I own three glocks in the US, two in 9mm and one in 10mm, and the case is even designed just like the real Glock cases. The missing foam part is to store more magazines. I like the aesthetic of the gen 4 4.5mm bb version better since they made the safety look just like the serial number plate on the real ones. Can’t wait to get one myself for some super cheap trigger practice.
well soon here, there is going to be two companies producing .22lr conversion kits for glocks which is legal in uk with a 12inch barrel which these companies will be doing
It also looks like the lower is the same as a real glock pistol. The spot where the second safety is where the serial number is found on the real glock.
Your right. I got a used glock 17 that had no cheap case and you can't buy one. I will buy this air gun to get the case for the case! I will carry my glock 26 or 17 if this doesn't intimidate a home invader! Great looking replica!
The age old problem of pelets falling from the magazines is something I cured by getting a DIY home brew kit rubber demi jar bung, and putting 8 arraged round headed pins in one end. The pin heads push the pellets home in the magazine.
This one is not as a high and accurate quality of a replica as the G17 gen4 BB pistol - but this one gives a nicer shooting experience because of the noticeably harder bkowback and muzzle velocity. The accuracy on the gen4 was way poor in comparison to this one. But I do like my UX SA-10 way more than this one.

Sweet! Andy's copy of this shot even quite accurately on target - and from 8 meters even!! Mine shoots a pretty good grouping on 6 meters - but the group appears approx 3x3cm up/right from the aimed bullseye. Sure. The slide is not firmly fitted onto the pistol as on the gen4, but it works well enough for this hard hitting pellet shooter. The gen4 BB version is definitely for those who just want a good looking and feeling quality replica of the original firearm. This pellet G17 may have a distinctive trigger pull - but I must say that I like more to shoot it than the bit sloppier gen4 with more authentic feel and action... I just might get me one of those SA-10s also. More drum magazines to use in both guns!!😁😁
Umarex must have paid big bucks to acquire the glock licence given the amount of versions they’ve released. I bought the standard 17 bb version. It’s ok . But I think I’ll stick to the historical replicas. Like the colts, ppk and p08 etc.

I found to make the second stage to fire the gun acceptable I took the slide off and greases the trigger mech and the spring then I left the gun cocked for a week. That softened the spring enough now it fires pretty nicely
Hey, first I had to spray silicone spray because the pellet belt almost wouldn't rotate while firing. After 8 reloads the pellet belt was faulty - broken in 2. I then bought 2 service kits, each containing a pellet belt. When placing the 2nd pellet belt, the weapon only fired half of its pellets. Weapon sent back to Umarex. I am absolutely not satisfied with this performance !!
I was expecting a higher quality Glock 17 pellet and a slide lock when out of ammo, for now Sig Sauer airguns are my choice when it comes to plinking That Glock case is the same used for the firearm, I bought one for my G19 in the USA for about $20, it comes with a lock, a barrel cleaner, documemtation and a warning sticker reminding of the danger of firearms I guess I will get it for my collection since it is a must, it will be kept in a classic original case from a 1994 Glock 17 43.cal, not hard to get one shipped from the US, it should come with all the accessories
Just got myself one of these, I got it instead of the Gen4 because I wanted a realistic replica pellet firer, and unlike the Umarex 1911 Government A1 you're able to use the slide, it has a working magazine and its a blow-back. Ok the slide has a slight bit of play and the trigger pull takes a bit of getting used to, but if anything the trigger pull being very long just means its very very safe to use. You're never going to accidently fire a shot off. The gun has a very nice feel to it, is very well put together and fires well. But part of me wishes I'd gone for the BB firing Gen4. Can you recommend an alternative high quality replica pellet firer, and can you also maybe do a video on how to properly maintain and clean this pistol as you cannot field strip it. Jamie Smith may not be your thing but the sig sauer m17 pellet is a really nice pistol , I have put 500 pellets through mine and not one problem, accurate as well , blowback (no lock back) nice weight and feel ,I also chose the gen4 having compared all the current umerex glocks . If you can have a look at the m17 , it really is a nice pellet pistol👍🏻

Jamie Smith this same channel has a review of the m17 , it has the 20’round belt mag and like I said no feed issues , on a personal note I purchased the 226 also .. I’ve been a collector/buyer for 15+ years .. the M17 in my opinion is the the best “pellet “ c02 pistol I have purchased , the glock 17 gen 4 is a very good “replica” BB gun , and the best of the umerex glocks.

The black rotary magazine is not for BB. The manual, well the one that came with my recently purchased gun, shows clearly that the rotary magazines with the silver cog can be used for either ammo. The black magazine doesn't fit correctly in any of the lower positions and falls out if the magazine is facing downward. i've seen it suggested elsewhere that the black rotary mag is for BB, so this could be a common misconception. i'm only guessing that the black one is only for use in the top position when the gun is not in use. I've emailed Umarex asking for clarification and will update when, or if, I get a reply. I wonder if anyone has had a malfunction when using the black mag? Regarding the strange cutout in the case. i'm planning to get a thinish piece of foam from a craft shop to fit there, hopefully that would help prevent any rattles from anything stored there.

This one is off the list, the sound of the metal and the way the trigger pulled, the silly safety that would be covered by an attachment. The slide not locking back when its empty. Unfortunately the slide not locking open is a characteristic of all semiauto pellet pistols I know of. Apparently they did not figure out a way to lock a slider on the last round without a magazine follower. On a bb gun, the slider is actually functional since it pushes the bb into position for the shot in the barrel/hopup and also cocks the hammer/striker. As mentioned, on a pellet pistol the blowback is just for show, as all the action is activated by the trigger pull.

