I wouldn't mind him leaving Naruto and Sasuke nearly as much if he set them up with actual competent sensei. But, no, he completely ignored Sakura and left Naruto, the 9 Tails jinchuriki, in the hands of FUCKING EBISU. You even remember who tf that is? Probably not, because he's a random nobody who did fucking nothing. If he left Naruto with Jiraiya (who he knew pretty well) and Sakura with basically anyone, it wouldn't have been nearly as big an issue

I mean, he had 1 arch to train team 7 as a team. and in that 1 arch his method of pitching sasuke and naruto against each other for chakra control tree climbing actually did work.
idk, if saying he “sucks” is all that accurate, since the times we do see him taking a teaching roll, he DOES get results.
      -team 7 initiation for teamwork

@@midshipman8654 I agree. I just think he’s not very good in comparison to the other teachers. He taught Sakura next to nothing tbh. The reason why Sasuke got so much stronger, I believe, is because he’s a genius like Kakashi (although, far from the same level of genius). I think if he had been Neji’s teacher, he would’ve had similar results, but he struggled to advance his non-prodigious students very much. He was at a bit of a handicap, though, considering Naruto had that extra seal disrupting his chakra and Sakura seemed to be more interested in hanging out with Sasuke than getting stronger.

All the other teams either learn from their clan hyuuga inuzuka aburame or they actually get training and help from their sensei like lee and tenten which you can see how they improve and keep learning new stuff all the time seriously everyone learns new jutsu's constantly or they learn new things because their senseis are atleast competent at it. Kakashi meanwhile... Walk up a tree while I watch and do absolutely NOTHING TO HELP! He only motivated them he didn't explain the technique that well HELL SAKURA HAD TO HELP THEM! SAKURA HARUNO AS A GENIN WAS A BETTER TEACHER THEN FUCKING KAKASHI HATAKE! This isn't about being a prodigy teaching none prodigy this is a complete lack of active teaching which jiraya also has naruto never had a proper teacher EVER everything he did learn he got vague instructions on and then learned by himself.
Think about it rasengan jiraya said do this done with that oh you got help from a cat? cool anyway do this thing done? neat alright now do this step etc and so on because of this people consider naruto being a crappy ninja because he doesn't grow as others should... No it's not that naruto is a great ninja learning the rasengan in a few weeks where it toke jiraya months it's not that he is a crappy ninja it is because he is sorrounded by crappy teachers.
We hear kakashi taught tree walking jiraya taught water walking kakashi actually was good he taught him wind release THEY DIDNT TEACH SHIT! It was all trial and error because they were such crappy teachers I love them as characters and such but as teachers they fucking suck and can get thrown in the trash.
Hell during his training of wind release he went to asuma because kakashi was such a crappy teacher which was the smartest thing he has ever done in relations teaching ascepts in that one moment naruto had an actual teacher who taught him something who explained things properly and wouldn't you fucking know it he understood after a while and mastered it even if it was supposed too be incredibly hard why? BECAUSE ASUMA WAS A PROPER TEACHER UNLIKE THE OTHER 2 IDIOTS!!!

Like most of the issues with Naruto's writing, and a lot of manga in general, it all stems from having to write as you go, week by week, instead of using a lot slower, edit heavy style of writing like you might do with a Novel or Light Novel series. Writing as you go encourages and leads to a lot of issues like having to retcon a lot, creating inadvertent plot holes, "writing your way back" to established "mystery boxes" and general inconsistencies that pop up when you change ideas after setting up said boxes. Writing a story is really fucking hard, even when it's the only thing you're focusing on and you're given a LOT of time. Kishi had to do that while drawing sick art and being held to a strict deadline.

