    We did the exact same thing and prepared as much evidence we could find to prove our relationship. We ended up submitting a lot of evidences with our paperworks, then when we came in for our interview, we brought a folder of new evidences that we gathered in the time between. The interviewer at one point complimented me for all the paperworks I prep & bring in lol😂

    When spouse is in a foreign country, it makes some of the evidence really hard on the Standalone I130.

    this video was made in perfect timing! we have just started working on our marriage case with you guys, and we are gathering all of the documents to file the first i-130 and i-45. my name is alison, and my husband, Bernardo, is from Colombia. The only thing I am worried about is that the first year of us meeting was all online.

    I'm hoping the evidence I submitted is good enough. It is impossible to establish residence and accounts together when you live in separate countries. I have been staying in Brazil 2 or 3 months at a time on a tourist visa. I did get my residency card here last month. I still feel it's best I return to the States because I am able to provide a better life for us working in the USA.

    Please help, I'm an 19 year old male and am an US citizen. I got married in Bangladesh where legal age of marriage for man is 21 years old. Meaning my marriage was not recognized by Bangladesh law. Can I still file the spouse visa or should I consider K-1 Visa since technically we are not married by law. Don’t want to wait almost 1.5 years to turn 21 then apply and wait another 1 year to be/live with her.

  • @Gian-ni
    @Gian-ni 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

    I overstayed my US tourist visa 19 years ago (so the 10 year ban is well expired). Last year, I applied for a tourist visa, it was unfairly denied (as if I've been banned for life).
    I'm now dating a US citizen. She lives in Italy and so do I. My gf went to the US twice in her life (w her family). I've recently found out that She was born in the US (while her parents were visiting the US); she got US passport, her parents moved to Italy when she was a few weeks old. She's been living in Italy her whole life.
    If we get married here in Italy, and we opt for not living together (since I work in a hotel that provides with lodging), can she get me a Visa? so that I can visit the US with or without her.
    Or even better, can she get me a Green Card, although we live in Italy?

    • @victor_2216
      @victor_2216 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I'm not an attorney, but I'm pretty sure that you cannot since the types of visas you're talking about are immigrant visas. The US would want proof that you seek to live in the US, if they notice you just want to visit then you'll surely have it denied. However, getting married to a US citizen might provide better proof for getting a tourist visa, since you two might have reasons to visit the US together.

    I'm from Mexico and he's from Puerto Rico but he lives in Tampa, we lived together 5 years here in Mexico and we marry here in Mexico (also we meet online since 2016 but he moved to Mexico on 2018), now he's back at United States and I'm trying to have all the evidence on hand. At this moment I'm trying to have on a folder or package all the evidence, but the thing is that we don't have a lot of pictures or receipts or bank statements together, I mean, we share our amazon account, and we have a lot of videos together and concert tickets, also we were not used to take pictures of ourselves. So... can I present the videos at the interview? Also, for evidence for the I-130 I submitted 3 Affidavits of bona fide marriage. I'm a little bit confused even when he had a migratory process in Mexico, and he is a Permeant resident here.
