My favorite is the Armadillo. They are one of the few companies that state in detail how their campers are constructed and how they are usable in frigid weather. And the offer and furnace. Having the ability to use the camper in all four seasons is a big factor for me in my decision making process.
Man I’m just a window woman, I gotta see out, and it helps remove that ‘coffin’ feeling, but I also need them to open and be screened. So that last one that marvelously open teardrop rules! Thank you for posting quality yet less expensive options and listening to us viewers! I agree with the announcer/moderator(?) the all wood camper rocks and it is sad they dispersed. Love wood as well and it takes finesse to work with! BLESSINGS OF LOVE
I love a shorter list with more time on each model. I trust your walk through and opinion when deciding which one is best for me then I do the company that builds or sells them. I also like that your videos are under 15 minutes so I can watch on a break and not have to set aside a specific block of time in my day which is much harder to do. Thank you.
It's hard not to fall in love with the wooden trailers, it's hard to believe they would be built but now I feel I have to have one! (someday) all of them are great, I loved the armadillo which is just adorable too! Thanks for bringing this video with the more accessible rv trailers. Now that I see there are some that can be easily afforded, I feel the urge to buy more than one as soon as I can find a place to put them safely. I'd like to know more about rv collectors if you ever feel the urge to make a video about them it would be great! Please remember to place the values to all the campers though. Thanks again!
Out of our family, our beach had a truck and camper, everybody else had trailers and RVs. BUT.... many times we could go where they couldn't. That said, I've seen some really stellar layouts lately. On a few we've looked at, they've built the frames with double weight distribution at the tow ball, they can follow your jeep anywhere. One of which called OPUS built in New Zealand. The frame is sturdy as all get out, and it self inflates using air in less than 2 minutes. Beautiful layout, lots of space, AND A POTTY! Also a pull out kitchen, grill, fridge, sink, all can be accessed while camper is folded up. We saw it out at CURTIS CAMPERS in Oregon. Great little unit. 😎🖒🇺🇸
Now I know that I can convert another 1994 Dodge Caravan. Toss the seats, I can even haul my CR 250 Strapped down were the seats once were. Thanks for motivating me again.

Mind's eye design you did it again all 15 of these campers are out of this world there nice good price just the all around good good campers lightweight small easy for small cars to pull and appealing to looks all the amenities and Room in these campers is so surprising thanks again
Born in 1957, so I remember the boat top camper, and started camping in the Scouts!!! Then my Parents had a Cox Pop Up Camper, and then, another pop up with more room, and eventually a 19 foot Travel Trailer with everything to go camping without having to go to a Campground like a generator, but not off-road, or completely away from civilization!!!!!! Of course I want carry on that tradition, but I’ma skip the pop up, and go straight to the enclosed camper with the bathroom, and the ability to camp year round even here in Fargo, North Dakota!!! So I know that’s a pretty tall order I know, but I don’t want to havta drive a Mac-truck to tow it!!!!!!! All I have now is Nissan Rouge, and it’s only front wheel drive, so I know I’ll have get something a little bigger, but what’s the Smallest Vehicle You would use to tow a Fully Self Contained Trailer, and what’s the Smallest Trailer You think is good for extended Trips??? I served 20 years in the Navy, so I’ve done Lotsa Traveling in Small Spaces, but now I want to do it in Style Economically!!!! Not with the Big Ol’ Dodge Gas Guzzling Van like My Parent’s, but a Medium Size SUV, or less if that’s possible??? So am I Crazy, can it be done, or is this Ol’ Sea Dog All Wet?!?!? 8~}}}

