My lical cheverolet dealer just gor a zr2 bison in this sand dune metalkic color, it looks sharp for around 62,000. Just may trade in my 2023 colorado trail boss truck on the zr2 bison in this color or in the bronze harvest metallic color. Had thought about just buying a zr2 for 52 grand then going straight to a local tire dealer to get size 295/70R17 tires installed on it for better clearance. Could always buy those AEV noron steel skid plates to install on the truck.
I have this exact truck set up on the website - just trying to find some real videos before I head to the dealership to place an order. Looks awesome - Still not sure if I want the Sand Dune or Sterling Grey. I have been stuck between this, the Canyon ST4X AEV and Ranger Raptor - the looks of this one keep pulling me in. Shame this one doesn't have the black door handles (must be a regional thing)
I have a Bison and RR on order. Torn as to which one to take. Might just come down to whichever comes in first. I love the looks of the Colorado but the RR has so much to love. Stick a set of wheels and 35's on the RR and it makes the decision very difficult. Especially when the RR will fit the 35 under the bed. Ugh. #firstworldproblems lol
I have the ZR2 in Sterling Gray, great looking truck. I have a Bison on order in Blue waiting to be shipped. The door handle might be a part of a black out package, but I’m not sure. I hope it comes with black handles as it does look better. The Raptor is a great option as well if you’re looking for performance, but if looks matter to you imo the Colorado looks best. Average MPG I’m getting is 17.2. Go test drive both if you can.
Wait wait i have a question ❓ isn't "ZEDR2" or ZR2?? how come the ZEBRA 🦓 WOULD BE "ZEDBRA"? come on men!!! Teach the young one's a True pronunciation of an Alphabet 🔤
6’ bed would look terrible & extend the wheelbase. Looks perfect as-is. Unless you work construction, then a 6’ is unnecessary. Those buyers are goimg full-size.
There’s some owners who’re complaining of tire rub with the ZR2s. 35’s were not engineered correctly to have enough clearance!!? Have you had this issue? This is downright outrageous and shameful of GM if confirmed true.
The Bison was developed with the help of AEV to fit 35’s from the factory, it sits 1-1/2 higher (1/2 suspension lift and 1” due to larger tires), a different offset on the AEV wheels further aides to create a no rub situation thru the suspensions travel. The Multimatic DSSV shocks are also tuned differently from the stock ZR2 to accommodate the heavier wheels, tires and extra weight of the Bison package. So a Stock 2023-24 ZR2 may have rub issues with a 35” (as they are stock with a 33” tall tire not a 35”) tire but the Bison does not ( although the tire on the Bison is actually only 34.4 or 34.5” )
What are you even talking about? There are multiple people with ZR2s & AT4Xs riding on 35s … stock suspension. Go check the Coloradofans forum if you doubt me.
@@lndscpe ok. This channel called Pushing Pistons had posted a video. th-cam.com/video/UKaPcSdGS1s/w-d-xo.htmlsi=r8QfHdGBOZQHQUuu Sweet looking truck otherwise. I don’t know if it’s the quality problem ie designed right, built wrong or design problem ie designed wrong, built right. Both are very bad. But if it’s the latter that’s embarrassing.
You can buy this zr2 bison truck for about 62k to 64k depending upon which options come on it. Now if you decided to buy a 2024 Tacoma TRD pro you would end up spending around 78 to 80 grand by time you pay 5 grand market adjustment over it's msrp price of 67 grand and then add sales tax on the truck. It would most definitely not be worth that much money.
GM should've given Bison a bump in horsepower.
The thing that they did right with this truck is 35s and the spare tire in the bed....honestly, that's it.

Great review
Thank you!
The price is crazy ! 💀
Why doesn't this have black door handles? The online build configurator says it comes with black door handles.
Ok, for 81k you get the black door handles!
