@@mooncarvlog naaahh bruh AT 4x4 been conquering the Philippine setting of off road and been watching some especially jec episodes and they used AT 4x4 if ever there’s a manual from the group is an old truck. This is the trend now in the Philippines for pickup off road so why not put a diff lock on 4x4 AT dmax you know as I said navara had one on there AT 4x4 I’m just saying Australia dmax AT 4x4 had them. But for sure manual tranny 4x4 with diff lock is still superior.
@@PancitKanton it's simple because in the Philippines all new drivers are impulsive to drive when in reality they're not yet ready why ? it needs patience, skills, and awareness to become a driver..that's why AT transmission users are now rising because it's simple..but for us manual transmission lovers and more than 30 years of driving manual transmission sedans, pickups, and trucks it's challenging, in any aspect of the road manual transmission has an upperhand (for us long time drivers)
@@SoJooCars For the new Dmax, I believe the traction control is calibrated similarly to the Ranger PX2 wherein at 4L, the ecu automatically turns off the engine traction control (the one that limits output during slippage) but retains the brake traction control which theoritically negates the need for a rear diff lock. For models available abroad with factory rear lockers, at 4L with rear diff lock engaged, the front disengages engine traction control but maintains BTC. This tuning is good for rocky hill climbs but bad for muddy situations as it kills momentum using the brakes. Cheers

Yung mga reviews sa ibang bansa napapa "ayos to" dahil dinagdag na Rear Diff Lock as a standard sa new 4x4 Dmax, pag dating dto Pinas wala. Tas baka po next year 2022 ssabihin nang Isuzu Philippines "our new Dmax 4x4 a/t with rear diff lock" Maganda po talaga manood tyo mga reviews at magbasa mga comments dto Pinas, dahil mayron sa ibang bansa pero wala satin. Lalo na kung may plano or bbili tyo ssakyan. At para d tyo ma kagat agad nang mga sales representative.

Seems like the reviewers forgot to airdown the stock tires and turn off the traction control..
When you engage 4L = Traction automatically shuts off.
AirDown = we were not expecting this kind of mud.
