By the way i only had spare 2032 batteries in the house so i gave that a try and it works fine. Doing a bit of research it looks like i'm not the only one. They're identical to the factory 2025 battery except:
- A bit thicker so a bit trickier to get in. I found it pretty easy by resting the battery rather than clicking it in, then shutting the outer case to hold it in against the spring. (I worry about it popping open again at a bad time but it feels strong enough so fingers crossed.)
- Same voltage but a bit more mAh. (For those not familiar with electrics that means same functionality but lasts longer).