Naruto was clearly starved for any form of positive reinforcement that ne scarcely received in his entire life. Sakura had a lack of self esteemed and essentially let everyone walk over and ignore her. Sasuke had SEVERE emotional and psychological trauma not to mention his aggression, superiority and inferiority complex and lack of social skills. At the very least he should have tried to get sasuke in a more emotionally stable state of mind given their shared similarities wnd trauma, but all he did was give an unstable child access to skills he shouldn't have and a few random pep talks and expected hijmto figure it out. Omg I suddenly remembered this part that I thought at the time was unimportant! And you're so right ! Iruka was right ! Joining in the Chunin exams made Sasuke's inferiority complex grow to the point that he thought going with a child-stalker would be a great idea , Sakura almost died , Naruto would have ended up defeating Gaara even without joining Chunin exam because he spammed shadow clones and used summoning Jutsu that Jiraiya taught him . Guy was the one who did the best : Perfected Neji's moves , taught Lee something that would change his life , made Tenten use her weak powers to the farthest extent so that she doesn't end up dead... Something to consider is why Kakashi was such a bad teacher, and I think the answer to that is Minato. Jiraiya said that Minato was such a prodigy he didn't really need any training, that meant Minato didn't know how to be a good teacher. Then, Minato's squad was on war time missions and frequently split up. Throw in that Minato died young and couldn't really guide Kakashi, and that even in Anbu, you had Itachi and Yamato as the closet people Kakashi might teach, and Kakashi really just had no good feedback to learn how to be a teacher from either his days as a student or a teacher. Even when he saw the rift between Sasuke and Naruto and went to Jiraiya for help, Jiraiya just said that it was no big deal and left Kakashi without any guidance.

It almost seems like the sensei's job isn't to be a mentor/master to pass down jutsu, but more like a captain to guide teamwork and help improve existing skills, like chakra control. The rest were either self developed, sometimes alongside or supported by senseis, like Kakashi's chidori and Naruto's rasenshuriken, or related to having masters teach or pick up techniques from their students, like the sanin with team 7 or Minato showing Jiraya how to do the rasengan.

The best thing about Kakashi's peers when it comes to their mentor-ships in part 1 is that all of their students all got clear development in some way, yet the audience sees very little of it besides a select few instances, mostly during the chunin exam fights. Yet, it's still rather believable and safe to assume that most of their development came from their teachers. Meanwhile team 7 is the team the audience spends the most time with and yet they feel like they receive the least amount of development from their teacher. They do develop, of course, but most of that development often feels like stuff they came up with on their own or shit they made up on the fly as oppose to any really, considerable input from their teacher. The prelim fight arc in particular is always interesting to me for this reason. Every other teacher during those fights usually displays very intimate knowledge about their student's strengths and weaknesses during their respective fights, at least everyone except for Kakashi, who, during those fights often acts as in info dump, knowing more about ANOTHER student's techniques than his own students.

It seemed like he just really didn't know what to say after that. Or how to get the words out. Heck, if he had just said, "How do you think I got this eye?" After that, Sasuke would've been attached to Kakashi like a clingy girlfriend who just discovered super glue, lol. Would've also been a great chance to do the Team Minato flashback, Sasuke could've been properly kidnapped, and then intoxicated by the power released from curse mark after he got out of the box that he only left because he was literally drunk on power/hypnotized by it. So it would be less of Kakashi's failure and more of Orochimaru's cunning. Then, even after coming out of the trance, Sasuke would be too tempted by the power-ups and techniques that Orochimaru already started teaching him and he'd have already been a rogue ninja because he attacked Naruto while power-drunk/hypnotized, and like how Kakashi brought Naruto away after the battle, Sasuke could walked just a few feet away doubting himself and what he did and faint before Orochimaru himself picked up Sasuke before Kakashi arrived, or at the same time, they stared each other down before Orochimaru disappears with Sasuke and Kakashi can't pursue because he has to save Naruto.

@Tyr Something we could have had is Kakashi going to show Sasuke the tomb of Obito, Rin and his Father and while off-screen, having explained.
Like this, for example, cut back to Kakashi and Sasuke in front of the monument with the name of the shinobi that died for the leaf, to make it even clearer that yeah, Kakashi's loved one(s) died FOR the leaf. It may even bring the whole, Sasuke wondering what a village truly is, from much longer roots, upon seeing the personnal cost it takes, all the lives that died. Plus, I doubt Obito was the only Uchiha whose name was wrote there, so bonus point, have Sasuke either search how those had died, since they are distant relatives, poking a small curiosity for the lives of distant cousins, or just... have a scene where Sasuke sees Obito's name and learns from Kakashi they were teammates.
Because, the moent you hear "Kakashi was on the same team as a now dead member of the Uchiha" you can click. That the sharigan, is the eye of his dead friend. A friend he may feel he failed to save. Not even showing us flasbacks, just a subtext implication. Because, Sasuke is no idiot, he would likely piece this together.

