Hahaha! I knew there was a joke coming somehow! 😂. Great finds for a buck. Stag always looks good. I’d be tempted to ebony for the coke bottle just because it was originally black. The tang stamp dates the Buck to 1987. Cool find. The Cattlemen kinda resembles a Copperhead pattern. Like a half canoe. Solid looking knife. Have a great evening!
Hey Brother thanks for the Info on the Buck👍 I am kinda leaning towards Ebony also to keep the original aspect! These big old turn of Century Jacks were usually Ebony Or Jigged Bone. Most were Ebony or RW.
Awesome haul! I have a mint buck 703 from 1986 if you’re interested. Also if you want to double your money on that lakeside I’m your guy! I have a couple lakeside axe heads. Thanks for sharing brother
Hey thanks for sharing Brother. I also have 2 Lakeside Axes and a Lakeside Hatchet . Love the old Wards stuff. I have a few Old Axes stamped Wards and old pocket knives too. Best. Dwayne
I think you could use that Antler handle with the buttcap for a handle to a -Scottish Sgian Dubh- knife perfect size and the tappered tail of a old file would be perfect for the tang inserted in the existing hole from the cutlery blade that was probably there before . Have you ever seen a XL elephant toe folder with ivory scales ? I always thought it would be amazing to see ivory scales on a elephant toe , to me it just makes sense I guess lol. Another great video , thanks again for your awesome sharing brother .
Thanks Benjamin. I have been saving the little horn handle with the nickel silver cap to someday to make a little Dagger of sorts. I think I will take your input save it for that. Gonna use Ebony for the little shotgun knife with either brass or copper or Nickel as bolster tips
First Cold steel folder I have owned. Back in Early 90s I bought an original USA Trailmaster’ and Recon Scout . Should have kept those. This CS folder is pretty cool. Kinda CS take on the early Spyderco’ and other makers of modern Flippers that took off back in the day. -- you nailed it Bro--I just did a little research and sure looks like Camillus’ did make this Knife for Cold Steel!!!!

Nice finds ! On that second blade ya showed . Personally I'd like to see it restocked with ebony again. But the deer antler would look good to.
Thanks for watching. I’m leaning towards keeping it Ebony to stay true to the knifes history. But stag scales would be fantastic.
That cold steel reminds me a lot of a camillus lockback I had as a young lad. The handle was almost identical with the big silver pivot
