Changed the DRLs on my Final Edition. Same model # LEDs but they are not working. The lights work fine in my lancer, but not in my FE. Any thoughts on what to check?
Wait a min... Doesnt switching the reverse lights to LED cause a voltage issue with the AWD system? I had heard about that the circuit for the light are on the same circuit for the AWD system and the increased voltage throws a code for the AWD
Patrick Joseph No you shouldn’t have an issue. I’ve ran mine for years as well as many Evo owners. Like in my reverse camera install it shows power is only ever going to those lights when actually put in reverse so super short periods and again zero issues now for 3 -4 years 🤜🏼
John Mondragon I don’t have links as the eBay light listings change often and it would be a constant update. With the bulb codes I provided I’d search off of that plus make sure you get the same Color/temp 👍🏼
@@xtra_slo1596 I bought SYLVANIA 7440 SYL LED Mini Bulb back up. They did not work. I flip them around just in case and still did not light up. I put my olds in and works just fine. Am I getting the code wrong?
These are all the most generic lights you see in led bundle kits. I could potentially do the extra randoms. Blinkers and brakes... not sure what the park light is??

i used 3175s for the trunk light too. had no issues with it working.

Rock auto shows both of those parts numbers for the trunk light lol. Not sure why .
Do you have links to the LEDs you bought? I installed some LEDs but they shut off after a couple seconds, even if the car is still in reverse..
I did the same in my 8. Makes a huge difference!

Condition 1 backwards install or couple check the part number just Incase?
@@xtra_slo1596 Turns out that the sockets are not getting current. I've checked/replaced the fuse with not success. Guess it could be the relay.

Patrick Joseph it will kick codes and you won’t be able to use CC if you do the tail/brake lights... A resistor is then needed

Why you didnt change out the ones for brakes,park, and indicator..