Number 9 is clever. Trailer below to store...anything and everything...and tent on a platform above. People don't weigh very much and with all the gear stored down low Cof G isn't going to be a problem. Double the space on the same footprint.
In my younger years, MANY MOONS AGO, my family went camping using a trailer that didn't have a kitchenette, or shower, or even a toilet. We did our cooking outside on a Coleman two-eye stove. When I started camping with my wife, we had a 10 X 12 tent. Now that I am older, I want a camper that is comfortable without the mess of a stove or toilet. I prefer to cook on a portable grill, and I have a 4-eye propane stove that can be placed on a pick-nick table. Solar power is a must since I have to use a CPAP machine every night, plus we like to watch TV as we eat so electric hook-up is also necessary when we go to established National or State Parks. I am also looking for a camping trailer I can pull with a three wheeled motorcycle.
#14 : a small family delight! #15 Before you & your Sweetheart decide to "take it to the next level" I suggest a few days of camping in this! #4 & #5 Some American cities could use a few of these to house folks away from City Streets! #2 Casual Turtle Terrappin: Absolutely amazing product: I suggest they revisit their Purpose; re-organize their Mission Statement( perhaps advertise like crazy for stockholders/ potential customer orders and give this product a Come-back! *Reacher, I agree w/you! It's always nice when you can take your entire kitchen w/you camping out!
I've actually paid attention to some of the ones listed, that last one caught me by surprise. Like a little tent mansion. An since Reacher said to comment below about how he likes shiny objects, challenge accepted. Seriously, I can get you a string of RGB led's if you want. Think of that cluttered office you can't seem to find space in, now think of it in brightly lit multi-color. Infinitely better, right? Since I seem to be a well spring of unwanted help, mayhaps a video on space saving ideas to help your office woes.
I'm usually not impressed at all with these types of videos, because they never seem to be really relevant to what you expect or to each other. But you've done a wonderful job on this video! What you've chosen and how you lay out your video and the humor. Great job. I'm going to subscribe.
13 IS A GOOD SIZE AND HAS EVERYTHING YOU REALLY NEED. JUST DOESNT HAVE A LOT OF PERKS. I AM FOR BEING OUT SIDE WHEN I CAMP SO THIS IS ALL YOU REALLY GOT TO HAVE!!
I 'VE FOUND THE RIGHT ONE NOW.After a lot of looking & learning i've found the PERFECT caravan. It'll fit (just) in my garage.I can get a 2010 FREEDOM JETSTREAM ~ FIRST CLASS LIGHT WEIGHT 2 BERTH for £8,000 ish.The FREEDOM JETSTREAM TWIN is v.similar too for interior spec.Size, height, length and width, weight is the same but unsure if it has a heater for warmth/hot water. Both are 650kgs so max payload 750kg so my little car will easily pull it.I'll be getting a portable 100W foldable solar charging panel,3x decent long thermal curtains which i'll double up and put behind the normal curtains to keep heat in on all the windows (except the kitchen window of course, cut out some carpets for underneath the seats/storage space to keep some more warmth in the caravan and may get some carpet for the rest of the caravan throughout to keep it snug through the British winter.I also have a battery jump pack with a 3 pin house hold UK plug and can use a normal battery charger to charge up the lessure battery if i ever need it (incase) I wanna be prepared for off the grid when and if i need it.I'm new to camping by the way lol
I love, love, love ❤️ the trailers that have a bathroom inside!!! Just what we’re looking for! But I would be amidst if I didn’t tell you that ALL the other trailers were Really great 👍 as well!! Thanks 🙏 for bringing these AWESOME trailers to us 💕😍💝
Hey, my father is the one making number one!!!!!!!!! That’s my dad in that picture!!! XD the camper is going to heavily support green energy and be heavily customizable for anyone’s needs like regional items and luxuries!!
If you ever do another one of these lists, Scamp campers should make the list. Light weight, Durable and all 3 trailer sizes are still under 20K. We have the 16' layout #4
No.8 Coachmen clipper ultra-lite 14CR would be the one i'd buy for sure,it's perfect!!.Right size for me over all inside and outside with all what i need.Thought about a small tear drop camper but getting the right size with the shower is ify.
I like that list of campers their small lightweight summer adorable and that's hard for me to say as a man but I enjoy them banks keep it up I'm trying to find one that Ada fits me for I fit it I'm building 1 in my yard right now that I would like to make a prototype for a company and its built on a 4 by 8 platform but I think it's gonna work with your ideas and show me all the different models it's making my life in my wife life a lot easier thanks keep up the good work
Guess options under $5,000 is not gonna happen. Maybe I should start building trailers since the mark up is so insane. I could buy a new cargo trailer. Then spend about 2k in materials to build it to my liking and be way more capable.
Look at www.weeroll.com probably a great option for you. Unfortunately my hands and body don’t allow me to be that creative and build my own set-up inside for myself and daughter, but if they did.....
I know right...when I clicked on it I thought they were gonna be talking campers under $2500....20k is ridiculous and a complete waste of money...buy a vintage camper for $500-1000 and refurb for another $1000 and boom. When I heard him say under 20k I didn't even watch the video.
Um, there are a lot of Australian campers in this size that cost the equivalent of over $35,000 US! Crazy. And no, none of them have an internal kitchen or even a toilet!
That modular plastic camper / cabin design has all sorts of possibilities. While it would be great for camping, it has lots of potential for temporary housing after natural disasters and even as shelter for the homeless. The greatest virtue, as I see it, is that the panels can be disassembled sanitized and stored between uses instead of taking up a lot of space and being left to decompose in the sun and weather. Since it can be moved in pieces, it would easy to palletize and transport anywhere it is needed without having to keep a camper licensed all of the time.
this is a very interesting collection of campers I've never seen on the road or in campgrounds, for the most part leading me to think they may not be available in the U S., but some of the designs are great.
Yeah he does. They are his review of the campers from a non partial pov. These are quick overviews emphasizing the main topic of this channel, design. I'm not exactly sure what your comment means, either way, thanks for watching.
I know you're probably going to get a bunch of static from the folks who don't see their favorite unit on this list. Hopefully I'm not one of them. I think this list is a good start, and there's enough interesting designs out there for you folks to do a whole family of list's. One area that I've been looking at for a while are the rigid sides type pop up/ fold out compact trailer market. As anyone who've camped out in a tent in cold wet weather can attest, being up off the ground in something with real wall's and windows can be a marvelous thing, and it can greatly expand the camping season in more northern parts of the country. Many of the mfr's I've looked at seem to have models that at least start in the price range you've listed. Just food for thought. Cheers!!
It's heart- crushing to do research on TH-cam and the prices are in u.s. dollars, but the same things are available in Canada at twice the amount or more... That's even more than Exchange. I guess it includes duties or something... Anyting affordable is old or a tent. At the moment I'm opting for the latter.

