If you tend to have body odor when you sweat, try drinking (a lot) more water. I drink an insane excess of water bc of some medical issues. I also sweat a lot. Basically water is going in and out of me all day, so the sweat is extremely diluted. I haven’t had a bit of body odor in years.

Unfortunately, unless there's an underlying medical condition that leads to excessive sweating, where fixing the medical condition can work, there nothing much one can do about the excessive sweating that's not cause by medical conditions.
My excessive sweating is due to temperature and my specific heat capacity being low, so a little increase in temperature can make me sweat. I sweat excessively on my upper torso - my face, neck, shoulders and back when I step outdoors when the weather is hot (and it's always hot in Singapore), especially my face and it's the only place I can't hide using clothing or what not. Let's not include the use of face masks now due to COVID-19, as my face sweating makes using masks uncomfortable and dripping wet inside at times, so I'd rather not use the mask if not for this pandemic.
I don't sweat excessively when I visit countries with cold, dry climates or during winter seasons, and my skin normalised and isn't as oily either.

It's debilitating for me too. I was just wondering for this video because I feel very emotionally weak when excessive sweats result in excessive oils on my face and sweaty underarms. Even when I just walk a 200 or 300 meters outside, or just standing as a goalkeeper I start to sweat excessively for nothing

    • @GLAMRSTV
      @GLAMRSTV  2 ปีที่แล้ว

Hey there, excessive sweating is known as hyperhidrosis, a condition where your body's sweat glands are overactive. It can cause you to perspire in spots where other people wouldn't, and at times that aren't convenient.
Causes of excessive sweating can be:
High temperature. Elevated body or environmental temperatures are the primary cause of increased sweating.
      Emotions and stress.
Foods. Avoid spicy foods, alcohol, caffeine, and other foods that tend to induce sweating.
      Medications and illness.
Increased sweating may also be due to a hormonal imbalance.
      These videos will help:
      th-cam.com/video/RJmTTZv3Z-k/w-d-xo.html
      th-cam.com/video/pCkrkiibTcs/w-d-xo.html
Occasional excessive sweating is probably no cause for concern, especially if it happens during warmer weather or after you’ve had a strenuous workout, but if you are sweating too easily or too much be sure to see your doctor.
      Hope this helps

Let it be there for 30-60 minutes before bathing.( 3-4 times a week) Use mild shampoo, or any natural cleansers to remove excess oil. Try meditation each day 30 minutes in morning and evening. Continue for one month ....u will get results.... I recommend not a cure but good reduction! Try it 😌🙂

I’ve been seeing ppl having success with going on keto, doing IF, balancing their nutrients, and most of all exercising your parasympathetic nervous system. The body tells you when something is wrong. It’s our job to listen and figure out what’s going on. Not to get injections to stop sweating. That’s breast cancer central down the road for ya if you do that, as the toxins instead of releasing will be clogged and stagnant in your sweat glands.

      Hi Anusha,
When your body is overheated, when you're moving around, when you're feeling emotional or as a result of hormones, nerves activate the sweat glands. Additionally, depending on the sweating symptoms, excess perspiration can be caused by anything from low blood sugar to pregnancy to thyroid issues to medication.
The following may help you cope:
      Use antiperspirant
Choose clothes, shoes and socks made of natural materials.
      Air your feet.
      Try relaxation techniques.
      We really hope this helps.

Hey there, It's important to keep in mind that most people who sweat heavily are normalraw2dx z. However, if you are worried, see a doctor, most specialists will ask about your symptoms and health history. They also may want to test your blood or pee to see if the sweating is caused by another health issue, like a problem with your thyroid. Depending on the sweating symptoms, excessive sweating when working out or at rest can be caused by anything from low blood sugar to pregnancy to thyroid issues to medication.
If you'd like to sweat less, here's what you need to know to better control your sweating.
Use an antiperspirant at all times.
Limit spicy, fatty, or salty foods.
Stay hydrated, this is very important
      Wear breathable clothing.

Hi there, Sweating in cold weather seems nonsensical, but it happens to the best of us. Here are a few common reasons why you’re sweating in cold weather.
      YOUR ENVIRONMENT
      YOUR CLOTHING LAYERS
      HYPERHIDROSIS
      STRESS AND ANXIETY
      MEDICAL CONDITIONS AND MEDICATIONS
Seek medical attention immediately if excessive sweat is accompanied by: Difficulty breathing, Chest pain, Shortness of breath, High blood pressure, Loss of consciousness, Seizures, Fever
While a sweat proof undershirt won’t help you sweat less, it will hide those wet marks that'll be noticeable once you take off your jacket. Did you know some foods cause sweating while others reduce perspiration? Avoid sweating-inducing foods and beverages like (spicy food or caffeinated drinks), and keep foods that reduce sweat handy. Wear a few extra layers (like a sweat proof undershirt, dress shirt, light cardigan, etc.), so you can adjust your clothing to match the indoor temperature. This will leave you feeling cooler throughout the day and less obsessed with embarrassing sweat marks.
If you suspect a medical condition or medication might be causing you to sweat when cold, consult your doctor.

