I've never seen this live, so thanks! I wasn't a super fan or anything, but now I appreciate him more than ever. I used to sing his songs with my dad as a little kid (the piano man made a guitar songbook, so versatile lol)
When he was huge in the 80s, I liked the songs, but he wasn't hot and I was shallow is my guess why I wasn't an Uber fan lol

I am pretty sure Billy Joel did the LAST concert at Shae Stadium. He invited Paul McCartney from the Beatles because the most famous Beatles live concert was at Shae Stadium.
I had this concert on VHS, watched it so many times when I was a kid! Billy is very much a New York icon. He also played at Yankee Stadium (had that on VHS too). If I had a garage band, I'd love to cover this song, it's just so upbeat and fun.
