I have a lot of respect Dwayne Johnson, especially after he opened up about his depression after an injury prevented him from playing football. He stopped by my last job while here in Tampa promoting Walking Tall. I wasn't there at the time, but everyone who was said he was very cool and they have photos taken with him. I think a lot of people underestimate how intelligent he is. I like how wrestlers now refer to themselves as "performers" which is much more accurate.

I can actually agree with what CM Punk said about The Rock character being outdated. Good observation. Vin Diesel was feeling a bit of jealous but I don't think he hates him. Tyrese definitely does after and is constantly slamming him or posting subliminals on his if account. He had a fight with James Franco and hates him even today while it's been years. HBK didn't hate him but wanted to bury him because he thought he was achieving too much too soon while it took him years. His best buddy was also HHH so he did everything he could to try to get HHH booked over The Rock. Cena was mad he was getting booed, movies were failing and the constant Rock rip wannabe jabs was getting to him. He is very two faced so you could never trust Cena but I don't think he hates him. Especially now, he has grown. TJ, never heard of him and it's was obviously blown out of proportion. Cm Punk was jealous because he wanted Rock's spot and position but no real hate. Nash is one of the biggest scumbags in wrestling and was apart of the famous kliq who tried burying talent. The Rock let him have it in 2002 and he never forgot it. Ahmed Johnson is probably the biggest Rock hater from the wrestling biz. He has a reputation for faking stories in shoot interviews. Controversial bs that never happened. A real lowlife scumbag. Orton was obviously still hurting from that promo Rock cut on him in 2004 and was sticking up for his best friend Cena because of all the heat he was getting while feuding with The Rock. HHH & Rock were competitive, both wanted to be number 1. It caused real tension and jealousy especially when The Rock owned HHH and overshadowed him. It made his life when Rock left for movies but he was secretly hoping he'd fail. They are now cordial.

I can actually agree with what CM Punk said about The Rock character being outdated. I loved the nostalgia of seeing him return in 2011, but even then I felt he was a bit out of touch, WWE in 2011 wasn't like it was in his hey day of the attitude era in the late 90's/ early 2000's, it was now a show my 7 year old nephew watched after watching his cartoons, so a 40 year old man cussing like he used to when he was younger was a bit cringeworthy.

You can love him, you can hate him but above all else, you respect him and the rock is good at these things.. he brought it to hollywood as a means to stay connected to other people. Know when to hate someone, know when to like someone, know when to apologize, and never cross the line.
