He reads as someone who is not interested in the romantic type of love but still has a lot of love to give. Which is why I also like exactly how he ended up in the story with all of the kids and his friends.
The thing that kinda makes me laugh with NaruHina is that before Naruto finally got the message, Hinata told him that she loved him on two separate occasions as she was literally about to sacrifice herself to save him and Naruto somehow thought she meant it as bros
@@Matrix-wp4jc I guess I can look past that for the most part bc romance was never truly the focus of the show/manga (until Boruto I guess, since all of them getting together was needed in order for Boruto to exist as it is, but I don’t watch or read Boruto so again it doesnt really matter to me). That being said, if we have to get serious, I really don’t like is that most of these have no development whatsoever, and in the case of SasuSaku ESPECIALLY it’s hard to believe in them for so many reasons. Wbk ShikaTema would be together and SaiIno doesn’t really surprise me (even if back in my day the default ship for Ino in the fandom was KibaIno… for some reason ?) but SasuSaku are just the most toxic and dysfunctional pair Kishi could’ve ever gone for and I don’t think I need to say why. I like them as a /theoretical/ ship but in execution it’s just the worst I just try not to think too hard about it for my own sanity :)))))))))
@@AoAnli 🥲 yes and yet I still support sasusaku because when the show started it was kind of obvious that sasuke and Sakura gonna be the pair , didn’t expect Sasuke to completely change in shippuden and there the pair didn’t had any interactions or developments but I’m just a loyal shipper 😂 for me i though it was shikamaru and Ino I forgot to notice Temari 🥲 as I skipped many episodes . Yep I don’t even follow Boruto, for me Naruto has ended with Team 7 united.
Lee would have definitely been the best thing for Sakura. It would have indicated that she had finally matured and cared more about personality than appearance (Not that Rock Lee was all that ugly IMO). It would have redeemed her character quite a bit too.
Ino and Sai would work great if they developed it more but as it is it feels like she only married him because he was the closest thing to Sasuke she could find.
@@ag9953sai and sasuke look alike but their character nothing alike. Yes certainly Ino has a type she loves handsome men but she is not obsessed anyone because they are handsome. If you read boruto manga Ino mentioned I absolutely wouldn’t want someone like Sasuke to be husband who doesn’t even come home. But sai other hand really good husband and father unlike Sasuke If we don’t count uzumaki family who need to have drama because they are mc family, saino couple is best with sai and ino’s personality
It certainly would've taught readers, especially women that looked to her character as an example, to VALUE yourself over how you feel about someone who abused you. She would've had my respect for sure. Sometimes it is still hard to leave or reject someone even if they've hurt you physically and mentally after loving them for a long time.
@@BlaxxShadow as a teen female whos dealt with guys like that I agree. I left then he literally came back after me, it mightve been the same if she actually valued herself and her own rights a bit more.

As a middle-schooler, I didn’t mind that Sakura and Sasuke ended up together. Re-watching as an adult woman, I totally love the Sakura-Rock Lee ship. Their relationship would have been so much healthier.
Rock lee crush on sakuraat first but sakura never love him that way but when he saved them in the forest Sakura found up most respect for Rock lee But she always love sasuke.
Shikamaru and temari is such a classic anime relationship. They’re the best couple in the series. It’s such an original and unique pairing because they’re so different. Kishimoto can’t write about love and romance very well but with this couple, he succeeded. Temari was built up as a tough older sister to gaara, who terrified shikamaru at first. She was an iconic kunoichi with a big fan that was paired to fight shikamaru, who is bland and lazy. His brilliance impresses her time and time again. Then after they failed to bring back sasuke, temari sees shikamaru’s vulnerability. He fails his first chunin mission and his best friend was near death. It was in that dire moment that it was obvious they would end up together. They remind me of miroku and sango, the best pairing in inu yasha. Or they also remind me of android 18 and krillin. Some anime couples just stand out because they’re so unique. It gives a sense of realism to the series.
Yeah I think Kishi(most shonen writers) use being "bad at writing romance as an excuse", Shikamaru and Temari should he could write good romance if he really wanted too, and I never made the connection with Miroku and Sango, that's actually pretty good, the 18 and Krillin one matches up to.
Neji and Tenten should have happened 😭 And yes, Shikamaru and Temari are 100% the best couple in the whole series! From the moment the two of them first meet, you can just tell that they were gonna end up together! They didn't shove it in your face or anything, but the flirting and casually being together all the time was very "Yes. Yes, this works." 😌
@Toy Chica~ Idk if you're watching boruto but i believe that Tenten could do basically what Houki does but being way cooler with the scrolls and her perfect aim
@@merr12345my problem with that is sakura lovers wanted narusaku but flipped to sasusaku cuz their fav. character chose to do so. They don't really care about any of the ships it's all to defend their character's decisions. Naruto deserves Hinata.

If it was up to me, Hiashi should've died protecting Neji during the war. Kinda subverting the roles the hyuga clan used to have with someone from the main family sacrificing themselves for a person in the branch family. This would also allow for Neji to be- if not the head- someone valuable/ trusted for leadership advice by Hanabi and the clan.
Neji's death pissed me off😡🤬😡🤬 so much because it was useless💔💔💔..and Neji was a great character with so much potential to be the head of the Hyuga as he was a genius..his death was just lazy ass writing..sorry not sorry...
@@TeresaGreen-yi8je I still am, I'll never forgive Kishi for that, that's truly his worst mistake imo. Neji couldn't have been the head of the clan no matter what because this is not how it works even without the main/second branch thing.
Fair enough. The only relationship which actually did grow in a relatable way was Naruto and Hinata's, and as adult's Naruto has shown he's not a good father or husband. "The best thing you can do is the right thing. The second best is the wrong thing. The worst thing you can do is nothing and all." -Theodore Roosevelt. Naruto, constantly is never around and done nothing in-person himself any more. Shadow-clones, an e-mail, and spending more time outside his own home than inside it. I swear, Goku has more fatherly and husband moments, and is better at it then Naruto.
@@geoffreyedgson7875 my one complain about naruto and hinata relationship is in the pain arc wear hinata finally confess feelings for naruto when she sacrifice her life to save naruto from pain. It's insane. It's a shounen, but the guy never got the girl. Instead all the girls got their man, as if the journey was about them. Hinata had some Speedrun adventure at least, but ALL the parallels were about Naruto/Sakura. Also why did Sakura become Hinata and Hinata became Sakura in the relationship 🤪☠️🙃-
@@AarenYASS what do you mean Sakura become hinata? that makes no sense. Hinata was always destined to be just a house wife, that girl never wanted to be a ninja, she was just forced bc she was the head of her clan
I would say that Hinata's crush got more substance becos this wasn't just "oh he pretty" liek Sakura and Ino were about Sasuke. Naruto was hinata's "way of ninja" he impressed her, he was giving her strenght by constantly fighting against all the discrimination he was subjected to. Even if it's one sided, Hinata crush is jonestly amazing, At least for Kishimoto style of writing
@ 15:50 There’s also Matsuri. She’s Gaara’s first student and the one who helped him expand his friends outside of Naruto and his siblings. She was introduced in the very last filler arc, but has since been seen in the Gaara Retrieval Arc. She’s the first person outside of Naruto who fully accepted Gaara as his own person and it would have been amazing for them to be together.
Matsuri is underrated. Her choosing to be instructed by Gaara when every other student was running towards Kankuro and Temari (because they back then still were afraid by Gaara) was f*cking cute!
@@HardCoverJacket Gaara wasn't the Kazekage back then, so there wasn't much of an imbalance of power in this dynamic. He didn't force Matsuri to do anything she didn't like to do (as far as I can remember), so he didn't abuse his power as a teacher either.
Yep, the idea of Gaara and Matsuri is logical since Matsuri is canon and she loved him since he was a monster everyone was afraid of. It will be very strange if Gaara stays single having such a girl.
I always wanted Karin and Suigetsu to end up together, just because I think they can relate to a lot of things that happened through their time with orochimaru and how even now they're living like a giant family. Also, It is shown that they atleast care for eachother to some degree.