Hi there, sweating is how your body cools itself. When your internal temperature rises, your sweat glands release water to the surface of your skin. As the sweat evaporates, it cools your skin and your blood beneath your skin. This can help prevent you from overheating. But the bad news is that letting sweat sit on your skin for any prolonged length of time can be problematic. Sweat carries with it the grime of what's built up in your pores and what's on your face, and if it settles back into your skin-no good.
The solution is pretty simple: Clean/Wash your face as often as possible.
Dr. Bindu Sthalekar practices at Skin Smart Solutions - Khar West, Mumbai and Skin Smart Solutions - Grant Road, Mumbai. The doctor also provides online video consultation through Practo.

Hi, excessive sweating is known as hyperhidrosis, a condition where your body's sweat glands are overactive.
      Hope this helps :)

I sweat a lot after sunscreen application!! What to do 🥲

    • @GLAMRSTV
      @GLAMRSTV  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Keerthi,
When you apply an SPF, the skin's surface smoothens, and the droplets tend to come together and form bigger droplets (think rain drops on glass). These take a longer time to evaporate than smaller droplets. That's when you feel the sweat running down your face and the "sweatiness" kicks in.
While you can’t stop sweating once you’ve applied sunscreen, there is an effective way you can prevent it from happening in the first place. You can do this by applying antiperspirant correctly before you slather on the sunscreen. Applying sunscreen should be the last step in your skin care routine. In the case of antiperspirant, it is best to apply it to clean skin at night before going to bed.
However, if you have excessive sweating we recommend you consult with a dermatologist.
      Hope this helps.

The city I live in had once been labelled hottest city in the world sometimes 3rd but sometimes in top 4 hottest sometimes
But when I went to Ahmedabad (which is less humidity cold temperature) then I got sweat fast when I went outside
Half of the city I live in is in the toroid zone of earth and has been labelled hottest city on planet earth often many times but somehow when I went to a colder place then this happened? Why?

Hi there, Sweating in cold weather seems nonsensical, but it happens to the best of us. Here are a few common reasons why you’re sweating in cold weather.
Your environment, clothing layers, Hyperhidrosis, stress and social anxiety or certain medications or medical conditions.
Seek medical attention immediately if excessive sweat is accompanied by:
      Difficulty breathing
      Chest pain

Hi there, please don't take your friends words to heart, most of us tend to sweat more than normal in the summers. It’s a normal bodily function that helps regulate our temperature. People commonly sweat most from their face, head, underarms, hands, feet, and groin.
You can be sweating due to warm temperatures, exercise, stress or spicy food. If you find that your face and head are very sweaty on a regular basis, even when you are not hot, stressed, exercising, or eating spicy food then please consult with your doctor who might be able to help.
      Sending you love and light.

Hi Debashish, excessive sweating is known as hyperhidrosis, a condition where your body's sweat glands are overactive.

Well, watching how the puddles of sweat just dried up within 48 hours was so satisfying, I used what I read about the other day. Although it actually took about 72 hours for my sweating to normalize, I went ahead and go'ogled the latest by Cynthia Yulesin and I don’t have to change clothes 2 times a day.

Hi Simon, you can try applying antiperspirant before bed and in the morning. keeping a soft, absorbent towel in your bag, desk, or car to help dry excess sweat. using plain, unscented face powder to help absorb moisture. avoiding spicy foods and caffeine, both of which can increase sweating.

Hi there, an excessively sweaty forehead in most cases doesn't have any specific cause. However, it can be hereditary. It can also be due to a large amount of sweat glands, weather conditions, extreme emotions, certain medications and medical conditions. It could be a way for your body to to cool down the body temperature.
You can resort to simple yet effective tips to manage your excessive sweating issue. Make sure to take regular showers, wear comfortable clothes (preferably cotton ones that let your skin breathe), limit your caffeine intake, avoid spicy food. Always keep a soft and dry towel handy to wipe off your sweat.

      Hi Gaby,
It's important to keep in mind that most people who sweat heavily are normal and not sick.
      Hope this helps :)
      Take care
