If you saw this concert from the beginning(tv) he explains alot. Like how he would go find a seat before the show and sit down and think how can I make this person feel special. Truly a different kind of entertainer

Billy Joel live back in the day was off the hook energy wise. At the beginning of this song, when you see band members smacking the cymbals and drums, it's a nod to what BJ was doing. Billy got up and for no apparent reason knocked one or two of Liberty Devito's cymbals over. Then Liberty would knock over one of Billy's keyboards. They continued until they'd trashed each others equipment. Then the band would rush in and put everything back together and do 'You May Be Right". Sometimes during "Scenes From An Italian Restaurant" they had a table with checkered table cloth, flowers, red and white wine etc. and throughout the song, members who weren't playing at the moment would sit at the table and drink all the wine. It was a hell of a show. Garth got his inspiration from Billy.
