Stingy how? They have hundreds of missions and each gives you 40 of the things needed to wish. I find they give a lot, specially when compared with most Gachas.
@@raymondcampusano2991 not really "stingy" per se, but because Global's character release is very very accelerated, we will be forced either to spend a lot or to skip a lot of characters. Original release had much less characters at the start and character released at slower pace I agree that they give us a lot of currency, but it's still not enough to not feel burned out on missing out on characters
@@Hyperversum3 true, but so are new characters. I'm a dolphin and I'm already skipping Simona, because I can't even guarantee the next character. Not to mention duo-banner doesn't even have guarantee. I already missed LilyWill two times in a row Also missing out a character on release means farming their shards is delayed even more
I feel like the EVA collab suffered the same fate as the Re zero one due to not enough fan service since we've seen when the Nier collab happened Nikke made huge bank
This is just a glaring cultural difference between the West and the East. These collabs with Re:Zero and Eva are meant to please Asians first and foremost, not Westerners. That's where they make the most money.
Long time FGO player here and the revenue was up because Summer Banners came out in July and we’re still up at the start of August and they had 3 great Servants one of which is super busted.
SoC seems like an interesting concept. The fact that you really dont need any of the SSR gatcha characters to really excell in the game, and you can finish like the lvl60 tower with a lvl35 team of free low tier bronze/silver units. I wonder how much this affects the non-ultra whale population decisions when it comes to spending. I know i decided to not spend much at all because ive been able to really have fun and enjoy the games hardest content at lower levels by abusing these cheesy units. Other games i feel alot more compelled to spend to get meta units because some of the highest content feels nearly impossible at least early on in the game. Unlike SoC.
Some people can eat the same cheese over and over again and not get tired. Some people want variety. With the terrible pity mechanics and slow shard accumulation, I don't even feel like dolphin'ing for 1 copy of each hero is worthwhile when the imprints can affect which tier a character belongs to and challenges can be cheesed. When I want variety, I probably won't find it in the banner; I'll find it in another game.
@@DecotEpic I think once we get the real time pvp, and also the 2nd tower that you can cheese as much, that’s when all the shiny top units will really show their value. This stuff feels like the entry to the game so far. I do like being able to level My ssrs to like 3 stars easily without having to pull again tho.
you will need ssr heroes in the future content. new tower will release and using those low rarity heroes to cheese it won't work, same goes for live pvp. as much as i like the game but it won't survive thanks to the greedy devs behind it, game currency is expensive and pity rates are insanely high. we still early game but people will see this sooner or later
Arknights more than doubling revenue is nice to see ~ SoC "starting" off with almost 10M is also very nice! Hope that number goes up to keep it alive ~
NGL, while glad it's still high, knowing it lost money makes me think Nikke either did the Three Banner Long Event either to make up for lost revenue or because they probably expected the Eva Event to be bigger than usual. IMO, I like when they integrate Sci-Fi/Military series into Nikke over Fantasy (though the Re:Zero one I thought was fine in the sense that it was a big event, but kind of filler, and the story was comfy). Not sure if by September they'll turn it around, but if people aren't spending for Asuka or Rei to maintain the numbers, doubt Mari will push those numbers up, but I could be wrong since I'm one of those who knew about the first two for a while, but Mari was a new addition when Eva was in the zeitgeist of anime fans. Hopefully, I can pull for Mari. Had to pity for Rei because I ended up using all my pills on that banner only to build pity.
