For anyone who drives to or will drive to Knoxville or Nashville on a regular basis, Soddy Daisy is actually very convenient because of the rural highways that allow you to avoid Chattanooga’s traffic altogether . Plus, the rural highways are so much prettier than the interstates, especially in the fall.

You're so right, Buckeye. I live in Dayton and I go to Knoxville probably twice a month.

I used to live in Hixson But I hated the small yard so I finally sold it and I moved it out to Dayton.
I absolutely love Dayton, but I definitely was looking for a place in Soddy-Daisy also.
There's no other place I'd rather live in the world than the Chattanooga area.
    Thanks for the video ‼️

The water is so cold because they are spring fed creeks, not rivers. Big Soddy Creek, Little Soddy Creek, North Chickamauga Creek, among many others!

Grown up and and lived in Soddy my whole life. Everything you need, close to everything but far enough away for me. Perfect amount of mountains, rivers and towns.

Thank you for the beautiful pictures of my city. One thing that you failed to mention was the lower crime rate than Chattanooga. They have excellent fire and police departments. It is a community who cares about their neighbors.

More guns😂 I love it..we're from California and definitely don't fit in here. Planning our exit in the next year. Soddy Daisy, ooltewah, signal mountain on our radar.

Thanks for this video. I’m curious about Cleveland. Can you do a similar video about this town?

I lived in Cleveland for 7-8 years. Moved to Hixson about 3 years ago. Cleveland has become a difficult place to drive in lately. Lots of people have been relocating to Cleveland. So much new construction has been going on. Houses that are 10-15 feet apart in places around here.

Dang, I honestly wish people wouldn't be broadcasting to the entire country about Soddy Daisy, we don't need or want an influx of undesirables moving here. What are you thinking??

Just moved from Soddy Daisy, TN. Such a beautiful place, considering the mountains are at your back door.

I'm gonna be selling my house in Soddy Daisy very soon. One thing you missed about the pros is the rock climbing and bouldering! Its one of the best places around to do that. My house is less than a mile from the CT in one direction and 1.5 miles to another keyosk on the CT. Less than 2 miles from Deep Creek. Totally redone home. Most everything is new in the house.

That’s a good point. There is plenty of rock climbing and bouldering in the area! Call me (423) 248-2101 Would love to help sell your house!

We'll be moving to TN this summer after my retirement from the military, our top 4 options are: Soddy Daisy, Hixson, and out towards Knoxville: Farragut and Maryville. We have some very specific search criteria and these fit the necessities the best. At this point i am so confused on where to focus. The all have pros and cons.

Stay away. This towns already being ruined by assholes who “want to live in the woods.” Yet they come here and cut down all the trees.