Most of the new characters are one dimensional and cant hold up close to anyone from OG Naruto. Im not hating on Boruto but its p obvious is a market money continuation with so so story and so so story as people get excited over ships living a normal life with children.
What about the fact that Hinata confessed her love in the Pain fight. Naruto straight up NEVER acknowledges this confession. The Last was an after thought to explain the how they inextricably ended up together. It didn't make up for the absolute lack of romantic interest in Hinata for the entirety of both shows. In my opinion.
To be fair, right after Minato reseals the 9 tails, he only has a vague memory of a bleeding Hinata and asks if he destroyed her and the rest of the villagers, like if he didn't remember pain did that to her.
@@UncleForHire which makes her confession mean even less, sadly, because that would mean they never even had a serious moment before she just hooks up with him
@@MoonPrismPowerrrwhich is dumb because then you wonder…how would he have known to reject sakura’s confession? Also just dubbing Naruto’s feelings for Sakura as his rivalry with Sasuke makes no sense especially when he’s seen liking Sakura before they even go into the academy I think
18:12 I'd go as far to say that in an Era of Peace, spies have far more value than in war time. In order to maintain peace, you need to constantly and COVERTLY monitor your former enemies to ensure that peace stays for as long as possible. Alternatively, counterintelligence is a specialty that I also think that Shino could slip into very well, ensuring that no spies are watching the leaf village. All in all, him being a teacher is pretty silly when you think about it for longer than a second.
Lee treated her well and is a genuinely decent guy, but Sakura *still* went for the abusive prick, even after he tried to kill her multiple times. Even someone who's truly in love would get shaken out of that after a few times, especially when they've had time to grow as a person, like she did
It’s so refreshing to hear someone speak about Sasuke and Sakura’s relationship from an angle that isn’t “Sakura is useless, and that’s why their relationship doesn’t make sense”! I’ve always thought that if Sakura and Ino weren’t the end game, then it was Sakura and Rock Lee. Sakura‘s whole story arc is about her growth in strength. Not just physically, but also her courage, and belief in herself. The two key players in this as both examples, and encouragement were Ino and Lee. Both of them see, and respect this in Sakura; whereas with Sasuke it kind of just goes over his head. I could talk about this for hours so to make a long story short: We were all deprived.
Sasuke was always aware of how amazing Sakura was. He just didn't openly acknowledge it until the end. Please reread the manga and you will see these moments. Sakura was never interested in Lee in a romantic way and she always got disgusted/irritated when he hit on her. He was not right for her. Also sakuino being a thing? Lmao what planet do you live on? Did you just ignore that part where they both fought over Sasuke and how Ino flirted with Sai? 😂
I actually kind of like InoSaku... Not because it would ever happen but because IF it did happen, it would make sense, as to how and why, and nobody would really question it because it would be canon. Too bad they are both straight...
@@icasuallyexist i think plenty of people would have questioned it. naruto is not an LGBT+ world. i don't know why that isn't more easily understood. any time it's ever been referenced in the series, it's been treated like a joke. why are the fans so obsessed with exaggerating platonic same sex relationships? same sex marriage is not even legal in japan.
@@koyukihime2669 Just because they are not shown, does not mean LGBT+ relationships do not exist in the Naruto world. We're all talking about headcanons and ships we think make sense, so anything goes. Who's to say that a platonic friendship can't develop into more? Even in the video, there was mention of SasuNaru and KanKiba. Same sex marriage may not be legal, but that doesn't mean LGBT+ people don't exist in Japan, and by a large number as well. So why be bothered?
@@bandotaku and headcanons are just that. They only exist in your head. They aren't real, and don't make more sense than the canon. There is a difference between romantic and platonic relationships in the series and the line between those are blurred too often by fans. Japan isn't like the west, and Lgbt+ is not as big of a thing there as it is here. That doesn't mean it doesn't exist there, because it does. But Naruto is a shonen series, not shonen-ai/yaoi. That is clearly not the author's intention, and shouldnt be interpreted as such. If you want those kinds of relationships, go read something else. Plain and simple.
Actually, it's also rather common to marry your "Highschool sweetheart". Remember that Naruto isn't completely the modern world, so it's not like people went to the club or had Tinder or other modern means to find a partner, and in the past, people married people in their "group" so to say. That's even how clans were made, as clans aren't just "extended family". For example, Itachi's Girlfriend was an Uchiha girl.
You have it mixed up. Most people grow up with their spouse. Consider villages, small towns, cities etc. they may be linked via school, after school activity, church, playing at the park together every now and again and so on. If not from a young age many spouse meet in college.
To be fair, the Naruto world has been separated into nations and villages since back in Hashirama's day. MOST people in the Leaf got married to another Leaf villager, as most people don't/can't move out of the village. So Naruto's classmates getting married to someone they know makes sense. The only exception being Shikamaru and Temari, and only because the Leaf and Sand are allies.
Naruto and Ino had a lot of chemistry, both had a crush on someone not interested in them, both protected others from bullies, both loved plants and gardened as a hobby, both wanted to bring everyone together, both were loud and extraverted, etc Them becoming friends and then lovers as they matured would have been perfect to show that real love is companionship not the childish infatuation of crushes, when Naruto returned to the village Ino even said she could see herself falling in love with him.
I still think Naruto needing Sakura to tell him that he wasn’t actually in love with her and being pushed to Hinata was incredibly contrived. That should be something that he realized on his own.
As happy as I was that Hinata got the person she wanted, it kinda sucks when Naruto had to be convinced that he loved her and suddenly she was the light of his life. Just wish there was less of him being the densest goddamn moron on earth in Shippuden.
It was not about Naruto needing Sakura to tell him that he was not in love with her. There is no confusion in his heart, the narrative is not showing a "who do I love" conflict. It's about Sakura helping him understand that what he felt for Hinata was the real deal when it comes to loving a woman and that there was no reason for him to feel rejected because Hinata's feelings for him were not possible to had changed because Hinata is truly in love with him. That is what gave Naruto the push to get back on track. The reassurance that Hinata loved him. Kishimoto wanted that particular scene more for clarification to the audience that Naruto was truly not romantically interested in Sakura, but his crush was based on an immature desire for acknowledgement in relation to his rivalry with Sasuke. Nobody can deny that Naruto in part 1 and 2 is an adorable, naive and immature boy who's described to not have a clue about a lot of stuff including a proper romantic relationship with a woman. That is the message the movie tried to convey. I know it's confusing and it was not written in a manner that resonated better to the audience, but it is there at the core of the narrative.
@@amisvega9756 finally some one said it truly his feeling for sakura was not romantic i think he mistook them . Being one of the only females with him he would naturally feel kinda attracted to her . Kishimoto was pandering to the NaruSaku crowd. That's what made me lose a load of respect for him as a mangaka. Having to pander to a large, niche minority of the fanbase demonstrated a lack of confidence in his story. Surely if he was confident, he wouldn't have needed to pander to the pairing fans. Maybe a editor noticed how many shipping fans the series had managed to pull in and whispered in Kishimoto's ear to spinkle little NaruSaku/NaruHina moments throughout the manga. Either way, it was really annoying seeing the occasional shipping tease knowing they weren't gonna amount to nothing but pointless wars throughout the years
Neji didn't need to die for naruto and hinata to get closer, honestly, i feel like it would have been more impactful if Hiashi died and would have been more impactful not just for hinata, but for nejis story arc as well. Neji and hinata both jump in fornt to save naruto, but Hiashi saves them from the death blows, neji is hurt, but its not lethally so and its put him out of battle. so naruto and hinata can still do the hand hold. Hiashi sacrificeing himself for the daughter he saw no hope in, the nephew who resented him (even if the was addressed in part 1) and the boy he saw as a disgrace. i think it would be very impactful to show how much the hyuuga has changed, where its not just duty due to being mainbranch or side branch , but a diffrent kind a of duty, because they are family. And protecting the "king" which is the next generation.I felt like it was very off brand to the story for neji to die like that.
I'd add some icing on top of that. By Hiashi sacrificing himself for Neji, the caged bird seal is activated but in a different way. The seal disappears suddenly and the Byakugan evolves and the very exhausted Neji is given a boost. Naruto doesn't know Hiashi that well but he sees that Hinata is distraught. Naruto and Hinata bond more after the battle is over as he comforts Hinata over the loss of her father, even if their relationship was troubled. In the aftermath, Hinata and Hanabi set up an election within the clan (really persuade the rest of the clan to choose Neji) so that he can be head like he wanted and they can both be free.
I was sad when Neji died because I shipped him and Tenten. They shared a mutual personality and had good chemistry/understanding. I feel like Tenten was Neji's right hand. He always showed more concern over Tenten when in battle. Tenten also seemed to think highly of Neji and visit him during the Chunin exams when he got injured. They both trained together as kids. Neji protected Tenten as a priority over anything else, such as the Chunin exam as young adults where Neji protected Tenten from knives being thrown at her with his comment on him having priorities after Tenten commented whether he was going to stop the fight. He also made sure Tenten was ok when the trio were locked by the prison jutsu by Kisame. Lee didn't show any romance/chemistry with Tenten despite being on the same team unlike Neji who grabbed her when she fell out of the water prison and asked if she was ok. Tenten on the otherhand was saddened when Neji and angry he left her. Her dream also had her friends in a way she wished all of them to be a little more of. She appears to have wanted Neji to be more open with his feelings. During the wedding, she fantasized about marriage while being single when we know she would have ended up with Neji.

