How to make a stave snare drum

This is how I made a stave snare drum out of a piece of maple
There's a few streps missing but this is most of how I did it.

Could you perhaps make a more detailed information pallete about the snare bed? I was searching for a video about snare bed and I can't seem to find a lot of information on how to actually make them properly
