Great hike out for you. Plenty of fresh air in the lungs, particularly on the ascents. Glad spring is on the way, it's been a wet one. Best wishes on the next adventure.

Its a great route i will do over and over again.. ya never really get rid of that anxiety until you do it and it helps to have someone with you for support.. Thanks for watching, tek care :)

Good walk that Dave,we`ve done these in two separate walks. Scafell and Slightside from WHA Farm then Scafell Pike and Lingmell from Wasdale....might give them all a go again using your route....might😀😀😀. Well done mate.

Aye it's a straight forward route.. nothing to be fearful of going up the gully.. I think it's not talked about much to stop folk taking their kids up there perhaps but the only real difficulty is the scree path from foxs yarn up to scafell.. thanks for watching, tek care 🙂

Great video Dave. That definitely looks like the route we will take up to Lingmell. Somehow we missed it when we did Scafell Pike a couple of years ago.
When you finish on Binsey you could maybe do walks round each lake , we will be doing them. We are on 97 wainwright's so far.
Great Gable is the planned 100.

Aye ya only really know lingmell exists if you've decided to become a bagger.. but I do think its easier/better than the main path to the pike.. av thought about lake walks but thought I'd stick ta mountains as it's my channel name.. however I do plan on doing a video where i drive to 10 lake district lakes in 1 day and have a cup of tea next to each one for a laugh.. thanks for the support, tek care 🙂

Well done, Dave, that was a lot of ascent in tough conditions. I was told that you couldn't do both Scafells on one hike but you blew that theory out of the water. Glad you got some views at the end but I thought your cake rating was a bit harsh!! Foxes Gulley looked very tough but you sailed up it no bother. Regards, Ashley

aye i was told the same thing years back.. its probably just to discourage casuals from going to scafell as their isnt really an easy way up it if your doing both.. i divent think you would have any issue with it.. aye Sandra has already told me off for the review haha.. tek care lad thanks for watching :)

Decent walk that, Dave. Never went via Foxes Tarn always liked West Wall Traverse and Deep Ghyll but watching that I think I've missed out as the scramble up the gulley looked really interesting. Some lovely views as the mist cleared. Looking forward to the next one..

yea i keep putting things like this off for ages for fear of anxiety but when you get there its always so much fun.. foxes tarn looks is a cracking little oasis in between the rock.. Thanks for watching :)

Good walk that Dave! This is one I’m saving for the later part of my wainwright bagging. Looked cold up there too! When were you up there? I was up in the lakes last week and bagged a few (got some footage on my channel lol). Thanks for the insight as always! Matt

cheers Dave... kinda knew how the day was going to pan out but if we started later we would have had to fight traffic, fight for parking and then probably fight for a place on the summit cairn.. so worth the sacrifice to get relative peace... Thanks for watching lad :)