Outside of Naruto's generation, one of the funniest thing to me that happened was Kakashi's crushes. First of all, Hanare, no matter what anyone tells me, I am convinced that Kakashi had a huge crush on her. And then she turned out to be a criminal. And then again, in Kakashi Hiden, he started crushing on Kahyo, he literally said, "the woman who had his heart" and she also turned out to be a criminal. Kakashi probably has a type 😂 😂
People give Naruto too much credit for the Harem Jutsu, Kakashi just had to lower his mask to subdue Kaguya. She might even have given a second go at a human husband, and siding with the earthlings against an attack from her own race.
In my head canon choji and ino always looked like they were gonna be a thing. She learned not to be so shallow minded when it came to him and she pushed him to be more assertive it was like they balanced each other out. Sakura and Lee definitely should’ve been the ship. They could’ve had sasuke return to the village with a child a la Ging from Hunter x Hunter and we could’ve had a whole who’s the mom mystery thing going on.

Fucking thank yooooooou. I enjoyed the whole video but Sakura and Lee not ending up together always felt like a huge missed opportunity! The two compliment each other so well narratively and they had a mutual respect thing going for each other as the characters developed. I mean just think about it, you’re Sakura - you’ve grown as a person, you’ve got this (absolutely shredded) hardworking dude you know who you’ve worked with since you were kids who’s also grown as a person. He’s always treated you with respect and even though when he was an awkward pre-teen he was a little over the top with his declarations of affection, he never tried to like, FORCE you to like him. Something clicks when you realize that he’d never just leave you alone all the time like Sasuke - a person you’ve grown out of liking because like - that’s what people do as they grow up. You can make peace with Sasuke as a friend eventually, but there’s a much better option for romance - and it’s the shredded, kindhearted, taijutsu master with a choppy bowl cut and a great smile. Would’ve been the GOAT of couples.

