Glad to see you got a little knife hunt in. Love that Deerslayer. You may have seen the one I have that belonged to my Godfather. I don't think it was made by Schrade. Family story is that it was hand-crafted for him. Many in the community seem to agree. That camp knife is sweet as well. Great little lockback as well. Have a great evening!
Thanks for watching. Quite a few of my leather sheaths sport inserts. It helps the sheath hold up longer. Protects the blade better too. 1 gallon milk jug plastic is thinner and works great for smaller sheaths. Best! Dwayne
Lamson’ Goodnow’ Co. is a very old company. Founded when the fur trade was still going on. The earliest like these were made in Shelburn’ Falls MA. Sometime after the Civil War. Many knives Marked Lamson G & Co. were imported. Value on this set. Hard to put. Definitely $30 min for the set would be my guess
Great showing! That 152ot went by the name Deerslayer. Don’t know what you paid for it but I know they are hard to get for under 50$. My opinion their best fixed blade.
Thanks Ron. Got the Deer Slayer for $30. Your right. I look on eBay. About $70 is as low as I see the clean old ones. Average is $80-$99. It’s one old timer I seldom run across used in Antique & Pawns
Great score.
Great finds. Keep at it. See you down the trail.
Big ol beast and those little finds are great too .
I am floored with the things you find!😂👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

Nice score. I like it. I'd probably use it at deer camp or out to a nice steakhouse.
