I guess after the one or two utility functions I had. I tried to find as many lizards and colossi as possible, so share your stamina. This is enough to climb. To get more stamina you need to kill more lizards or kill the colossi again on NG+.

Yes you are right, eating more than one fruit stamina decreases

in the ps2 u can do it with just 1 stop and from the start...at least i was able to do it like that

In PS2 you don’t use stamina to do diagonal jumps so it’s much easier to get to the Secret Garden.

You need to increase your stamina by killing colossus and collecting lizard tails at shrines. You can also start NG+ and increase your stamina, it doesn't have to be at max to climb

You have to hunt lizards near the shrines and collect their tails. Each time you kill a colossus, your stamina increases. I've played through the game several times 😅