Shout out to Lady Tsunade for setting the stage for Temari and Shikimaru to get together. always having them work together whenever Temari was in the village. My head canon is that she was trying to ensure the peace between the sand and leaf for future generations. Having one of the top sand shinobi getting with a top leaf official just works too well. I think his character could've done well if he found a love interest that isn't an enemy for once. He's kind of like Gaara in that bad luck of love ordeal
@@Elis_Nagar I feel like (at least in the anime) it showed kakashi and Iruka having some underlying bad blood. Possibly from the mission that Iruka decided to become an instructor I'm not sure, but they definitely had some beef
Also biologically speaking since Hiashi and Hizashi are identical twins that means that Hinata and Neji are Half-Brother and Sister, their dad's DNA is identical, the only thing separating them biologically is their mothers, so that would be way too close to continue the bloodline with.
@@JAYDOG1337A It's not me you have to convince. They're legally first cousins, first cousins marrying, while not common anymore, is still legal in Japan. Oddly enough it's still legal in most of the world today. Including 2/3rds of the Americas. Not too sure why though.
@@juliancain3872 technically someone could say there's no way to prove that one of their mothers didn't cheat with the twin of their husband, so they could be said to be actual half-brother and sister, which would make it illegal
I don't mind at all, as long as I can debate who deserves Lee more, Gaara or Sakura. In my heart, as much as I love this ship too, Sakura doesn't deserve such a kind devoted soul like Lee. If anything, they would work as friends to me. Gaara, on the other hand? Oh, how my heart sours❤. Lee is one of the kindest souls ever. He was willing to forgive the boy who hurt him, and Gaara went out of his way to save him as the first step in his turnaround arc after Naruto chucked him with his therapy speech. If anyone deserves Lee, it should be the boy who put in the effort to treat him better despite their uncomfortable first meeting and is willing to be his friend after he got a taste of humanity..
Something you didn't mention when talking about a potential relationship between Sakura and Rock Lee is her mastery of chakra control, she could try to teach Lee or their child to have a better/perfect chakra control, making them FAR stronger than they could ever be without it.
I always thought that TenTen and Kankuro would make a good match, they both have a similar specialty in weapons over elemental techniques, they're both the bronze medal when it comes to team popularity, and I feel they'd be able to sass each other in an adorable way if given the chance
TenTen and Kankuro were my second pick for TenTen. First is TenTen and Sasuke after TenTenxNeji doesn't work out since Neji's dead. It would have been cool if TenTen went single to the start of Boruto and Sasuke does as well but then later circumstances allows them to get together.
Hell yes, I always thought that Tenten and Kankuro would be a better couple, based on their specialties and personalities, she wouldn’t need to be watered down to suit Kankuro’s personality, because they’re both comical personalities, where Neji is too traditional for a modern woman like Tenten, and she’d always be in his shadows, being diluted to being like Hinata, just so shippers can pair her with Neji. Kankuro just works, but that’s just me.
And by Shippuden they both use scrolls. In one of the Ninja Storm games Tenten actually uses chakra threads to move a giant flail ball as her ultimate jutsu so she possibly uses threads as well. Their kid could be pretty powerful with all kinds of weapons, puppets, poison, threads. Maybe not in your face power but definitely tactical and versatile with the sheer number of things they have stored in scrolls.
A couple of years ago I got really into the Shino x Tenten ship. It really was just an example of the "pair the spares" trope, but it has a surpriseing number of fans as well as some really good stories on FanFiction and AO3. But now that you mention it, Shino would be the type to be attracted to an older woman. The shock his friends would feel when he lands the Mizukage of all people.
Tbh I prefer sasuke to end up with a random woman he meet during his time away from the village after the war considering he is always away from konoha thus having someone who she can bring along his adventure will be a more interesting love story for him
Yeah as Sasuke deserved somebody, just so the Uchiha wouldn't die off with him. Though honestly I blame Boruto and deciding the main team needed Daddy issues why Sasuke experienced no character growth upon having a child.
I really loved that Shino decided he wanted to pass on knowledge to the next generation instead of hunting it out himself, it really fit his character, Shino always gave me the vibe of someone who doesn't really like to fight, and with the villages in peace time, there would be a much smaller need for reconnaissance. And, considering that like, half of the Konoha twelve has abilities that lend themselves pretty well to that end, it makes sense for one of the more pacifistic(using that word VERY lightly lol) to become a teacher.
Shino is strong af he's one of the only aburame capable of handling there most advanced deadliest bugs every but he denied the chance saying its too much and it doesn't fit him since they're so deadly. Like a dude saying no to a gun and just besting the hell out of everyone
That's my favorite part of his character though, he's strong enough to control the Aburame clan's most deadly insects but do you know why he doesn't? He doesn't agree, to use them would be to go against his principles. People grow and change and Shino only got more and more gentle the older he got. I love that for him 🥰
Doesn’t like to fight?? He literally tracked Kankuro down after he forfeit the chunnin exams not even for the sake of a mission but purely for smoke…and he was pissed off when they didn’t take him on the Sasuke retrieval mission, Shino bout that life lol
i love that you give the aburames so much love. i feel so seen and understood after telling people for years about the insanely under-utilised potential of their clan with shino in particular.
I thought you were gonna announce that you're an aburame and you have had 117,092 bugs living inside of you ever since you were 5 when your parents experimented on you for a second there.
Love the idea of Kiba x Kankuro, but your description of Lee x Sakura gave me an idea for their getting together. Imagine Lee training to unlock the seventh gate and getting hurt (not as badly as w/ Gaara, but still roughed up) and Sakura patches him up with medical ninjutsu. At this point she's moved on from Sasuke but hasn't felt ready for love, but as she helps Lee get back on his feet and work his way up to the seventh gate she starts to fall for his determination and unique charm.
Ew and unrealistic. kiba is girl crazy. He likes women and not interested in Kankuro. Also those two don't really interact. Kiba won't leave his clan/dog. I don't see how Temari and Kankuro would leave Gaara alone in the sand village.
@@HardCoverJacketliterally not unrealistic and in facts makes the most sense. Their Jutsus compliment and almost mimick each others AND they had a whole team up.
I thought Hinata should've moved on like Naruto did about Sakura. I really wanted to see her step into her independence and power. Instead she dropped everything to be a housewife and it just felt like a waste of her whole arc and cool powers.
You dont forget someone who stepped up for you he wasn't just a love interest he was a friend and a role model and not just for her but for many people not me tho still she's a pacifist who was pressured and forced to be a fighter for her clan forced to be married off to some other clan member how the fuck doesn't it make sense she has a peaceful life now you wanted more fights action violence that's not who she is she isn't fit to be a ninja
How is her getting the thing she always wanted a loss of her independence and power? The comparison to Sakura is wierd, Naruto was always kind and supportive to Hinata, he valued her, and she inspired him at multiple points in his journey to be better, as he did for her. The chunin exams, the pain arc and the a war arc they helped each other be better versions of themselvesm. They both brought out the best in each other, that is relationship goals right there if you ask me.
I like Hinata and Naruto together, but the lack of development between their relationship throughout the series is what made me believe they shouldn't have ended up together at the end. A two hour movie does not make up for a lack of 10 years of development. I also didn't like how they wrote of Naruto's crush on Sakura as just a competition against Sasuke.
I always thought the reason why Sasuke marry Sakura was because his guilt. He felt guilty about everything he done and he atone it by marry Sakura. He literally never showed any interest in Sakura at all. Even in the moment when he forgot about his revenge.
Meh. While I agree that he never showed any interest in Sakura, he did always have a goal that would have been aided by marriage: Rebuilding his clan. Dude wants to have kids, not necessarily because he has a paternal urge, but because he doesn't want to be the last and only Uchiha.
Y’all just haven’t watched Naruto or read the manga because he did in fact show interest in Sakura. I mean he was the only one to notice Sakura wasn’t acting the same and was depressed so he cheered her up AND praised her skills in front of everyone during chunin exam. Not Naruto. Sasuke did this. And he never stabbed her idk what this guy is talking about. He tried after SHE TRIED TO KILL HIM FIRST. second, the time he did “stab” her was a genjutsu so she wouldn’t get in the way of his fight with Naruto (aka protecting her from getting harmed). He never really treated her badly because he was always mentally unstable and blinded by revenge, everyone seems to forget this. It’s not his fault. Their relationship is actually healthy post war. They communicate without talking, support each other, he praised his wife’s strength constantly to everyone, would do anything for his daughter, almost went crazy when he thought Sakura was dead and crushed by rocks, etc. they had more chemistry than ANY ship in Naruto but y’all are too blind to see this because of your incel hatred towards Sakura and refusal to see past sasuke being emotionally gaslit and scarred by his brother.
@@margioon You keep throwing around the word incel like you know what it means. “She tried to kill him” Oh and that makes their relationship justified? That makes it ok? No self respecting person would constantly pine for someone like that. Naruto praised Sakura as well. What makes Sasuke different from Naruto? We’re talking about the 700 manga chapter here not the OOC novels or Boruto
As a character who's highly ace/aro coded, I prefer the idea of Shino being alone to coming up with a hidden reason why he's never shown interest in a relationship. That just feels like erasure to me. I am, on the other hand, very open to the idea of several different options for close platonic friendships with him that you just never see. Kankuro, Tenten, and even Sasuke are prime candidates for the low-key bromances that I see working for Shino, and I have put thought to all of those.
It bothers me to no end how conceptually broken the self harming 8 gates and the self healing 100 Healings seal would be together. I've been watching the OG lately and I noticed how the basic setup for Sakura going down that route ultimately was put down. Then Lee got put on a bench in favor of Guy (not entirely a bad thing) and Sakura never interacted with either of them in a meaningful way. She could have had a game breaker power and a respectful conclusion to her character arc but just couldn't let go of a middle school crush that led to an abusive relationship and being a single mom.

