Amazing technique. But I would like to warn fellow riders about the costly issues I've encountered over the years using soapy water. Moisture trapped between tyre and (steel rims on atv, tractors and cars ) rims. This moisture has nowhere to go slowly corroding the rim. I strongly recomend rubber grease, it makes everything even easier and when comes replacement time, the tyre comes off like a charm😊. Ride safe everyone

Hey John, thanks for taking the time to make this video! I recently changed my front tire on my scooter and although I bought those rim guards, my wheel got all scratched up anyways and changing that tire was one of the worst things I've ever had to do in my life, lol. I just bought a used scooter that needs new tires and I was dreading having to put them on because my wheels were probably going to get all scratched up but the method you showed should save me a lot of blood, sweat and tears. That certainly worked! I’ve always found getting them off is much more difficult than putting them on. Purchased a decent bead-breaker for this purpose. The CO2 cartridges in repair kits usually dump enough air in to seal the bead if you use 2. Also - be careful with your brake rotors as they’re easily bent. Don’t ask me how I know.
    Great job! 👍🏻

setting the bead is even easier .. wrap a ratchet strap around the center line of the tire & ratchet it up tight .. as it pulls in the tire & beads expand out to sit against the rim lip neat to pressure up.. a little crc556 helps slip bead over rim.. NEVER use soapy water it leaves water in the tire which causes excess heat expansion & pressure variances .. and isnt that great as a rubber lubricant .. 556 is absorbed by the rubber & evaporates in short time to create a firm dry fit & tire bead won't slip on the rim in operation even at very low pressures
