All the belts had a meaning back then. Loved watching the intercontinental championship and hardcore title. Such memories
Including your comment
All 4 of them sold that whole episode of SNL with grace. Pure gold
Based on the above, I'm pretty sure you have no idea what the definition of "grace" is.
This is still one of the best monologues in SNL history
The Wrestlemania 2000 main event
ozzyrocks666 holy shyt i didnt even realized it
3:50 I don't know about you guys but I find Big Show's little dance hilarious.
I kept on replaying that part. He's dancing like an actual cheerleader 😂
And fans wonder why vince booked him like goofy giant lol
Did anyone hear that guy Triple H punched shout ‘I WENT TO HARVARD!’ 😂😂😂
Nah we didn't hear him triple H's biceps muffled the sound
Jackbro82 I FUCKIN KNEW IT 💀
😆😆😆I just noticed
@Jackbro82 LOL wow how in the fuck did you remember that he was from the Office by seeing his face when you wrote the comment? His face is so forgetable lol.
It doesn’t matter what he shouted
Remember Rock grew up with alot of these guys as family. So they really loved him. Stone Cold, Hunter.
I love how he has always owned the situation! Dude oozes charisma.
The guy Triple H punches is Michael Schur, who played Mose on The Office and he was a main writer for Parks and Rec!
Forrest Lovette good call! I thought he looked familiar
Precious moments when wrestlers were becoming really famous. The Rock might be a hot Hollywood star, but never forget Roddy Piper and Jesse Ventura, they paved a way.
Miguel Maldonado Jr. Dusty Rhodes was before them and ric flair
@@checkthemikecrophone9050 tic flair and Dusty were not really acting. I'm talking about wrestlers turned actors.
You can't forget the great Andre the Giant in The Princess Bride
what about hulk hogan zeus bundy
What bout Andre?
I remember seeing this live when it 1st happened. Also the only time I have seen Fire on the music stage of SNL when AC/DC played. Was very awesome!
"AC/DC is in the house!"
This is as rock as Rock can be.
WOW, Dwayne looks so much better now and it was so weird to see a THIN Tracey Morgan
delfin7461 noooo ha not even close, the
Rock is ugly now
Rock looks way better back then
The rock was way better lookin back then even HHH
I love the way they played this out. Vince is really awesome....He really does knows how to create stars!!!....and put people over.
Hahaha no he don't...the rock came in as a clown rocky maivia and hhh came in as a corny french blue blood lol...the guys that bc stars it's bc of them...what makes them great is usually they use about 90% of who they really are...even stone cold sucked bc Vince didn't know how to use them
@james mastrobuono That's a good point, but u still need mainstream help to get out there. That's what Vince did. None of these guys wouldn't be as high as they are without Vince, or at least during that working period.
Vince also knows how to take a crap on people!
that title belt so beautiful compared to crap that came after (not including big gold)
Yeah they should've made the Universal Title look like that 90s eagle belt, with red or white strap
The undisputed/wwe title the one Eddie Guerrero and Brock lesner held before it changed to the spinner was still a decent belt but that attitude era and the wcw/world heavyweight title belts were beautiful and made people look like a champion
Dean McEntevy de
+Desousa Michel de?
the undisputed belt was nice too
HHH used to be so big lol
TheTimer1337 Used to? Have you seen his Instagram page? Him & Steph are beasts lol
Christopher Greig I️ think he meant ripped
If anything Triple H used to be smaller
Juuuiiiiice
TheTimer1337 PAUSE!
Triple H should've been or should be casted as Sabretooth in the Marvel Universe
Or Thor.
Jody McGuiness or Thor
Sabretooth= Undertaker Don't Argue With Me
or arthas menethil, if they ever make a warcraft 3 movie
Omg I said the same thing years ago!!!!
The Rock is The Best Ever!!!
HHH was ripped back then
he is still but i agree iwould like the past
Jesus, he was 30 back then. He really looked way older than he really was.
Solon
Hhh: 30
Rock: 27
Foley: 34
Big show: 28
Bejoy Pradeep now he's almost 50, and doesn't look much different.
when steroids were allowed
1:36 "I know i am hot but keep your hands off me"😂😂😂😂
There are no steroids in wrestling, HHH took them all.