I think its funny that Sai's 1st compliment to Ino was because he learn from getting hit by Sakura that you shouldn't say exactly what you mean, so he said the opposite which in turn made Ino's heart flutter
Look for a note able trait... Look for a notable trait... Ah, she's ugly, wait that's a insult, uhhh screw it just say the opposite It worked phenomenally

I was always a NaruSaku type but they were deft second choice. Lee is just so GOOD, he smokes Sasuke in every way that matters. And thematically those two would have been a union of two regular non super special awesome bloodline/demon/reincarnation people that rose above on hard work and dedication and that would have been a great dynamic.
@@ChesireWaltz I respect your opinion but I don’t think so at all bec sakura had always loved sasuke never showed any signs about liking someone else except a lil bit to only naruto if this ship happened it won’t make sense at all it will only increase sakura’s hate that she’s also a player
Sasuke and Naruto had more chemistry, development, and progression than either of them had with their eventual romantic partners. (If you can even call it that with Sakura and Sasuke.) That's not me being a yaoi fan girl. It's just me being like Kishimoto does not understand romance. He did not take the time to make the relationships with their female partners feel believable, especially not with Sakura and Sasuke.
@@Xaforn But there's a difference between something being completely ignored and something being earned. Sasuke and Sakura have like two conversations without Naruto, then they talk like one on one when she tries to kill him, once when he tries to kill her twice, and then he fucks off and then the next thing we're being fed is that Sasuke loved her all long. Like come on. I may not like how Hinata and Naruto got together but there was at least SOMETHING attempted to layer them being together. Sasuke and Sakura get none of that.
That was my problem waaaaaay back in the day with YuGiOh! The female characters don't get a lot of character and relationship development, so when there is a moment that makes you want to ship people, it's with two dudes. The main two dudes. The female characters might as well be cardboard. And what didn't help Naruto and Sasuke was the fact that they kissed once. If this were any other show, they would end up together. It felt like Kishimoto did it as a joke and thrn once enough people took it seriously, he started to try and back pedal. And again, same thing with YuGiOh! The ships that are the strongest from that show are to do with the guys that get the screentime. You can make the girls as beautiful or kind or whatever, but that's one facet of a person. We see a million sides to our guy characters so it is easier to see a fully formed realtionship between the two of thrm then one of them with the big boobied kind-hearted lady. So I think at the end of it all, Kishimoto has no one yo blame but himself for the SasuNaru shippers. The plot devices and tropes he laid out were leading people there, then when he changed his mind he didn't put enough time into those other characters and relationships to make them as sensational as SasuNaru. But then again, fans are ravenous and will ship anyone with everyone, so what do I know. 😅
@@sophieamandaleitontoomey9343 I mean Sasuke loved Sakura always, i don't think it was romantic but for example when Naruto and Sasuke fights against Gaara Sasuke told Naruto that he doesn't want an important close friend to die meaning Sakura was trapped by Gaara, and when he thinks about staying or leaving the village Naruto and Sakura is on his mind showing us he cared for her and she was a close person to him before he left. I agree that Kishimoto should have done a better work with these two in Sippuuden and after the war, like make a short series on how they actually get together or something
@@lilifonyad8657 Saying "Sasuke always loved Sakura" without really scenes or otherwise to back it up is not good enough. It's not enough to say that and not show it. It's not like Sakura and Sasuke couldn't have worked but you have to earn it. There is like one scene before he leaves where I'm like "okay. there could have been potential here." But other than that, there is BARELY anything that supports a change in Sasuke's feelings for Sakura and it is even worse in Shippudden when he tries to kill her twice.
The thing about the main canon Naruto couples was: I actually shipped NaruHina and SasuSaku when I started Naruto. When I was TWELVE yes, back then the anime was just up to Jiraiya’s death in Shippuuden! I feel that back then, the two ships actually made sense...but strangely enough, the “character development” was what pulled them apart. NaruHina - I feel like young Naruto liked strong, independent women (yes, like his mom) which was why he was so drawn to Sakura back then. Hinata was the shy, awkward girl, but what should’ve happened in this narrative is - she comes out of her shell and stand up for what she believes in. Which DID happen, during the Chunin exams vs Neji, then the Pain battle where she almost died defending Naruto. Naruto noticed her both times BUT Kishi failed to follow up with that, and Hinata’s character was back to square one. Then The Last Movie sealed my hatred for the couple when they retconned the childhood memories, made Hinata into a Mary sue princess, and ignored all the other Konoha 12 who should’ve shined in the final movie. For SasuSaku - I think young Sakura (and Ino) liked Sasuke in the academy because on the surface level, he was the cool, straight A student. Hence why she made the mistake of calling out Naruto for being an orphan, and made Sasuke pissed. I think her story should’ve been her learning to love and support the Sasuke who was flawed and confused from his trauma, which I think was well done when she helped him calm down in the Chunin exam when he got the cursed mark. But in the end when Sasuke left the village and later was branded a criminal, it was Sakura who wanted to “kill” him, instead to trying to understand or help him like Naruto did. Which is why the older me feels that her feelings hold no candle to Naruto’s feelings for Sasuke. As for Sasuke himself, I can see him having a normal relationship in the original Naruto, but he was so far gone with hatred and revenge in the later half of Shippuden that I think no romance entered his head at all, the only person he remotely cared about was Naruto. Nobody else had a chance, not even Karin who was the girl closest to him, whom he used like a tool. Anyway, I’m all past all that now, I find that I’d rather ship a gay couple that had chemistry in a show than whatever stale ship canon gives me. Hence why a decade later, I came to realize NaruSasu was the superior ship lmfao.
Lmao. I read the whole thing and I agree. I like Naruto and Hinata but kishimoto failed to convinced me. Until the last moment, I think naruto still have feelings for sakura which hinders the ship for me. Sasuke and Sakura . It feels weird and awkward to me. Does sasuke even love sakura? Even their Daughter is not convinced lmao
Agreed. If you rewatch/read the whole series there's stuff between them that would make them a great couple. And for the people who hates LGBT if you changed naruto or sasuke into a female 100% their chemistry with each other would have made you wish they were a couple.
@@meikisaragi1445 tons of people say that sasuke and sakura's ship began to blossom in sasuke's light novel which I believe was based on after shippuden. I don't read light novel's but the hardcore fans of sasuke and sakura keep yelling at people to read it.
