This game came out on 360 and it changed me. I was in college at the time so pretentious convoluted endings were totally my thing but I remember just the soundtrack being so good and realizing that I missed the way that 2d platformer games played and seeing them on a higher resolution super super pretty And I just wanted more. thankfully, after this game more, Indy started to pop up and it was a really exciting time. Of course the switch came out and now I have no money. Lol
They were working on Braid: Anniversary Edition, a new programming language, a massive Sokoban game and another secret unannounced game all at the same time I don't think they have the resources to also port the witness at the same time, maybe if braid does well...
I played the opening theme of this game, Downstream at my wedding, both when my bride was entering the room and when signing. Everyone praised how fitting the track felt, and to this day it remains my little private joke that I managed to play a videogame song in such occasion.
That's awesome :D. Though there are not original soundtracks for the game, the musics existed before the game but I believe Jon chose then very carefully because they integrate with Braid so much I thought they were O.S.T
they gave mario strikers battle league a 9/10. I don't think I can trust any of their opinions regarding nintendo-published games. third-party games are fair tho

This number can be confusing. I 100% the Anniversary Edition and there is 16 new puzzle-worlds (similar to original game). Other 24 levels are levels releated to commentary. They also include some kinda-puzzles you need to solve to actually unlock some of those 16 puzzles, and it was pretty fun exploring them, but yea, its not like levels in original Braird.
Braid really is a great game that still holds up, just too bad that Jonathan Blow is so pretentious and insufferably full of himself. An unfortunately similar situation to Fez with a great game being shackled to a creator you just want to smack.
It’s funny how Jonathan Blow causes such an insecure reaction with people. If you actually listen to the guy, he’s not pretentious and he’s one of the most skilled programmers and game designers there is. The real thing to criticize about him is that he has some bad political opinions and likes Elon Musk.

I think less than 10% of my colleagues were females. And very few of them actually coming from computer science background. For example this year we hired some grads. All of them are female. None of them are from computer science background. So yeah. Woman has less interest in technology than men. Instead of upsetting about this people should look how to make technology to appealing to young girls. Read his tweets. Blow was insufferable when the game initially came out and now he's had many years to build up his legend in his own mind. A commentary track where people get to listen to his thoughts as a selling point sure is a choice. I knew that dude was awful the first time I read about the "true" ending.

Good puzzle platformer. Sub-par art style, story is mostly pretentious twoddle. I enjoyed it back in the day, but the addition of hours Johnny boy blowing his own trumpet is absolutely not going to convince me to buy it again. Not when I’ve still got my Xbox 360 sat there with the original loaded on it.

This game was so praised back in the day but I couldn't stand more than ten minutes of it. Didn't like the controls and gameplay. Also the developer, well, he seems to be a quite difficult person which doesn't motivate me to spend money on this game at all.

Limbo came out on Android years ago but we never got inside but thanks to Netflix Subscription I can able to play Braid on Android

It's completely optional by the looks of it. At 4:38, they even warn you to finish the game normally before starting the commentary.
