Lovebites invented the word melody. I hear the Maiden influence in many Lovebites songs, but I never actually think of Maiden when I’m listening to them. Does that make sense?

Best metal band in the world right now, and maybe in decades. Just amazing.

Lovebites made a tribute song to Iron Maiden; "The Crusade" (Aces High)

To me this song shows EVERY band member performing at their absolute best. Vocals - elite, drums - elite, bass - elite, guitars - elite. Every time I hear it I get chills. This is absolutely one of their best songs. Not super heavy but still epic.

All the tracks on the Lovebites EP were used on Awakening from Abyss. The song Bravehearted was in Japanese on the EP. It was a song penned by Haruna for Destrose but never used. When recorded for Awakening From Abyss, Asami translated the lyrics to English. The songs from the EP had a different arrangement when they were recorded for Awakening From Abyss.
Bassist Miho was highly influenced by one Stephen Pearcy Harris and often uses the galloping riff on bass.

As someone who has been listening to rock music for 50 years, there is something I always feel.
Why do so many reactors like to compare LOVEBITES to other bands? (Of course, it's well known that LOVEBITES is influenced by Iron Maiden, Helloween, etc.)
The comparison is not pointless, but overdoing it makes it sound like the reactor is just bragging about its knowledge.
An avid rock fan might say: "I know that without you telling me." A new rock fan might think: "I don't enjoy hearing endless comparisons with bands I don't know well."
I think what many listeners want to hear is advice on how to enjoy LOVEBITES' music realistically and what to listen for.
My concern is that by overdoing these comparisons, people will spread the misconception that LOVEBITES are offshoots of famous bands from the past.

This song when performed live gives me chills every time. Asami’s interpretation is outstanding and you can feel the betrayal and the hate for “the liar” 🐺🤘🏻
I suggest this version, where also Haruna is “lost” in the beats. th-cam.com/video/hOfCUa7kiNY/w-d-xo.html
Ps. Iron Maiden doesn’t have a Miyako playing that outstanding intro on the piano 😉

"Liar" is a rearrangement of "just A Liar" from Miyako's former band A Drop Of Joker.
    Lyrics: Dr. U
    Music: Miyako
    Arrangement: Miyako/Lovebites

Thank you for your reaction. Yes, especially Miho loved the original song, so Miyako re-arranged it by metal method for Lovebites. Of course, Miho says " backing guitars are IRON MAIDEN-like, but I think vocal has originality. Asami's original qualities fused to Mi-ya's melody."
Rachmaninov is very famous for being highly influenced by Chopin. But he wrote wonderful symphonies Chopin never wrote one in the genre. He wrote many romantic melodies that only he could create, like we can hear in the Lovebites songs "Under The Red Sky", "Above The Black Sea".
Beethoven directly learned composition method from Haydn who wrote over hundred Symphonies and known as " The Father of Symphony" (melody of the national anthem of Germany was taken from his work). We can hear his and Mozart's influences in Beethoven's early two symphonies. But when Beethoven wrote his third symphony, he went far beyond his master's 100 symphonies, even Mozart's genius 41 symphonies. In the future, if people forget 100 symphonies of Haydn, never comes the day when Beethoven's 9 symphonies disappear from concert programs.
Now Lovebites has only short career with 60 songs. There is already nothing but "LOVEBITES"
Sorry for my poor English, and just IMHO.

I think there was also a studio live version of the music video for this song. When I listened to the live version, I concentrated on the sound of the guitar. However, when I listened to the audio version again, I was able to recognize the beauty of Asami's voice again.

metal/rock music has had a very long time there are millions of metal bands there are thousands of metal bands that have albums there are hundreds of prominent metal bands so it's very difficult for a new band like lovebites to find originality in their music in my opinion, lovebites take a lot similar instruments to the previous band want to remind us that there is your favorite band that has been forgotten and forces us to dig into the band again

I've said it myself when listening to LOVEBITES, "This is the best Iron Maiden song since 1985". However, I think I was referring to "Wicked Witch" off the new album! And I've heard others have similar sentiments about other songs of theirs!
