      Yes, amazing right. Sometimes when the animals know where the predator is they are not that frightened.

    Thank you Juba, I really enjoy your videos. If I could make a wish, it would be lovely to see some introduction for your car. I mean the tent and all the arrangements inside the car, storage systems etc. I wish you happy travels!

    I'm hooked on your journey of our beloved Africa! Living it vicariously through you two. Thank you for sharing about Mkulu, your camp sites and all the yummy meals you make .... I think this is what makes your overlanding journey so special and different to most wildlife shows. Keep it up, I'm along for the ride!!

    I saw your video and I'm very impressed. We are travelling to the Kgalagadi in November. Where did you book the campsite at Rooiputs or did you just turned up at the gate going into the camp

    • @JubasJourney
      @JubasJourney  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi there. Thanks for the feedback. You have to book Rooiputs it is very popular, booked a year in advance. You book it via Department of Wildlife and National Parks in Botswana. Enjoy your trip!

    Night Driving is NOT allowed leaving early from Rooiputs for Mabua >> Rather stay at Nossob then go = Better Planning

    • @JubasJourney
      @JubasJourney  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      There was no night driving, we left at gate opening time and we stayed at Matopi not Mabua. Staying at Nossob is not always an option, nor does that mean you plan better.

    What do you do for a living that allows you to travel to all these places?

    • @JubasJourney
      @JubasJourney  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I only invest in experiences and own very little. The videos on this channel were all filmed during 2019 when my wife and I were fortunate to take off an entire year to travel and film. During 2020 we worked again, I am a civil engineer. But end of 2020 I quit my job again. I am now going to try do this type of travel part time, with the aim of doing it full time. Still figuring it out as I go along.

    ❤️ So you’re in one big park for 2 weeks, correct? You pay one fee to enter and then camp at any of the “camping areas”
    Do you run fires all night?

    • @JubasJourney
      @JubasJourney  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The Traveling Together Journal we are in one big park for 28 nights. You book each campsite for specific dates. During peak season you need to book far in advance. Fires get put out in the evening due to the risk of gust winds in the dry areas.

      @@JubasJourney thanks for getting back

    • @OverlandSpirit

      @the travelling together journal. This is a Transfronier Park ( South Africa and Botswana) each side has there own rules. You pay at both sides (camp fees, vehicle fees and park fees) per day, depending on where you stay it will be either for Botswana or South Africa, but you can drive the whole Park as long as you do not exit the park.