More than a sensei, it was really a mission to watch over the jinchuriki and the last uchiha. Sakura was probably put in there because of her good grades on paper and nothing else… or maybe it showed the 3rd that she was medical ninja material. Fact is he knew more than anyone and made the best decision as the 4 of them working together helped save the world in the end. It would’ve never been possible without the 4 working together as a team, ironically. So you gotta give more credit to the 4th. I think Kakashi had every ounce of potential to be the best sensei Team 7 could've hoped for. All 3 members needed a serious reality check about themselves and their goals as ninja, something a less myopic sensei would've taken action on. Naruto formed his nindo based on something he learned from an enemy; do you mean to tell me that Kakashi, with all the loss in his life, couldn't impart the importance of protecting those you hold dear? Sasuke needed to realize that revenge would be hollow if he had nothing to go home to after. His only goal was Itachi, yeah I know he SAID he wanted to revive his clan; but given his behavior, how likely was it that the Uchiha clan under him would end up any better than they were before? Sakura... did the girl have an identity beyond a foul temper, book smarts, and being a fangirl? Even if Kakashi took a greater interest in her skills, would she get invested in those teachings or would she hold herself back to avoid getting better at something than Sasuke, thus making him hate her or something? Fix a lot of those issues and you give them much better chances for survival
Sasuke needed mental help, and to learn more versatile tactics than a technique that all but drains him dry. Kakashi not teaching him something from every element once the boy's Sharingan awoke is practically a crime! Naruto learned a high rank forbidden jutsu in a night before becoming a genin; and everyone still treats him like he's braindead. How hard would it have been for Kakashi to say "Y'know Naruto, whatever your clones learn, you'll learn when they pop"? That wouldn't solve all of Naruto's problems, but it would give the kid a way to start filling gaps in his knowledge base while otherwise learning from his supposed sensei! That no one told him that until Shippuden is freaking ludicrous! I can only put it down to one of these reasons why Kakashi failed as a teacher:1) The emotional trauma mentioned in the video left him unable to really impart the kind of teaching his students needed. 2) He was so wrapped up in the past that he expected his student to react as he and his team would have in the same situation, totally forgetting that his students come from very different circumstances. 3) Pure, disgusting, laziness and apathy. That or a kind of selective blindness to the faults in his teaching methods.