HHH is fucking yoked here
🤣🤣🤣
KlazeGamez I just put on a tight ass shirt, and I sure as hell don’t look like that. Lmao
@Richard Shortridge April Fool's Day was 2 weeks ago.
@Richard Shortridge Ok, if that's what you want to believe, feel free.
I watched this when it originally aired. Me, my mother and sister. I still remember Horatio Sanz's adult drawing skit. I was sweating, watching it with my mom and sister watching. Son of a beans!
The beginning of the greatest acting career in the last 20 years. March of 2000...what a time.
He's hard to recognize without the amish style beard, but was that Mose Schrute that Triple H punched?
Yup
Yes he wrote for SNL, Parks and Rec, and the office
It was 😂😂😂😂😂🤭
Yeah Mike was a writer
@@frostbite585 he actually created Parks and Recs and The Good Place.
The Rock hosting with special guest AC/DC!? Wow what a time to be alive.
Yes it was😊♥️
Ac dc leant high way to hell to wwe for summer slam 98
I still have this episode recorded on tape somewhere.
Better times
Richard Wolff That summer was the first time I heard Highway to Hell and it was from that promo! I was like “hey I like that song!” I was maybe 9 years old.
When you realize the random guy at 4:11 is Mike Schur the co-creator of The Office, Parks and Rec and Brooklyn nine nine
It’s hilarious seeing the scruffy Foley and giant Show swaying and cheering like that
Back when errybody had hair, The Rock, Big Show, Kurt Angle etc. 🙌🏼
Rock: Some say I look like a sexy Rob Schneider
Me: *Looks closelly* OMFG, he does!
Date Masamune wth lmao, dats true
This is awesome! HHH trying not to laugh is priceless
3:49 big show is sooo funny i love so much
yeah
Lol breaking kayfabe
I cried laughing an hour straight
"Until then, I'm gonna pretend this guy is you"
*Punches guy in crowd and drags him off*
It was definitely a simpler time back then.
If that happened today
It would be snowflake meltdown
Punching a disabled kid like that
That’s Michael schur what the hell
@@chattiermike140 yea thats crazy. Just noticed that. Man that guy has been associated with some amazing television moments over the years. Awesome
Gabriel Garcia I think he would’ve been a writer for SNL back then
Shur wrote and cowrote about 7 famous popular tv shows .
What an incredibly smart move to get Mick, Big Show, Triple H and Vince on Saturday Night Live along with Rock
I love this version of The rock, he came across serious but funny. Spirituality is being funny in serious moments.
Is that Michael Schur AKA Mose Shrute from The Office at 4:18 who Triple H punches? THATS AWESOME
I too think so!
thats Mose alright lol
i think it is! and thats him sitting next to tracy morgan at the beginning too!
Nah this guy went to Harvard.
Ryan Ferguson yup. Lol. 😂😂😂
I keep forgetting how young the Rock was in this time, 27 going on 28. Je was so over and accomplished sp much within this time that he appeared much more mature
"I know I'm hot, but keep your hands off me!"
I don't know how I've never seen this. Laughing throughout the entire thing, especially when Foley and Big Show started chanting Rocky.
that guy at 4:20 "HEY I WENT TO HARVARD!" HAHA
vaiouser 4:20 😏 Timed perfectly
I remember this episode when it first aired. I was busting up laughing during the entire show. Plus, anytime you have AC/DC as your musical guest it's going to be a damn good show too.
Jesus these were the days!!!
Did Foley, HHH, and Show have any other appearances in the episode? Or just the open?
@@Speedyreedy1218 They were in one other segment in the show and also at the end too.
@@kevinstull8552 I can't find them anywhere on TH-cam.
Damn, even on different shows HHH had to put himself over.
Lol
they have to play their character
Lmaooo right! Burying everybody ctfu
@@overkillz1986 😭😭😭
@ 😈😈😈
I soooo miss the days when wrestlers were legit tough guys! Even people who never watched wrestling a day in their lives knew who these guys were.
W
Back in days when we all believed the feuds was real...then we see how talented they where..
