    Your videos are gold for trainee gas engineers but not so great for do it yourself engineers 🤣

    Can’t understand why you went to all the trouble of disconnecting the diverter valve assy , to remove complete pump you simply do the following 4 steps takes 10 min max ,
    1: drain down withF&R isolating valves turned off
    2: pullout pump clip , and disconnect nut to expansion vessel .
    3: undo prv nut from under the boiler and pull out prv .
    4: disconnect 28mm brass nut from on top of the pump connection and literally pull pump to the right off diverter valve connection and out she comes . You really made hard work again if that removal . Try these steps next time it’s really so much quicker , all the best keep making your videos .

      It’s always going to be easier when the boiler is off the wall and empty but the motions you’ll go through to get the job done will pretty much be the same 👊

      Update: didn't use the boiler for 8 months due to renovations. I only had to unscrew the bolt on the pump, turned the pump manually with screwdriver. And that started the pump again.

    Hi. Just wanted some info..
    My valliant pump has seized . I've brought a pump.
    I wanted to d.i.y job ,
    Just wanted to know how I'd go about it.
    Isolation.drian the boiler and then change the pump or pump head?
    Would that be correct?

    Just change the head if the body isn't leaking

    nice, after that is it required any procedure to start/pressure up or just turn ecotec on?

    Why would you need to change the pump body ?

    • @advancedboilertraining
      @advancedboilertraining  ปีที่แล้ว

      Usually it’s because the plastic body has cracked and leaking. Otherwise you can just change the pump
      Head

    Bro in real life u won't be disconnecting everything as shown in ur video. It's a lot easier than that to remove the entire punp. it's only a 20 mins job max.

    • @advancedboilertraining
      @advancedboilertraining  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah I’ve realised that now 😂 should probably make a new video