Absolutely beautiful analysis on kakashis character, I Love his character but aa a sensai he was horrible, he gave both sasuke the best and worst treatment, He didn't teach sasuke other jutsus especially knowing sasuke can copy jutsus like him, sasuke literally copied lee for example, he only taught sasuke a killer technique but then yelled at sasuke for using his counter to narutos rasangen, neglected naruto completely and looked at him as a baby brain even tho in the haku arc he was impressed by the ninetails, and when i say he neglected naruto times that by 109 for sakura, something off topic is why he read so much doujins but didn't get a girlfriend, he really let his past anchor him so hard that he neglected everyone and was hypocritical, he says choosing a mission over friends makes u scum yet he chooses training over his students feelings, he doesn't even talk to sasuke about his introduction in the literal third episode, lets sasuke and naruto live alone in misery even tho hes aware of it, i already ranted about his horrible treatment to sasukes emotional feelings in another thread but u also covered it perfectly in a summary, and he acted like sakura wasn't there, what a wasted character, sasuke had too much on his mind to ask kakashi about jutsu variety he focused on taijutsu, basic techniques, ninja tool usage as we saw multiple times and he taught himself all that fancy wired kunai stuff, all kakashi taught him was wall run and chidori, he taught him a technique that uses so much chakra but this samw guy told sasuke to watchout for the curse mark consuming chakra, same technique that is meant for killing and he taught that to a kid with high hatred for revenge, Not more to need to say regarding kakashis horrible treatment to sasuke, naruto was out of the picture and luckily found jiraya, and jiraya was useless in the timeskip but specifically in part 1 he was amazing, tsunade was blunt in her neglect and also attitude towards naruto while kakashi wasn't, thats why it seems like kakashi cares, and again he quite literally acted like sakura didn't exist, im no fan of sakura, especially Shippuden, but in part 1 i understood where she was coming from, not close with her parents, she was good with chakra control and studied, idk why she was rude to naruto that was dumb although i will say naruto acted like a very annoying idiot, sakura seemed like the type to follow the crowd and I wont blame sasuke for it but he never really told her to ease about it although he did say shutup your annoying twice, it was actually kakashis job to make them bond, look at might guys team for example or asumas.. literally all the slice of life scenes of team 7 is filler, my guy couldn't even offer to show them his face without the mask in the non filler he hid away from everybody, he was too prideful to talk to sasuke about the sharingan because clearly sasuke adjusted to it better..Kakashi tried killing zabaza but accidentally killed haku, haku showing they were a tool and not a person, kakashi sees this and then still treats his students the same way zabaza treated haku, how messed up is that, especially seeing narutos passionate speech, or sasukws attempted suicide to save Naruto, or Sakura crying for sasuke, kakashi was more sad for haku than his own team, and the final panel in part 1 when kakashi picks narutos fainted body in the final valley, while it looks hard and is super epic and beautiful, kakashi only blames Himself for being too late but not that its all his fault to begin with, the fact yamato is with team 7 at the beginning SHOWS kakashi does not give a damn, but the topic is so subtle in the show its so hard to reflect and be like was kalashi bad? cuz the show never talks about that and its actually a very interesting topic, makes kakashi more dislikable but also makes him more interesting, issue in shippuden is kakashi never really has dialogue about it, imagine one day him feeling sorry for himself or team 7 and saying the mistakes to sakura and naruto and how hes sorry he failed them, how he left naruto and sasuke to live alone, let sakura crush on sasuke and neglect naruto even tho thats what happened to obito, not bond with sasuke about the trauma or feelings and ignore narutos whole history of being outcasted, kakashi was pit up with two of the most tragic characters in the academy and treated them like they were surface level like kiba, like they were normal when they weren't, and he just left Sakura in the dust, now sasukes character writing in shippuden especially after tobi tells him the truth, is another topic, and narutos writing in shippuden as well even sakura, but speaking of kakashi his positive qualities outshine the negative i still love the death he had in the pain arc even tho i wanted him to win, his hair without the headband is beautiful and he's also a great ninja, and to see him die for choji was beautiful, at that moment i forgive him for his sins, but then he gets a cheesy revive, and is in the war arc and kage summit and shows how much he doesn't care about sasuke and also gets obitos eyes and blue susano and i hated everything about it, and the fact he smiled when team 7 got back together like he deserved to see it, when all he wanted to do was kill sasuke and neglect Sakura and naruto was crazy...

Hiruzen forced Kakashi into teaching to regain his humanity. Protecting Naruto could help him overcome failing to protect Kushina and Minato. I imagine Hiruzen thought that Kakashi having a Sharingan would benefit both Sasuke and Kakashi for having lost their families. In Kakashi's defense, aside from her parents, Naruto is pretty much the only one who hasn't abandoned Sakura at some point. Ino briefly abandoned her when they were children, and even Naruto called her out on her lie.

All other sensei were like parental figures and highly respected by the kids, but Kakashi was never able to connect with any of the kids in his team. He lost everyone, I know but so did Sasuke and Naruto and still Kakashi wasn't capable to relate to their pain. And Sakura wasn't even in his radar.

He himself states that Sasuke and Naruto have some amazing potential and completely ignores Sakura, and when she had an opportunity to learn more he just lays back and keeps paying attention to the students that intrests him. I'm still keeping in mind that I've only watched a tiny portion of the series but yeah.(also is Sakura gonna do anything? She's stood still for the past 16 episodes)

Man you are spitting nothing but facts. I’ve said many times that if Kakashi actually told Sasuke his life story and the lessons he has learned from his experiences, I really feel like he would have been able to get through to Sasuke. This includes how he got his sharingan and what it symbolises for him, the fact that he actually worked alongside Itachi in the anbu just to show that he has a personal investment in Sasuke’s wellbeing etc. There is so much Sasuke wouldn’t know about his clan so even hearing stories about other members would solidify their relationship as sensei and student.
Even if he can’t stop Sasuke from pursuing Itachi, he should have at least been able to keep him in the village (yes I know that the curse mark made Sasuke more subservient to the will of Orochimaru, but it’s unclear how much of an impact that really had given that Kakashi had partially sealed it away. I think it’s pretty clear that meeting Itachi again was the main reason he sought Orochimaru out after seeing the power disparity.
Likewise with Naruto, I really think Naruto would have benefitted from knowing Kakashi’s life story, including the fact that his sensei, the 4th Hokage, is Naruto’s father. Re-assure Naruto that he is capable of achieving his dream if he remembers what’s important, and then teaches him a variety of useful jutsu including changes in chakra nature; him not knowing that until shippuden is criminal. It’s also kinda wild that Kakashi knew the rasengan the whole time and never used it, nor thought it would be a good jutsu to teach, yes it’s pretty advanced, but there’s no harm in demonstrating it to give Naruto something to focus towards.
And finally Sakura. Teach her ANYTHING. Any kind of offensive jutsu would be nice. Maybe tell her details about Naruto and Sasuke to help her understanfing the burdens they hold. She came from a non-shinobi, 2 parent household, and it clearly made her incapable of understanding the cutthroat nature of the world she was stepping into. Just do way more to guide her growth as a kunoichi.
In terms of combat, he is probably the most consistently impressive jonin across naruto. But as a sensei, bottom tier.

