I really love this show Live from the Abyss it was an up close and personal show and we get to see the ladies do their thing more so that the other live shows.

This is just an onslaught of perfectly layered sound on top of sound on top of sound!! Tremendous. I absolutely love this song by them and have it up in my top ten. And I might even have to rank it higher because this song sounds better and better every time I hear it. Haruna is freaking phenomenal on this. So is Asami. Man, this has to be some of her best vocals. For sure this is absolutely Miyako's best guitar solo and quite lengthy. And don't forget about Midori's contribution at the end with her solo, another amazing layer of beauty. When I first heard this song I was at work, listening through iTunes. When I heard the guitars kick in I literally had to stop everything I was doing because it was so amazing I couldn't believe what I was hearing and had to focus my full attention on the music. I was absolutely floored from what I heard. Never had I heard such fast and intricate and beautiful guitar work mixed with pounding drums and bass, and then this gorgeous angelic vocals on top of it all. Just wow, wow, wow!!!
This is actually Miyako's song and the lyrists is not Asami but some person name Dr. U, so Miyako got to shine on this song.
and I still hear real good bassline of Miho. She is always doing great support in the basement.

It was originally a song by MIYAKO who was in an EDM band. It's a Death Voice song!! The band arrangement is added so much that the "A Drop of Joker" version sounds like a rough demo tape.
Midori also learned piano and keyboard from childhood to around 20 years old. She says that riffs she often composes on the keyboard.Asami, Haruna, and Miho can also play the piano.

Just like everyone else watching, I love the smiles on your faces, as well as the looks of bewilderment sometimes, as you watch these women at work. So good.
Always a blessing to see the little princess having such fun behind the kit. Such a sweet little creature.
In these 'one take' live recordings where the amplifiers & pickup microphones are all in the room together, the main reason for the screens around Haruna is to stop those mics from picking up the sound of the drums. That stops the sound bleeding into the other channels at the mixing desk. It also stops echoes & reverberation within the room. Well, at least, that's what my son told me. He does a fair bit of recording.
