    I’m currently watching on lookout mountain right now and you actually have lots of options on the mountain. Like Mountain market, Masseys (new cafe on the corner), the Starbucks, rock city grille, rock city fudge shop, mountain memories, canopy coffee, the golf club or the fairyland club, and lots more. So come visit! It is very peaceful and just absolutely amazing up here 🤩

    All of the places named are "towns" in Hamilton County. None of the places named are "neighborhoods"...

      @benjaminfleet3341 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah I thought it was odd that he avoided actual parts of the city of Chattanooga, which is where the best neighborhoods actually are. None of the 5 "neighborhoods" mentioned are walkable or bikeable in the slightest, with small parts of Red Bank being the only exception.

      @@LibsareTRASH Yes, none of these listed are neighborhoods. No one living in any of these places will have a Chattanooga address. In my opinion, the best neighborhoods in the city of Chattanooga are North Chattanooga, Southside, Highland Park, East Lake, and (the best, obviously) St Elmo!

      If we are going by that rule, what are you doing about the crime rate and growing homeless population in Chattanooga?
      Do yall pretend Dodds Avenue doesn't exist when you're going to eat Downtown?
      Do you avoid Rossville Boulevard when taking family or friends to visit a local spot?
      Everywhere has bad spots, man.

    Cambridge Square is sorely lacking in retail options. There are only 3 or so shops. There are quite a few restaurants and other offices and salons but not much in the retail department, unfortunately. In fact, I think that one of the things missing in the Chattanooga area is a town center with shops, cafes, galleries to stroll through. Things are more scattered about instead of there being a destination area.

    Other than Lookout Mtg, none of these are in Chattanooga proper! They're either cities on the periphery or northern/eastern 'towns' that were never part of original Chattanooga. None are true neighborhoods. Like most cities, historical Chatt. grew to encompass these once separate towns/areas. Lookout Mtg. was only for the rich, and the others only became Chatt when it grew to envelope them - none were true, historical Chatt. They are just high end suburbs. I was born and partially raised in Chatt. TN. Typical real estate salesperson miss-direction.

    Native 'Noogan here. Let's clear up the "See Seven States" question. From the vantage point at Rock City, you can see only Georgia and Tennessee. That's it. I won't get into the math, but to see Kentucky or Virginia, you'd have to be 30,000 + feet above the horizon. Airline pilots at 35,000 feet see the horizon 170 miles away.