I love how this lowkey served as a “Why Guy is the BEST Sensei in Naruto” video as well lmao. I still roll my eyes at the scene where Guy suggested that Squad 7 wait a year before promoting to Chunin (like his squad did), only for Kakashi to cheekily imply that Guy was just too big a coward to send them into the exams right after graduation 😒. Team Guy should’ve served as a great example for what Team Kakashi had yet to become: a “talentless” maverick, traumatized genius, and no-name kunoichi putting their differences and lack of shared experienced aside in order to become greater than the sum of their parts.
That said, Team Guy also could’ve worked as a cautionary tale for Kakashi. What happens when you encourage your passionate student to sacrifice his own body to prove a point (even if it’s profound)? What happens when you don’t address the trauma of your student because “he’s a genius so he’ll figure it out eventually”? What happens when you give your kunoichi a specialty but leave her unable to stand on relatively equal footing w/her teammates? It wouldn’t even be a means of slandering Guy and his teaching methods, but rather to force Kakashi to look at himself and genuinely ask, “What will I teach these kids, and will I take responsibility for the consequences?”
Thank you for making this video cuz I’ve been thinking the same way about this man for over a decade 🤣.

Idk if it's right to blame Kakashi for Sasuke leaving the village. I think Kakashi was trying to help Sasuke with his own experiences in mind, and never in Kakashi's mind did he ever think to leave the Leaf Village. I think Kakashi may have felt that was an extreme that Sasuke wouldn't take. The other thing that isn't considered in this video is that after Orochimaru's invasion and the death of Hiruzen, the village was short on elite ninja staff, so Kakashi was going on other missions on behalf of the village at this time on top of his duties as a sensei, and as the strongest non-Anbu Jonin in the village with a specialty in tracking, Kakashi was probably sent on several A-class or S-class missions by himself. Great analysis over all, I just have a few objections. First, the tree climbing exercise allowed Sakura to hold her own against Ino, by making her use chakra to boost her speed in combination with her clones. It is also a great exercise to teach Naruto as he struggles with the basics.
When it comes to Naruto, he correctly identified that his biggest source of motivation was his rivalry with Sasuke and used it several times to fuel Naruto's growth to great effect.
Kakashi did not simply teach Sasuke the chidori because of favoritism. He correctly identified that Sasuke would be drawn to the power of the curse mark and that he needed to teach him something big to convince him to rely only on his own strength.
Also, his speech to Sasuke seemed fairly effective and letting him on his own to reflect on it was the correct strategy, he was just unfortunate that the sound 4 screwed everything up.
The comparison to Guy's team is unfair. Neji was not convinced by Guy, but mostly by a combination of Naruto and his father's letter. Sure, Guy taught more to his team than Kakashi did, but he had a full year of relative quiet with normal missions to teach them in ideal circumstances. Kakashi had almost no time before the chunin exam, and he spent a lot of that time recovering in bed. After the exam and the attack on the village, he was on important missions all the time. Then, his pupils just left, so it's not like he had a lot of time to teach them.

