I like this a lot. I feared it would be just words but i think it has the perfect level of sonic illustration of whats's said.

This is fantastic, thank you. I would happily support a Patreon account @ $5 USD/mo to have a steady stream of detailed examinations, histories, and patching lessons from Serge.

Very cool! Just rewatched this again. Your doc convinced me to buy an NTO a couple years ago and I still love it!

Oooohhh. Mr. Hoffman has Serge’s seal of approval regarding his contributions to the NTO module!?! A seeming impressed SergeT. Said that he only let R. Hoffman present his modules today, and is impressed with his PWM enhancement that was consequential to his efforts in broadening the capabilities of these Serge modules! That has got to feel good, no?! The demo really does present the NTO as a beautiful voice of authority! I know that the classical synth lab at the college nearby to where I live has a Serge setup, with OG paperface modules. I hope I can persuade someone over there to let me in there to give a listen to some old school electronics synth circuitry. Maybe if I bring a little KORG SQ1 and a Bluetooth speaker to plug it all into and get sound, without any risk to their monitors or speakers. GREAT JOB WITH THE INTERVIEW, and BEAUTIFUL DEMOS!! More please?! THANKS FOR SHARING!!

I had a nice Serge system for many years and did live shows and studio work. Really like his "atomic" design philosophy that maximizes flexibility and control.

@@yanproefrock651 I think he just got used to misspelling. I corrected you not only because of Serge, but primarily because of his great family. Misspelling Nikolai's surname is like misspelling Scriabin or Stravinsky. It's a shame, that modern electronic music generation ignores history, concentrating on gear only. Electronic music didn't come out of nowhere, it's a part of classical heritage.
So, it's not about Serge, it's about appreciation of art, not just fancy gear