Sig sauer 1911 fires pellets, 1.77 magazine holds about 18 pellets, very good gun, £300 brand new, I bought one of my mate for £200 very powerful handy to carry around as long as you make sure you have hidden it safely. I shot someone window from 80 yards it went through the window perfectly, Id like a glock but don't know how much they are?
I had one of these but not for long because of the trigger was very stiff and it throws me off target but myself personally I’d prefer a lighter trigger so my fingers aren’t tense trying to pull a stiff trigger
Hoping the next model out is Gen 4 build quality and features but with a rifled barrel for .177 only and come un lets up it to 6ft lb's so I can use it on vermin. That would be sweet AF! Ordered a Gen 4 for now but fear Corona Virus will delay shipping until god knows when.
I've just bought one, and I've ditched the BB mini-magazine, and replaced it with a fourth pellet one. I can't see any reason, why you would want to shoot BBs through it.

i wonder how far the license goes because the case that gun came in is the actual case the glock firearms come in, its only missing the warning labels on the top where the cutoff of foam is. Also that cutoff is used by glock for the manuals and firearm cable clock when you purchase the gun

The case is a replica Glock case. As for the half foam part. Your opening the case upside down. The half piece of foam should be on the top with the full piece on the base of the case. If one opens the case with the logo on the case clips right side up while the case lays flat, it makes sense.
The safety switches on Glocks aren't meant to be used as a 'normal' safety Andy... They are there to stop small kids blowing away family members (or similar) when the gun is stored at home ✌️
maybe you can explain to me why I was blocked for a week when I took out my air gun on live air just to show it. and you make videos, show them without any problem. Google says that no weapon or knife can be shown on TH-cam, but it is full of such videos. is there any special license required to create content about airguns?
Seems. These better brands trigger pulls are too heavy and not to accurate compared to a crosmanbrevolver which is 50$ . No blowback fear. But u get to pull hammer back and pop in magazines a bit faster I think From the few reviews I looked at it seems to be a good choice
Agree Andy, the pellet version has a pot tin feel in slide, the trigger is hideous, one of the worst out there I reckon. Drop the magazine and the bb mag wheel falls on the table/floor because of loose fitting, they should have made the pellet version a gen4, a flood of glocks to the market to which the gen4 can only say in a small way that's its glock perfection. Really disappointed with my dual ammo and trading in for a gen4, wanted a Glock for my collection(even though I'm not a massive fan)😂 but this one won't be staying in it, much prefer the M17 in quality, trigger, field strippable , realism/feel, the SA10 may be better but the gold markings put me off unless I've got that third nipple and change my name to Francisco Scaramanga;)

loved the video. good clean and informative, Glocks i must admit dont do it for me so three in a row is starting to lose my interest. can we have a rifle please, springer or ram rather than pcb. the SA10 does sound good, when will that video be rereleased? what was the cost by the way. even an indictative rrp would be nice as it keeps choice to proceed further and to ask about purchases. the mention of cold and gas was a great spot on point as very few ever mention it

Just got myself one of these, I got it instead of the Gen4 because I wanted a realistic replica pellet firer, and unlike the Umarex 1911 Government A1 you're able to use the slide, it has a working magazine and its a blow-back. It’s because sometimes the gun won’t shoot and the gun will think it’s empty when it isn’t

The case is legit. The cutout in the foam allows for extra mag, backstraps and load aid.

The issue with this gun is when the belt snaps (like mine) there impossible to find.
I would stick to my Gen4 its the most realistic bb glock out there i want the 19x as well

The case is a replica Glock case. As for the half foam part. Your opening the case upside down. The half piece of foam should be on the top with the full piece on the base of the case. If one opens the case with the logo on the case clips right side up while the case lays flat, it makes sense.

The case looks exactly as an actual Glock case. The grey tabs and cut foam are authentic.

The safety switches on Glocks aren't meant to be used as a 'normal' safety Andy... They are there to stop small kids blowing away family members (or similar) when the gun is stored at home ✌️

Seems. These better brands trigger pulls are too heavy and not to accurate compared to a crosmanbrevolver which is 50$ . No blowback fear. But u get to pull hammer back and pop in magazines a bit faster I think

Agree Andy, the pellet version has a pot tin feel in slide, the trigger is hideous, one of the worst out there I reckon.
Drop the magazine and the bb mag wheel falls on the table/floor because of loose fitting, they should have made the pellet version a gen4, a flood of glocks to the market to which the gen4 can only say in a small way that's its glock perfection.
Really disappointed with my dual ammo and trading in for a gen4, wanted a Glock for my collection(even though I'm not a massive fan)😂 but this one won't be staying in it, much prefer the M17 in quality, trigger, field strippable , realism/feel, the SA10 may be better but the gold markings put me off unless I've got that third nipple and change my name to Francisco Scaramanga;)

Duel ammo is all well and good on paper, but everyone knows you never use them on a rifled barrel.

loved the video. good clean and informative, Glocks i must admit dont do it for me so three in a row is starting to lose my interest. can we have a rifle please, springer or ram rather than pcb. the SA10 does sound good, when will that video be rereleased? what was the cost by the way. even an indictative rrp would be nice as it keeps choice to proceed further and to ask about purchases. the mention of cold and gas was a great spot on point as very few ever mention it
