I don't know why this came up on my recondations. It seems intriguing whatever it is.
Maybe you should have explained what you were talking about and what it does. I'm guessing a kind of WiFi in the car?

Send a good design off to have it manufactured and the products work great. Then some guy back at the factory has one person doing the job of 2 and quality goes down the toilet. Yes there are other scenarios.

I have an AAWireless for my Hyundai Kona EV. Partly because I wanted the convenience but also partly because I hoped it would cut down on the random disconnects I get when my phone is plugged in directly for AA. So far I have no complaints about AAWireless. I think it has still disconnected occasionally but a lot less often than the phone did (on the same cable). My guess is that's because the phone is heavy and was stressing the connector at the phone end (Pixel 6 Pro, only just fits in the Kona wireless charging bay so if it's plugged in the connector is holding the phone slightly off flat). The AAWireless is very light so doesn't stress things but I do plan to fix it with a sticky pad to keep it steadier, just haven't got round to that. Occasionally with AAWireless I found the sound breaking up a bit but I think that was if I put the phone in the charging bay where it's enclosed and overheats. I've taken to just putting the phone on the lower shelf under the charging bay instead where it can get some air and that seems to stop it overheating.

Have one myself. It's a quality issue for sure. Mine works for awhile, then randomly it'll hang up the audio only to catch up 10-15 seconds later - or crash and reboot.

I had the issue and purchased a new short heavy duty braided cable and my issues have never returned.

Niro has difficulty with usb port and Android auto. It keeps disconnecting with poor cable and less frequently with highly isolated good quality usb cable, but still sometimes disconnect. And sometimes I need to reboot Niro multimedia device itself
