Garth Brooks is a huge Billy Joel fan. Garth had great success covering Billy’s song Shameless. It’s great to see them having fun on stage. Would love to see you do more Billy Joel.
I seen him in the 90's two different times. Every time it was jammed pack. Sold out 3 nights straight both times. Garth was crazy both times! He was all over the stage! Best concerts ever!

I can’t remember if Billy helped Garth write Shameless or Garth took inspiration from Billy and came up with Shameless BUT Billy did help write Ain’t Going Down til the Sun Comes Up which is another absolute banger with high energy. There’s videos of them performing it together too 👍🏼
I grew up with Billy Joel's music. HUGE fan. I then became a HUGE Garth Brooks fan so when they did this...i bout fainted it was so freaken good. It's so hard to find Garths music on YT I think it's heavily copyrighted so I'm so glad you found this performance. Garth is so much better Live anyway he puts EVERYTHING he has out there on that stage. Such a fun reaction.
Central Park - - maybe 1994 or 1995; Garth Brooks concert with a surprise visit by Billy Joel (apparently - - I didn't even know; I was pretty stoned and laying on a blanket up by 81st street) - - he was there, though. Aww, that was so adorable, when they both screwed up and laughed. Great clip!!
Garth went a little crazy there because he sang the wrong line. I get it though. He was so damn excited to sharing the stage with Billy. And it's all good. Kinda just felt like a party.
