As a Yamaha PHX owner, there are not too many kits that leave an impression on me like the Hendrix did. Played one at NAMM 2020, came back played it again, came back played it again . . . each time I walked away feeling like this could be my next kit. I owned a Yamaha Maple Custom for 23 years . . . My PHX for 8 years . . . I am just wondering how the stave shells last over time with the stresses . . . but then being a stave shell . . . does that actually have less stress on it? Will be watching.