I was liking 6 n 5 but when you got to 3 and then two it reminded me how much I love cabins so those are my favorites! Thanks for sharing!
Would really like to talk to the guys in design.
Just a slightly bigger model of #1 would be a fantastic size.
This reminds me of all of those years of sleeping in ground tents with some of the pegs missing, and having to dig a latrine. This is much more comfortable. And yes, much easier to hide from animals. I bet snakes could not sneak in and curl up with you to get warm.

Another excellent video. These are some remarkable and remarkably affordable designs.
You should do a "Small Campers for Tall People" video. I'm 6'3" and need at least 6'5" interior height and 80" bed.
Our family never had a trailer, but I see the lure of these vehicles.

Like number 3. I may not be able to travel the Oregon trail, but taking number 3 down the Appalachian trail would be fun.
I loved the Idaho Sheepcamp trailer.
Lots and lots of good choices! hard to choose but I'm thinking of either 3 Idaho Sheep Camp Sheep Wagon or 2 Casual Turtle Terrapin (Used I guess)
No.8 Coachmen clipper ultra-lite 14CR would be the one i'd buy for sure,it's perfect!!.Right size for me over all inside and outside with all what i need.Thought about a small tear drop camper but getting the right size with the shower is ify.
I love this video and that Luna is just plain awesome.
im happy as heck with my WEEROLL at under 1100 lbs ..all aluminium and under $9000 im happy as hell!
Love the bullet...where can I see this
I like that list of campers their small lightweight summer adorable and that's hard for me to say as a man but I enjoy them banks keep it up I'm trying to find one that Ada fits me for I fit it I'm building 1 in my yard right now that I would like to make a prototype for a company and its built on a 4 by 8 platform but I think it's gonna work with your ideas and show me all the different models it's making my life in my wife life a lot easier thanks keep up the good work
Guess options under $5,000 is not gonna happen.
Some more wonderful camper videos!!!! Yippee!!!!!
Hi I love your work. Do you think that you can do a video on all electric camper vans and or trailers focusing on 100% renewable eco-friendly design?
Lol I know campers are expensive but hearing, under 20k is cheap cracks me up still.
I truly love #14 and #13 "armadilo"! They are genius!..
Number one the best different from a lot of the others love it great price also
I think it's called Farmer's dee-light.
this is a very interesting collection of campers I've never seen on the road or in campgrounds, for the most part leading me to think they may not be available in the U S., but some of the designs are great.
Thank you for showing cheaper campers we do not need marble countertops and gold trims
I'm sold on number 8. The covered wagon is cool.
I know people dump on list channels but I feel like he puts his own opinion in every video
Yeah he does. They are his review of the campers from a non partial pov. These are quick overviews emphasizing the main topic of this channel, design. I'm not exactly sure what your comment means, either way, thanks for watching.
I like the colt and the Kimbo but I love the Tailfeather the best and 5.
BUILD IT WELL AND THEY WILL COME = NUMBER 11
coachman clipper good layout.swift base camp I would buy.
Nice
# 9 & 3! I need something I can take my bike in!
Awww. To bad about the Tarapin. Guess it's the sheep wagon then.
I like the video, but you forgot the most important thing - the prices. Some had prices but not the majority of them.
WOULD STILL LIKE TO SEE A WHOLE VIDEO ON PULLL BEHIND TENT CAMPERS. ALL KINDS OF OPITIONS
Number 11 was my choice. The bathroom sold me.
Likewise
Same here! I was just about to make that comment myself!
I preferred #8 with the bathroom in the corner. Made it look more spacious.
Cheers!!
Thank you, that's very appreciated. I'll add that to my notes. 👍
11 & 8 the best
Slide-out kitchens work, simple.
No 12 was best perfect size n best interior....
For you
@@vincentdewilde Oh Thank you🙌🙌
Cat condos: portable/easy clean materials
I loved this video, I*m a camper junkie!!!!
I like the western Wagon!
#3 is a sheep wagon.
It's heart- crushing to do research on TH-cam and the prices are in u.s. dollars, but the same things are available in Canada at twice the amount or more... That's even more than Exchange. I guess it includes duties or something...
Anyting affordable is old or a tent. At the moment I'm opting for the latter.
you made me happy thank you.
