I'm betting that no one watching this video had listened to this game's ost before. So thanks for adding "Boss Battle - Learn with Pokémon: Typing Adventure" to my playlist lmao.
Even the way you found this game feels so Mid 2000s. You heard about it from a friend and it ended up being real. No internet. No datamining. Just a good old verbal spread of information. Always love seeing an upload from you. Thanks again Yuki! Oh, and thanks to your friend too! 😊❤
I knew about this game before visiting my friend - I just never had the opportunity to play it before then. Apologies if I didn't word that properly in the video! But I still think there's some level of truth to your statement. Back in the mid 2000s, I'd be buying my games at stores like GameStop or Walmart - I sure as hell couldn't do that here (not without a long trip, at least)! Regardless, I'm glad to hear you enjoyed this!
I seem to remember seeing this game in stores back in the gen 5 days. While I don't know why this wasn't released in the US, the fact that this is being done through a DS makes me think it was for the best.
I wonder if in a few years, people who learned to type through this game will come out of the woodwork. There's got to be someone. Also, the game makes me want to spitball keyboard puns!
I'm glad you were able to *control* yourself and *shift*-ed your mind away from those puns. I'm not sure I'm ready to *enter* the Alisdair dad joke era. I'm sorry, those puns were terrible; I should *delete* them. I should stop *insert*-ing puns and just *end* this comment already.
Bringing in a cat and looking after it for 5 year has probably had the side effect of developing some paternal instinct. Hopefully it hasn't bled into my sense of humour. Either way, I must learn to *control* myself and *alt* any bad jokes I make. Or else I must *delete* them. That's all I've got!
I can't say definitively but Bulbapedia does say "the version released in Australia is identical to the UK release" in their trivia section for the game so I would assume that means the 4 removed pokemon are also removed in the australian version especially since they're both PAL regions, it'd be weird if they were different
I should also add that Bulbapedia also says they never bothered to change the keyboard layout in the Australian version to match what's actually used by people in Australia so the game ends up using a UK QWERTY keyboard in the Australian version (as opposed to a US QWERTY keyboard that apparently Australians use). So if they didn't bother making that change, I doubt they bothered to add 4 additional pokemon to the game
Yeah, a friend did let me know the Australian release is just the same as the UK one shortly after uploading this, but thank you! I didn't know the keyboard bit, though - that's pretty funny.
What memories you just brought back to me, I bought that game when I saw it in a second-hand store, I thought it was curious and I asked my father for it. To this day I don't know where I have the game, but I still have the keyboard.
I'd actually be into a Pokéball that just gives you info on a Pokémon, as I'm always catching some simply to get as close to completing the Pokédex as possible, fully knowing that they won't be seeing anything but the inside of a PC for as long as I play. It would be really handy for another game with similar mechanics to Legends Arceus, so you won't have to regularly purge your pastures of Pokémon you only caught multiples of to meet research goals.
@@yukihoshikawa lol I am so sorry. That was a stupid bug from TH-cam. I was watching RedXlink (melee) and his audio of Melee is only on thr left ear. Your videos are great and fine mb.

Hell yeah, glad to hear!
I don’t have a Yuki addiction I swear I just have to watch every video they post immediately.
It's not an addiction; I can stop whenever I want
I mean why would I stop at one video? What if that video needs a friend.
@@zaccary14 How considerate!

I agree, but it's also kind of impressive it got released everywhere *but* the US. Usually it's Europe and/or Australia missing out on games.