i don't know if it's fair to blame sakura for things she didn't know or didn't understand. if anything, she was way more forgiving and understanding of sasuke than he deserved. when he left the village she wanted him to open up but he wouln't let anyone in. i mean he didn't have to tell her, but at least she tried. later on in shippuden she wasn't aware of the bigger picture so it was obviously gonna be hard for her to understand sasuke completely however she was one of the few people who never really gave up on him, she always had hope.
100% agree. I loved Hinata and how obsessed she was when I was little, like 10-11 years old. I had a weird idea of love and thought pining after someone is love. Now that I’m 25, true love is Naruto and Sasuke. Naruto sacrificed so much to bring Sasuke back, and Sasuke only cared about Naruto in the end. I could write a book about it. So at 25 years old, even though they are not together, Sasuke and Naruto’s relationship is what I strive for now, rather than Sakura’s love for Sasuke or Hinata’s for Naruto. Seems deeper than the surface.
I remember watching all the fillers and then being surprised why Naruto didn’t know shino after multiple missions and why Shino was suddenly so weak compared to his pears given he was one of the strongest pre time skip
When was Shino weak on Shippuden? Dude barely had screen time in part 2 even with filler. And Shino covering his face was why Naruto didn’t recognize him 3 years later.
@@clouddavis he had some missions and Naruto could not even remember his name after being reminded multiple times. He isn’t super weak in Shipuden, but in OG he was one of the strongest of his age and in Shipuden he was around tenten level or probably even lower given her feats in the war arc with hagoromos weapons
Naruto and Shino were never that close, Naruto in the Ninja Academy only hang out with Shikamaru,Choji and Kiba. But in the most part of his childhood life he was alone.
Shino being one of the strongest pre time-skip and OG Naruto and then suddenly the weakest during Boruto was probably because, maybe that's all there is to his jutsu. Maybe he has reached the peak effectivity and power level of his jutsu earlier than most, while the others are still struggling with training.
Sai and Ino happened because of that one scene where Sai complimented her early in Part 2 and Ino was pretty clearly attracted to him. Also damn, Shino gets Mei. Finally something goes good for that man.
But can we Talk about Kakashi and Iruka, the way they act together is almost exactly like those cliche ''two single guys, they both take care of the same small child, they are also so sweet to eachother, and perfectly adorable, amazing and delectable and they have so many cute moments that you wonder why the fuck is this NOT a thing again?''
I always thought a good pairing for Gaara was Matsuri. Before Kishimoto completely turned her into a Gaara fan girl she was the first person in the Hidden Sand (excluding his family and sensei) to accept him and was willing to be his student even knowing his reputation. She also had a steady relationship with him because he was her teacher for a while
THIS! I found the suggestion of Gaara and Maki kinda weird because they never had ANY imteraction. But Gaara and Matsuri did have interaction and a steadily growing friendship all the way up to the war.
Gaara is so not interested in this whole thing and I'll forever see him as somewhere on the aromantic and asexual spectrum. He has his connections and just doesn't need a romantic partner.
Okay, the Karin/ Sasuke Child would have been able to get the Rin'nengan, just so you know. Uzumaki share the Senju gen and Uchiha/Senju line enables the Rin'nengan. Just like Madara did and how Nagato was able to wield it. That child would have been bonkers
isn't the uzumaki are part senju stuff fanon? even so wasn't it specifically indra and ashura that made the rinnengan possible not just mixing senju and uchiha in general
@@pancakeandwaffle4849 Nope, it's not fannon. I forgot the page and chapter, but it's in the back story. Indra and Ashura Chakra is needed, but the Uchiha/ Senju line give the body which is needed for it. Like Kakashi can't handle his Sharigan, or Ao his Byakugan because they're not of clan, a inferior body can't handle the power. The Chakra of them is needed to evolve it. But we have seen many ways to make it happen, so... Uchiha/ Senju enables the Rin'negan 😅
@@Nikuthebigboss sorry it's hard to tell canon from fanon these days without specific page number like minato secretly being a senju fanon. Shikatema is easily the most/best written relationship. Since the chunin exams, they were hinted at being together. Like during thr sasuke rescue mission, she showed sympathy to him, the first one we saw her being soft to. Then the first episodes of the 2 y time skip, shikamaru seemed to return those feelings ever since they helped each other out when they were about to die. Tsunade seemed to always put them together whenever temari came to the village. shikamaru and temari were both main proctors to the chunin exams. Shikamaru was always the one who was her escort, something he would easily turn down, but never did. Gee i wonder why 😏. Naruto was also curious about them asking them if they were on a date (NARUTO SAID IT HERE FIRST). He also woke up early to see her off, something he would never do for another, (not even naruto lol). Again, another hint that was shown, was when temari's childhood friend, daimaru, was reanimated and showed romantic feelings towards her. She rejected him, but matsuri and yukata behind her said she already liked someone and in the japanese dub, yukata said it was a "intelligent guy" to which temari quickly rejected. Then during shikamarus infinite tsukuyomi dream, he was shown talking about marrige, and said he would "pass" on it, and temari was standing behind him, agreeing. Some good foreshadowing you got there kishimoto. a bonus, during a chibi episode, tenten and temari were fighting a rematch, and shikatema came up. In one of the pictures, there was shikamaru and temari, along with who seemed to be shikadai and another child, a girl. More foreshadowing 🤔 I could go on on and about this lol 😭
I am going to be honest the Sakura X Lee ship is the only ship I have ever been upset about it not happening. Mostly because it was teed up so perfectly, all you would need is to have Lee sacrifice himself to save Sakura during the Pain fight and this action making Sakura realize she has feeling for him and goes berserk at his lose. The ball was there it just need a swing.
I actually shipped Ino and Choi, bc they contrasted each other so much but still respected each other and worked so well as a team. And they had some scenes together that seemed like hint to me, one could have built up on those perfectly.
I shipped Ino and Chouji a lot too. I think the problem was that they needed 3 people for the new InoShikaCho and also having a mixed race character in Boruto was a goal.
I’ve never read the Naruto light novels, so I didn’t know Gaara had a love interest, that didn’t work out. I always head cannoned him as being either asexual, or aromantic. Because he never got with anyone, and he ended up adopting a kid, instead of having one of his own with a unknown mother, like rock lee and metal lee. He was also my favorite character growing up, and I’m asexual myself ,so I feel like their was a reason I liked his character so much.
I think it was more that the Hidden Sand elders wanted him to get married so they have an heir in the Kazekage clan moreso then Gaara being in love himself.
@@cuthip especially with the princes that went and got married to a foriqner, it's mentioned that they are afraid that should something happen to gaara, with kankoro apparently being sidelined due to him not having kids, temari would inherit but if she where to pass then a leaf ninja would optain the title of kazekage (it's given down as an monarchy)
