on our last one by chance but we both agreed it was a good end, congrats on you doing them aswell mate, life time memories 👌👌👌
Absolutely smashed it man. Big achievement for you both. And finished off in style. Looking forward to some Wild Camp vids and the abroad stuff you mentioned. Most underrated channel on here. Well done 💪🏻
Brilliant stuff this mate, congrats! I can barely walk up mount pleasant in town nevermind this kind of thing 😂 but it's inspiration to get fit, lose weight and give it a go myself
Thank you mate, don't underestimate yourself mate,.gradually you get fitter if you keep on top of it, I remember back in the day I drove everywhere, now I can't stand getting in the car if something is within a couple of miles of my house 😂🤙
Thanks a lot, it's a great journey, I remember back to my first few thinking why would people try and bag them all, then I realized how enjoyable it is and seeing every part of the lakes, before you know it you will be at another milestone, thanks for watching 😍
Congratulations - fantastic achievement. I’m currently on 176 and my 5 year old son is on 38 so technically we’ve done it between us. Can’t wait to join you in the club 😜😜
Brilliant mate not too many left until you can join us 😃, I admire the fact your son has done so many at a young age, if I ever have kids ill be taking them straight the mountains once they can walk. he is going to have some unbelievable childhood memories
Thank you mate, Its mad because one minute you feel like you've not done many then you end up hitting a mile stone and it ends up pushing you on to the next, have a good one 👌
Nice one bro, congrats. 👍I want to do Scafell again soon, one of the best mountains in the Lakes IMO. Lord's Rake is totally exaggerated tbh, it's just a big scree slope basically and pretty straightforward in summer. In winter needs crampons if any significant snow in it. You can shoot off left after the first col of the rake and ascend West Wall Traverse, nice easy summer route. We normally come down Foxes Tarn but bit of a trek like, that ascent is similar to Lord's Rake tbh.
Nice one brother 👌 let me know when you're up them ways and Ide be happy to join, want to go back to loads of spots and take different routes up, lord's rake definitely on the list and good for a video, was buzzing to get jacks rake ticked off, now that they're finished I would like to take on some winter stuff this year as I don't need to be doing long routes anymore and can take my time 🤙🤙
well done lad, enjoyed ya whole series and youve helped me tick a few of these off.. i decended scafell in thick fog and cloud following a map on my watch so i know how dodgy it is.. tek care :)
Congratulations both of you 🎉 really enjoyed all the videos and rewatch them before I go and tackle the same walks so a big thank you for that helps a lot 🙏. Loads of wild camping coming up now mate ?? Keep up the great work brother 👊🏼
Fair play to you mate. My Uncle and I are working our way through the 36 walks now (only done 58 wainwrights so far). Glad you’ve videoed your journey - really helpful and insightful for others embarking on the same journey. Just did Newlands Watershed this weekend (one hell of a slog) what would say is the hardest walk and the best walk out of all of them ? Id recommend you try the Welsh 3000’s as you two seem to have a good level of fitness. That’s a wicked long distance walk.
Nice one mate, good to hear you've took the challenge on and although the Marshall routes are a bit mad at times it's a quick way of ticking them off, my favorite route was possibly the langdales one with crinkle crags etc on as they are some of my favorite mountains, I would probably say the toughest might of been the Kirkstone Dovetale route, done it on a really hot day and took about 10hrs 🙃 The Welsh 3000 has been on the radar the past couple of years, only thing has been logistics but will definitely try and tackle it later in the year 🤙
Awesome achievement well done, I’ve followed your videos from the start and I too have the same guidebook as you have. Stuart has a lot to answer for due to the paths he has sent me and you guys on! What’s your next adventures looking like?
Thanks Brian, The Stuart Marshall book has been a massive help but also a burden at times, I'm glad I done them that way though as it saved me loads of time and money 😂 loads of wild camp videos incoming mate 😎
Your "buy me a coffee" link doesn't work Matt. Was about to do so as a thank you for all of your help. Completed the Wainwrights a couple of weeks ago.

Hey Matt, Blott Outdoors show introduced me to your channel, I live on the Wirral so not too far away from Liverpool. New sub here, and hope your channel blows up
Just blitzed all your vids mate, loved them lot of funny moments, is your OCD not niggling you to get into the #330 club and do the OFs, there is currently a Vloger called Dave Ostle Mountain Man who is uploading as he does them & I think hes using the Marshall Specials, would love to see your take on them 😂🥾🥾💙💙⛰️⛰️
Nice one for watching the videos mate, I've just subbed to Dave, will come in handy to see what the routes are like beforehand 👌 I will use the routes from the Walking Englishman website, he has them listed in 34 walks, I could probably do a couple at a time as well as some look very short
