tbh i like the vland ones a little more. too many day/night LED here :P from distance you can't really pick up the shape i think. from another car. but in vland's case it's much better.. although it's kinda epic that it lights up the spoiler and the rear bumper lol. from distance they would be like extra lights xD

Thanks to your video now I have this version of tail lights and I’m having the same exact issue where my reverse lights won’t stay on. Do I have to add a third resistor? If so, where do I do?

How come all your lights come on when lock/unlock got same lights but. When i lock or unlock only lights coming on are my turn signals or flashers. Any advice?
To those that install these with LED’s if the ASC service light comes up after a while of driving it’s Bc of the LED bulbs from these HC motion Tailights. Recommend either swapping out the LED bulbs provided with the taillights with Oem bulbs or getting a resistor.
After installing the these, my engine is having misfires when it is turned on. Will getting a resistor solve this issue? And which wire should I connect the resistor to? Thanks.
Bro, you forgot to mention turning off the animation also changes the sequential indicator to a blinking indicator 😜 I never actually noticed on mine, I thought it just turns off the start up animation but it also changes the indicator. Also, are your headlights stock vland with HID? I couldn't seem to adjust mine when I had a pair.
How u got ur key fob to do turn on the light like that I have the same but when I do it just the turn signals come on how you do it so that the entire tail light come on like that

I think I’m planning on getting these lights but out of curiosity with the turning signals it’s just the LED strip that’s directional right? Like for example with the startup animation the whole light has a directional animation, would be cool if the turning signals had full light animations too but the LED strip is pretty cool by itself.

Good day just want to ask if your have any issues on your brake after installing the HC motion mine is having problem after 6 months the pedal was bottoming while braking and sometimes abs asc service required? I put my oem tail light everything works fine.
So what’s the trick to remove the corner pieces? I’ve chipped two sets of tail lights on the corner when trying to take them out. I struggle for awhile to try and slowly remove them without the corners hitting the car 😣
Get yourself a plastic tool kit/car interior removal kit. eBay or amazon. Pretty much a must have especially when removing interior pieces so you don't damage any of the parts inside your car.
Oh I just noticed after 2 years, (I'm considering buying the tail lights now xD damn me....), the headlights. my right one's sequential leds died too, i think 2-3 of them, how is your left side? I managed to get a new one luckily as it still had warranty. left side is no problem, but right side had some issues. Also dust gets into them. :/ Yet they were marked as dust proof. :/
I installed these lights and the right brake light on my Right inner Taillight (middle brake light if you wanna call it that) stays on no matter what even when brake isn’t pressed, every other light is fine just that one. Not sure why? Can Anyone help or have this Same issue?

Hi man. Great video. I used your walkthrough to install my new motion tailights on an Evo X 2008 JDM. Just saw on 6.59 minute that you have a resistor installed on the inner tailight. What is this for? I have also installed an after market camera which is getting power from the reverse lights cable. When I connect the new motion tail lights and put reverse gear and then put 1st gear, the after market camera and the reverse Led lights stay always on even on 1st gear. So just thinking if I have to add any additional resistor.

Hey man, I just bought these lights for my 2009 lancer ralliart. But I'm having an issue with the reverse lights staying on. When I shift into reverse the lights come one, but when I shift back into park they stay on and don't know when to shut off. I'm confused, can u help???
@Elliot Roy hi mate, I am having the same issue. Just figured out in my setup (Evo X 2008 manual JDM) that the issue is with one of the 2 inner taillights (mine was the left one). Outer installed motion tail lights with inner OEM tailights seems to have no issue at all. I am researching now whether another rersistor is needed specifically in one of the 2 inner tail lights (as shown in this video at 6.59 minute).
I have the current Vlands and new ones just turned up! Do they just direct swap and plug 🔌 or do you have to re wire things! Would really appreciate it
@@TheSnyds might have to consider these then. While I like vland lights, I feel like half the people have problem with either it fogging or an LED strip going out in a year or two. Glad to see these ones holding up at least

I'm not sure, but you can add an inline resistor. You'll see where I spliced mine in in the video

You can toggle the sequential on or off, but yeah just that led strip is for the turning signal

The resistor could work out in your favor. I had my resistor in olace for the VLand setup. My reverse lights and camera would shut off in 2 secs