Ino x Sai is actually my favorite couple in the series, which I was not expecting. They actually work well together and seem to have a lot of love, respect, depth and affection in their relationship. They have a better love story than Shikamaru and Temari in my opinion. Also, crop tops!
Kiba and Kankuro makes a suprising amount of sense, that's a really fun idea for a ship. Also, I can see your idea of Kankuro learning from Akamaru and Kiba leading to a combination of their techniques. I'm picturing some kind of gear the dog nin can wear that allows their human partners to connect with them, track them, and share jutsu normally only human nin could do. (And occassionally use a puppet technique like the one used on Sakura)
Aside from Temari/Shikamaru; I don't think any of the other couples were really developed. Almost all the others were one-sided at most through the series. I agree with you 100% Sakura & Sasuke. We could've at least seen some attempts of Sasuke acknowledging what he did and putting in a lot of work to redeem himself to Sakura. We could've had her rejecting him and making him struggle to earn back her feellings. Instead, we got nothing. He was imprisoned then went on his redemption mission. Was in Konoha just enough to impregnate Sakura but then gone enough that Sakura was effectively a single mother. Even if Sakura said she only liked Lee as a friend, I feel like that relation would've been easier to justify. With her own mother and people like Tsunade and Shizune around (even the other girls like Ino and Temari), I feel like someone would've tried to point out Sasuke, at that time, was not a good choice. (AI also would find it hilarious that Sakura would have a teacher who is a tremendous drunk and a husband who is a destructive drunk)
Imagine telling a girl she’s annoying then begs she begs for you to stay in the leaf village then you almost kill her and try to win her back. That makes no sense
The only thing about couples that Kishimoto got It COMPLETELY right is no couples between InoShikaCho. Now you can say "Oh, but they are only friends, that would never happen". But, seriously, HOW MANY TIME the trope of one girl in a group with two guys ends up with one of them has been used? There are romcoms literally based only in this principal. And COME ON, I only have to talk about Hermione to make my point. The fact that InoShikaCho grew up together, and Don't be fooled, they would do anything for one another, but Don't have nothing romantic about them is the best thing in the category that Kishimoto has done. And even in Boruto, Chocho talis about It, but Inojin and Shikadai are like brothers to her.
“Why did Sasuke get with Sakura? He should’ve gotten with Karin.” No. He should’ve gotten with Naruto. He has way more chemistry with him than either Sakura or Karin.
One girl that I shipped Gaara with for a while was Matsuri. In canon, she's a bit more of a side character, but if you watched ALL of the Naruto filler (before Shippuden) she's actually a significant character in episodes 216-220, and I really loved Gaara and Matsuri's dynamic during it.
Yes! I swear everyone forgot about Yukata, Matsuri, and Sari. They had great admiration for Gaara, but Matsuri was clearly interested and could have been a good match for him, if Kishi wanted to give him a love interest. It's sad that she got tossed into the garbage bin (not the side - because she was a already a side character) lol
10:30 regarding Metal's mother...he referred to Kurotsuchi as "big sister" when the Kage were arriving for the first summit. Could his mom be from the hidden stone? he even has their eye pattern
not necessarily. I think it's more common for people in Japan to refer to people like that, so you see that in anime. Think of Nina calling Edward "Big Brother Ed" in Fullmetal Alchemist
I always thought of Shino as asexual but him being into older woman is maybe even more fitting and awesome. I'd ship it. And of course, Kiba and Kankuro. I shipped those since childhood.
Ngl, Shino feeling alienated from his peers during childhood/youth and developing a thing for older women really makes sense. Also him having a teenage crush on Kurenai and being really self-aware about it would be hilarious.
@@xalkieran hell I'd take a milf rn out of loneliness. *Sasuke and Naruto should've ended up with eachother* based on I don't know, their development, screen time, chemistry, the fact that the plot revolves them, the fact that they are soulmates (not brothers), the fact that Sasuke was never interested in anything female, the fact that Naruto has poor taste in anything female and has more meaningful relationships with guys, the fact that Naruto and Sasuke have at best mid relationships with ANY of their potential romantic fem or man (both canon, crack, are you insane ew or almost canon), they kissed twice (more than with their wives) that fact that they are eachothers most important person (again above and beyond their wives and any other potential partners including Gaara for Naruto) shared trauma and of course as this video factually states *They're ALREADY dating* 👌😂🤣 good one
Also at the end of their final battle, when they blow off each other's arms, the blood literally forms a heart. I for sure thought they'd be an end of series couple after seeing that
They also probably meet on some mountain once a month or so for some romantic get away after the events of the manga and before Boruto happens. I mean Sasuke keeps in closer contact with Naruto than both his wife and own goddamn daughter he wanted to much. Please that dude is just not that interested in the hetero life and I get it me too honey. 😂
@@antonbrown17 it looks like a heart and like they are holding hands. If one of them had been female this 100% would have been the end goal couple and nobody can tell me otherwise. There are so many tropes in that relationship that are also often used for more dramatic love stories it's not even funny anymore.
@@willyetter6246 I did watch the video to it’s entirety…it seems like you didn’t or didn’t comprehend it: he literally states after every couple the powers of their CHILDREN. It's nice to hear InoxSai got some development in the light novel, but frankly I don't need it to justify them, because they are some of the few characters that work on a motivation and characterization level. Ino's whole thing is embodying the bush clover, being proud of who she is, and being warm and friendly. Sai on the other hand, wants to reconnect with his humanity and make a lot of friends. Not only is Ino in a prime position to benefit Sai, she is also very much the type to enjoy being in the position of helping him despite how hard that must be (call it a heroine complex if you want), as we see both with how she helps Sakura when they meet and the fact she has a crush on Sasuke, the clearly troubled child (I can fix him). And they can share their crop tops. Tbh I think Naruto and Hinata share this distinction, but it isn't portrayed well and their lack of development is less forgivable as he is the main character. Still, Naruto wants to be recognized for his efforts, and Hinata does that before ANYONE else. He just doesn't know that because she's shy, which Kishi probably thought was funny. Meanwhile we all know why Hinata admires Naruto and how he inspired her.
I loved the idea of Ino and Shikamaru, and for those who are worried about the 3 clans combo move just have them have twins that specialize in the the two separate moves.
But Shika Tama is so gooood! I get it but I am biased on stories with characters not getting together with their best friends/neighbors cause thats so boring and predictable.
Gaara deserves love but I also love the idea of him being a single father with a bunch of adopted children who all mean the world to him
He reads as someone who is not interested in the romantic type of love but still has a lot of love to give. Which is why I also like exactly how he ended up in the story with all of the kids and his friends.

