I somehow beat her on my first try (I did come prepared but still) my Quilava took care of her first Pokémon then Togetic used yawn twice but was knocked out before it finally fell asleep so I switched out with Flaaffy who helped it waste a healing potion before paralyzing it then after a while Flaaffy fainted so I used my Quagsire to spam mud bomb and essentially brute forced it, I’m honestly as surprised as you are that it worked

What are your thoughts on a Run with Wormadam (Trash Cloak)

I'd actually be into a Pokéball that just gives you info on a Pokémon, as I'm always catching some simply to get as close to completing the Pokédex as possible, fully knowing that they won't be seeing anything but the inside of a PC for as long as I play. It would be really handy for another game with similar mechanics to Legends Arceus, so you won't have to regularly purge your pastures of Pokémon you only caught multiples of to meet research goals.

I can't say definitively but Bulbapedia does say "the version released in Australia is identical to the UK release" in their trivia section for the game so I would assume that means the 4 removed pokemon are also removed in the australian version especially since they're both PAL regions, it'd be weird if they were different

I seem to remember seeing this game in stores back in the gen 5 days. While I don't know why this wasn't released in the US, the fact that this is being done through a DS makes me think it was for the best.

Something kinda neat is you can technically have a shadow hisuian typhlosion if you transfer the quilava from Colosseum forward after purifying it. Helluva neat origin for such a modern form, same with ursaluna technically.

I don't see any comments about it, but the Protein guy is a reference to an Aesop fable, "The Honest Woodcutter". It has many variatons, but the jist of it, is that someone drops an item (usuall a woodcutter's axe) into a body of water and a mythical being (a god/fairy/angel etc) dives into the pond and brings back a better version of said item. The person then answers honestly, saying it isn't. The person is then rewarded for their honesty. Sometimes the story has the person *not* be honest, and then be punished for it. The pokemon version is clearly a parody, the whole situation is whimsical (a dude is randomly inside the fountain) and they ask a question that the person would take no benefit in lying, but is still "punished" for it.

Way too strict Meganium line should be in D at least Thyphlosion should be low A or high B Feraligatr is low A high B Golem in high A Crobat in A Gengar S Ampharos low A Fearow low A Gyarados B Slowbro should be way higher for its tm pool alone. Idc that psychic is late Any bulky water is at least in B. Surf and ice beam are perfect. Vaporeon in C is a crime. Water stone availability is the only thing holding it back.

Golem is S tier so Graveler should be no lower than A

To be fair the unknown shiny cave fact only applies to the re-release of the game, at least thats whats implied by the gameplay shown not the original game

The shiny Unown forms not counting taking so long without being found out isn't too surprising given just the odds of not only finding a shiny version of one form and not encountering a normal version while looking for the other forms.

This just happened to me with Poison Point in a double battle in FireRed. After ending the double battle with a Double Kick (Nidoqueen / Charmeleon), my Charmeleon somehow got Poisoned at the end of the battle just after the last CPU Pokémon fainted...