He scolded Sasuke for using a jutsu of killing intent yet naruto did the same and kakashi said nothing, He said forget about revenge which is actually a really brain dead and ignorant statement, in general but especially someone damaged and justified like sasuke, makes everything all that worse, then didn't really relate to sasuke all he said is he lost people, doesn't make things better, sasuke didn't just lose people its how he lost them, to his brother, his brother thats still alive and tortured sasuke a second time, sasuke saw itachi not just as someone he needs to get revenge on but also as a threat, clearly the leaf are usleess, Sasuke probably expected itachi to come back for round 3, then the curse mark thats just hindering sasukes abilities, kakashis only idea was seal and restrain it which is pointless, ankos a trash ninja with a restrained curse mark that hinders her why would sasuke wanna be that, only option was orochimaru, jiraya is stronger than orochimaru, they easily coulda set up SOME typa meetup for a solution on this curse mark, orochimaru even made a deal with tsunade for healing his arms, kakashi doesn't even teach sasuke other copied jutsus, rock lees kick is something he did before the training and then all he did was i guess copy rock lees speed during the training which isn't even Kakashis idea, anyways so not only is kakashis talk brain dead, the sound 4 jump and beat sasuke and even they are more convincing than kakashi, that should tell you enough, if kakashis conversation was actually not stupid, then sasuke woulda just saw the sound 4, as these punks who are slaves to orochimaru, he woulda yelled so kakashi can save him, but he was quite and related to them, and saw them as people who took advantage of orochimaru, kakashi failed as a sensei, even someone like might guy who has no jutsu, if sasuke was under him in part 1 with mastery of hidden gates and the high speed, sasuke would be insane plus the sharingan, even jiraya would be a better teacher

Exactly! Kakashi wasn’t just in charge of them. He was also probably the #1 junnin of the entire village and had to do a lot of overtime. Being in charge of those 3 was more like a special mission than just becoming their sensei. The villages jinchuriki plus the last uchiha promising to be as good as Itachi, plus the most skilled at chakra control student on paper… seems to me that it was a special mission more than a random daily assignment. Too many things at stake. Plus no time for rest.
Also remember that Naruto had that seal and couldn’t really control his chakra until Jiraiya removed it! So trying to teach him a lot of jutsu was probably not easy.

Even at low chakra in the waves mission, he was able to produce around 10 no problem. The Show even points out the Jutsu in question is great for doing different things at the same time with a good example is in SHippuden. When Naruto commented about Looking left and right at the same time, he simply used a shadow clone to point out how it's possible. This gave him the opportunity to give all three personal instruction if he really didn't feel like giving group training.

None of them really have what it takes to connect with young students especially on an emotional level, but they wouldn’t need to do that as examiners. I got to disagree that the other teachers did any better than Kakashi in preparing their students the chunin exams. Most of the other Konoha 12 sololy used their clan jutsus and tactics. The closest to preparing the students was Guy and even that is lacking. That is mostly because of the work he did with Lee teaching him iron fist style and 8 gates and giving his team an extra year to grow. He did next to nothing for Tenten besides teaching her the sealing stuff for her weapon. Throwing accuracy was something taught at the academy.

Another thing one should look at is when he taught treewalking, he taught it during the first mission outside of the village, but that seems like a very basic skill (basic enough that I'm surprised it's not taught in the academy) and something that didn't need much time to teach. It should have been something he should have shown on the first day and tell them to preactice it on their own after they did their missions for the day.
By the time they left for Wave, they probably could have already started with water walking and he could have done everything else the exact same way he did in canon.
Quite frankly during the mission was probably a horrible time to teach tree walking, even if they expected Zabuza to be out for a few days, they still should have expected others to be sent after the bridge builder, that's not exactly the time where Sasuke and Naruto should have done exercises that left them rather exhausted each day.

Sakura was incredible below average with chakra control being her only good point
And then there was Sasuke someone who was mid to high level already knew advanced moves and has a unique ability that he also had
I know the teams were made to balance out the best with the worst but he really had it rough with two of his students if they never went to some of the strongest people in the worst to train would have been average at best (not counting 9 tails stuff for Naruto) while the last had one of the brightest path to being one of the strongest in the village

I feel like Kakashi should've went a similar route like Kurenai, and decide to focus the team in specializing in something. Team 8 was trained to specialize in recon and information gathering based off of their abilities, while Kakashi's Team 7 wasn't really given any particular objective.
Perhaps he should've made them specialize in creating chaos, like Sakura figuring out where to hit the hardest, Naruto just creating chaos and making the enemy's life miserable, and Sasuke being the one specialized in assassinating or taking out the power targets.
Every other team had a sort of theme or goal, except for Team 7, and so they just ended up drifting apart and learning under others.
