Great review, finally an in-depth look without directly going for a track drive. Definitely daily driver oriented, showing the pros and cons of the car. Just don't like the way you zoom in and out continuously. And you are completely right about the interior wearing out quickly, it is not of the best quality :) especially for that price. For those in doubt, try one that is a year old...
FINALLY, a reviewer who knows what real quality details are, and what a cheap piece of junk this Cadillac is. Anyone can put a monster engine into a car, but as the reviewer points out, this car costs $75k dollars, and for THAT price, everything should be first class. The only reason Cadillac can get away charging this much for so little quality is evidenced by all the people here putting down this review. These are the same idiots who will gladly pay the price & don't know what real quality is.
I'll take the 4-door or the wagon. The coupe looks great just the rear looks like a concept car. It's crazy how this one guy was telling me how a Audi R8 4.2 can take one of these. Really? A 5.2 model makes the power of a base model cts-V. Great video

First of all the he complains about the piano black getting finger prints and all. well I have a CTS-V and I carry a micro fiber cloth in the car and clean it when i see it get dirty I would rather have a nice shiny piano black because it looks amazing even if you have to wipe it once a week. Also, He complains about the suede getting nasty over time.. well as I have experienced yes it does get nasty. HOWEVER with a towel and some degreaser spray you can rub the suede and let it dry over night it will be like new nice and soft. this guy is LAZY everything gets dirty and nasty thats why you must take a shower every day or you'll be nasty too. This guy doesn't appreciate anything he rather be lazy and spoon fed.
I just wish you had shown us what this american car has to offer an older person that just would like a great fast sports car with a little room in the back for weekend visit of a grandchild. I'm all in with the car. thanks for your review

the main problems were easily seen: piano black fingerprint magnet, center arm rest jiggly hinges, worn out suede steering wheel, the roof cloth, plastic mountings not alligned. you troll or didnt watch it?
Fairly informative video though he was kind of nit picky. BMW M6 $102,000. CTS-V Coupe $72,000. You can you the thousands you save and maybe get a suede headliner installed and a microfiber towel for the piano black interior.
The radio/nav screen has gone up and down for more than 12 years. Th radio can be updated in it's entirety or using the existing screen and the resilution will be just fine. Oh and the car is a bank vault, nothing jiggly about it.
Can't compare the car with M5 or likes. I mean this car got a 6.2L S/C engine produces 556 hp @ 6100 rpm while the M5 got a 4.4L Twin-Turbo with 560 hp @ 6k-7k rpm....I think we all know whose engineering level is higher. For the money you invest into this car, don't you wish you should get something nicer?
And you forgot that the other advantage to this car is the fact that it could probably go to 200k miles and any old joe-shmo could fix it. An M5 or an E63 takes a shit and your kinda SOL.

Honda Accords and Ford Fusions have better interiors than many of the German cars. This guy needs to get his head out of his ass.

My friends dad has one and the suede is already worn and ugly for the most part trim is always trashed unless you just clean it, buttons break because this whole thing is made like shit. This car should be like 40,000 if it wasn't for the engine. I feel bad for anyone who sees this as anything worth close to 60,000.

What's the big deal over the coupe? I think it looks incredibly chunky, obese, and bloated in the back. With that V8 engine in a wagon being a complete paradox, I'd go for the wagon!
God I hate the CTS coupe. It is so DISGUSTING looking. That rear! Front is like, oh yes, so sexy, then the side, its like ehhhh, then the rear makes me want to vomit. The CTS-V is absolutely beautiful, and the wagon is just plain sexy, then the car thats supposed to be sexy looks horrible. I don't get it. But I hate 2 door cars so I can't talk much lol.

The seating position he has is absolutely foolish. In a rear impact the seat will not be able to function properly. The "hood boy", driving position will not help you in a crash...MASSIVE whip lash.
