DESTROYED Duramax Engine tear Down… I can’t believe it still ran

Alright guys, Welcome back to the Channel! I’m finally forced to tear into the LML engine to figure out Exactly what was going on with it.
Do to the fact of someone NEEDING the engine block, thankfully though because who knows when I was actually going to do it. 😅
Today I will discuss and go over what happen to the Duramax and show knew things I found out about this engine. 😱

That piston/ head might have been from a tip of a glow plug braking off

These engine are known for the crankshaft breaking in that exact spot. Happens more than you might think.

Yea I herd about the issues before but I always figured hit tunes did it with a higher rev limiter bc a duramax will turn rpm fast, but yea after it happened to me knowing how I run my trucks lol I was shocked tbh

Looks like excessive EGT. Need to see if there is debris in the oil pan with condition of crank and bearings, not sure what broke off and hit pistons etc...
