The way this is filmed, with the dark background and the shine on the suit blurring round the edges, makes his head look huge. He looks like a bobblehead doll come to life. Adds to the performance, it does : )
This man is hilarious! One of my top ten favorite comedians of all time. I just found out recently that Eddie Izzard retiring from comedy to become the first transgender member of parliament. Good for him! Best of luck, Eddie!
"what'd they do wrong?? What'd they do right??" You have a point. And it's not just A British thing. I don't think I've ever seen a male American ever play Hopscotch. The grid has single and double boxes with increasing numbers, 1 to 10 with a block at the end called Home or Heaven. Single hop on the single squares, (one foot in the air) and on the double squares you can land your hop on two feet (barring the rules). Just like jacks, you start on onesies, then twosies, then threesies on up to Heavensies. The person tosses a marker to the square they will do next. The marker must stay in the square you roll for to play. To play onesies, the marker (most often a rock) must land in the square marked one. If it doesn't, you lose your turn. For twosies you send the marker to the 2 square and so on. You also have to play Heavensies, too. Once you hit the proper square for your turn, you hop through the numbers. You avoid jumping on the square with the rock on it till you land on both feet in Heaven. Then as you hop your way back down, you pick up the rock from the square and continue to hop starting with the square you removed the rock from. If you misstep, you lose your turn and have to start the number you failed at when it is your turn again. Successfully completing one level allows you to play the next level, like sinking a billiard ball allows you to keep playing till you miss. You can fail by: Missing the square with the marker toss Stepping more than one foot into one square Hopping outside the lines Putting the second foot down when you've hoped onto a single square and need to balance on one foot Falling over Stepping on the square with the rock Failing to pick up the rock There's a lot of organization of thought and strategy to it.
I have always wanted to learn how to play hopscotch so I really appreciated you posting - thank you! But I think I have discovered why boys don't learn - I got as far as "If it doesn't, you lose your turn" before having to go lie down until my head stopped spinning. I now have an even greater respect for (and envy of) women. :)
Well, if it's any consolation, I've always wanted to do Double - Dutch jump rope skipping with 2 long jump ropes, 2 turners and two skippers. The turners and skippers switch places and make some complicated routines. And they can even keep the ropes moving properly if they lift them over the skippers' heads to change places. Wow!
I love the little dance he does with the Im a gran i live forever
Oh, Eddie. I love you so.

No comedian has so much fun on the stage
Today, Prince died at age 57, and the Queen is celebrating her 90th birthday, and this clip is all I can think of.
Woah
She's dead, now.
Still proper gutted about Prince because he was the greatest and no one gives a toss about the Queen….good riddance
I too want a Grim Reaping Equipment!

Missing the square with the marker toss
Stepping more than one foot into one square
Hopping outside the lines

Falling over
Stepping on the square with the rock
Failing to pick up the rock

Where does the organization and strategy come in? It seems like more of a game of skill (balance and tossing) to me...
So funny! I love it
She had a good run
The best of the best! ;O)
The Skipping boxer and girl is so very funny
bom, bom, bom, i am a gran!
I find myself saying "It makes no sense!" in a French accent like he does...lol
I'm always quoting him in all his accents.
Queen Elizabeth II died today; when i heard the news this was the first thing i thought of
RIP Liz
You have a very high voice for a boxer. "Yes, I do."
My Grandma lived to be 93 -- died the next day.
I know, I had just found my senior quote though and was making a note of it.
"I have a very deep voice for a girl"
do you?
Was he in heels Lew Kade?
the next part: "My tongue got stuck on my back tooth"...
And today this was proven to be false
I know, oap is old age pensioner , but it's also old ass person