That being said, if we have to get serious, I really don’t like is that most of these have no development whatsoever, and in the case of SasuSaku ESPECIALLY it’s hard to believe in them for so many reasons.
You said it.. I totally agree.. on all accounts.. especially with Miroku and Sango.. definitely see that..

I was surprised they didn’t just have a couple new characters as spouses. Most people don’t know their spouse growing up. Would not of been a shocker.
Omg I died with the kibaship
To be fair, the Naruto world has been separated into nations and villages since back in Hashirama's day. MOST people in the Leaf got married to another Leaf villager, as most people don't/can't move out of the village. So Naruto's classmates getting married to someone they know makes sense. The only exception being Shikamaru and Temari, and only because the Leaf and Sand are allies.
Statistically its the exact opposite. Most people have met their future spouse by 18.
Let's be real here: the only people Sasuke and Naruto had chemistry with were each other

Naruto and Ino had a lot of chemistry, both had a crush on someone not interested in them, both protected others from bullies, both loved plants and gardened as a hobby, both wanted to bring everyone together, both were loud and extraverted, etc

I thought it was bs

I mean it doesn't make sense with the fillers that show kid naruto liking hinata cooking for example but then he wants sakura romantically at age 12 mind you....but also it shows girl mature faster and being hell bent on 1 person as a male from day 1 when she disrespects you hates how pervy you are and likes someone else is not healthy and also hinata earned naruto...I think naruto eventually falling for hinata after pain and the war makes sense because neji died for them but the 2 year timeskip was kind odd.....but yes in the movie it was contrived for fanservice because boruto was not going to get popular in the west without a movie to show when naruto and hinata got together since in the manga its skipped over and thrown at the very end in a epilogue and not one person felt naruto loved hinata back...the light novels which kishi approved fixed the sakura sasuke stuff but again ignored the hinata naruto bond for some reason because kishi doesnt get romance so ty tokyo staff has to fix retcon it all...they literally left it in a movie that many didnt see..most people skip fillers....the manga is very condensed and until the war barley has hinata and naruto interact since the invasion of the sand moment in part 1.......even in the manga the pain moment is much smaller than the anime made it....even in the war outside of 4 moments naruto forgets she exists and he still hits on sakura in front of minato because she's like kushina
Naruto and Hinata: *hold hands*
*several episodes later*
Minato: *looks at Sakura* Is she your girlfriend?
Naruto: YES!
NO CONSISTENCY
Thank you! People always forget about that one!
I mean, Kushina wanted a wife for naruto like herself :D Sakura would have been the best option :D
Either way, it was really annoying seeing the occasional shipping tease knowing they weren't gonna amount to nothing but pointless wars throughout the years
@@yuosen8419 Hinata is more like Kushina than Sakura overall. I'll say Kushina is 60% Hinata and 40% Sakura.
I actually really like this solution. You're so big brained
Wouldn't really work as well considering Naruto doesn't know who that is. Probably should have been iruka instead.
In the aftermath, Hinata and Hanabi set up an election within the clan (really persuade the rest of the clan to choose Neji) so that he can be head like he wanted and they can both be free.
or kishimoto could just write a decent plot bridging the two together without involving anyone DYING
Yeah but, that would just come out of nowhere considering Hiashi never fought in the war.
Sakura starting to love herself and break up with sasuke could still be a great character development and Comeback
if it had happened before boruto started sure but now with her having a kid with sasuke the fandom would probably hate her even more
Agree
And that's when Naruto would've truly fallen in love with her, because she's not lying to herself anymore. Such a wasted development there.

@@playathesaints9599 probably would've been a better relationship since TenTen wouldn't mindlessly take Sasuke's shit cuz of a childhood crush
@@planetchelliwood not just you, I agree 100%

Part 1 shino was bloodlusted. Even changed the sand siblings to fight the puppet guy. Part 2 I agree tho.
That's my favorite part of his character though, he's strong enough to control the Aburame clan's most deadly insects but do you know why he doesn't? He doesn't agree, to use them would be to go against his principles. People grow and change and Shino only got more and more gentle the older he got. I love that for him 🥰

I didn’t like how they wrote that either
I always thought the reason why Sasuke marry Sakura was because his guilt. He felt guilty about everything he done and he atone it by marry Sakura. He literally never showed any interest in Sakura at all. Even in the moment when he forgot about his revenge.
Thats make sense. Sakura it is a punishment 😂
He knew Sakura would be the only one who would tolerate his ass.

"And I know I didn't bring up Sasuke and Naruto as a relationship but let's be real, their already dating" 😂❤that got me good! ❤

@@RNgamervideos Never Said they were close but they did missions together. It was just filler not canon but when I first watched it I was surprised
Saved KankuKiba for the end…a man of taste

I think that couple would be so weird. This would be like a teacher/student relationship and just wouldn't feel right...

“That child would be might guy on steroids” Had me rolling on the floor 🤣
Okay, the Karin/ Sasuke Child would have been able to get the Rin'nengan, just so you know. Uzumaki share the Senju gen and Uchiha/Senju line enables the Rin'nengan. Just like Madara did and how Nagato was able to wield it. That child would have been bonkers
Dont worry we still got sarada x boruto, which is gonna be even stronger cuz there is a lil bit of hyuga there aswell
isn't the uzumaki are part senju stuff fanon? even so wasn't it specifically indra and ashura that made the rinnengan possible not just mixing senju and uchiha in general
Fair, the series keeps saying you have 1 way to get a specific power then gave us like 10 others, i personally have seen nothing boruto and i'm not interested in the alien stuff so anything that happens there is also lost to me
@@pancakeandwaffle4849 No hard feelings! I get it, if it helps: I do not consider Boruto Canon to the Naruto Main Line. It's like a weird fever dream of Naruto for me. As a die hard fan I can't accept Boruto. The idea yes, but not the execution of it 😅
Shikatema is easily the most/best written relationship.
More foreshadowing 🤔
I could go on on and about this lol 😭
Sasuke’s love language is throwing hands 😂😂 he attacked his brother, his best friends… HIS DAUGHTER😂😂😂
It would easily mirrors Judeau's death on Berserk during the Eclipse protecting Casca!
"Look me in the eye and tell me Shino wouldn't be into older women"
The way I SCREAMED-
BUT LIKE THAT MADE ME REALIZE HE LOOKS LIKE HE WOULD BE THO
I actually shipped Ino and Choi, bc they contrasted each other so much but still respected each other and worked so well as a team. And they had some scenes together that seemed like hint to me, one could have built up on those perfectly.
I shipped Ino and Chouji a lot too. I think the problem was that they needed 3 people for the new InoShikaCho and also having a mixed race character in Boruto was a goal.
Fuu... Really? Ino just a kind person, she respects Choji as friend. Some Sakura would hit him in the face.
"How did you destroy this ?!?! " my daily conversations with my dog
Same He is also my fav character! 😂😊
Yeah, he only wanted to get married as atradition but she loved someone else, i think he is asexual, hes also my fave
I think it was more that the Hidden Sand elders wanted him to get married so they have an heir in the Kazekage clan moreso then Gaara being in love himself.
@@cuthip especially with the princes that went and got married to a foriqner, it's mentioned that they are afraid that should something happen to gaara, with kankoro apparently being sidelined due to him not having kids, temari would inherit but if she where to pass then a leaf ninja would optain the title of kazekage (it's given down as an monarchy)
same here
Ino x Sai is actually my favorite couple in the series, which I was not expecting. They actually work well together and seem to have a lot of love, respect, depth and affection in their relationship.
They have a better love story than Shikamaru and Temari in my opinion. Also, crop tops!
InoSai and TemaShika are my favorite canon pairings. They make the most sense and had some build up.
Ten Ten was the glue of the team. She has many traits similar that brought them together.

Actually Sakura and Sasuke were going on missions together and Sarada was born outside of Konoha because of it
Minato and Kushina aremy personal fave
Me tooooooo
