Shiren has always been a part of Unlucky Morpheus. He just doesn't scream in a good chunk of the songs, especially their earlier stuff. Before he started having his arm go bad (the condition he has causes the nerves connecting to his tendons to weaken), he was the lead guitarist & he composes all of the music for Unlucky Morpheus. As his arm has gotten worse, he's incorporated himself more vocally in their songs & usually plays the guitar earlier in their concerts then has rewritten a lot of their songs to have Jill play his guitar sections on the violin (Black Pentagram was an example of that). More recent videos will show that he plays his guitar mounted on a stand or strapped much closer to his body so he doesn't have to worry about his bad arm carrying the weight of the guitar. There's also one song, KIZASI, that he wrote & composed in a way that he only needed to use a single finger on the fretboard. He has done a lot to adapt his music & style so that he can continue performing.
An incredibly good band.
The screamer is actually one of the guitarists and the core member of unlucky morpheus. Because of his arm injury, he can’t play the guitar for as long as before, but he is a great guitarist.

Shiren, the screamer, is the founder and also the 2nd guitarist. This particular song Jill is doing his guitar parts on the violin due to him suffering from tenosynovitis in his left arm. He's always there, just not always screaming.

Shiren, the guitarist/screamer is one of the founders of Unlucky Morpheus along with vocalist Fuki. About the song, during this concert which i think in 2018, Shiren was having a surgery on his right arm. Therefore he can't play the guitar, only screams. His part were taken over temporarily by the violinist Jill.
Shiren (growls) is the co-founder of Unlucky Morpheus, he also writes all the music, Fuki lyrics. He used to be the lead guitarist, but due to tenosynovitis of the arm, he has to rest it, so Jll takes overhis parts while playing the violin, saying that Jinya had to carry a lot more due to some song and ready having violin parts in them.. That why in the MV you watch there were 2 guitarist Shiren and Jinya. If you watch the "Unending Sorceress" MV you'll see him do both.

You mentioned the bluesy feel to the Miyoko (black hair playing the Dean with Fishman pick-ups) solo in Liar..
Miyako is a great fan of the guitarist Gary Moore (RIP) and has said in an interview thsat whenever she wants to play something bluesy she thinks of Gary while composing her solos. I would image that she plays the blues. I know she can play flamenco Spanish guitar and sometimes when she is practisng the piano she plays some jazz. I'm not sure what she can't do !
Re the Doll$Boxx video Tomo-zo is the guitarist who hit the vocalists harmony note for note. She is a very underated guitarist. She plays a PRS. Koga, the bassist, is one of the best female bass players in Japan. Hana the drummer has given up playing drums in the band to play guitar alongside Tomo-zo. Many. many of these japanese female musicians are multi-instrumentalists and have a very solid classical music backfground like Miyako of Lovebites who at one moment can play a Chopin Prelude at a grand piano and them pick up a Dean ML and play brutal heavy metal riffs and solos. Check out Aldious, Mary's B;ood, D_Drive and Asterism if you have not already reacted to them.

Great stuff. Liar is a relatively toned down song, but still hit material, revamped Miyako(pianist) song originally on 8string guitar for her 1st band, prior to joining Lovebites. Haruna's star cymbal has it's own merch (hint: I want a t-shirt). Check "Burden of Time" from the same livestream, still more of a hard rock hit, but where Midori's shreds a bit more, you can see what you might not have heard, that Miyako plays guitar with left hand alone, and doubles the shredding on the piano at the same time... too much talent!
Dragonet is (arguably) my fav DollSBoxx song. About last dragon banished to cry blood from the stars forever, drummer sang in English "He dominated the ancient worlds' wars, His name is Dragonet." Fuki is a power metal & literature (& gaming) nerd, loves writing in traditional/medieval language, etc... And this DVD really spotlights TomoZo on guitar, she's way shy & underrated on most recordings.
As mentioned, screamer Shiren is a founding member w Fuki. As he's forced to play less guitar, he's put in more rough vocal parts. His injury also forced him to quit Yousei Teikoku, fun band, similar, but more Goth, with a theme of commanding the (fairy) empire [still a band, just w/o him]... Luckily, Unlucky Morpheus continues to be on the rise.
Fun fact: Fuki is so popular, Light Bringer, UnluckyMorpheus, DragonGuardian, Doll$Boxx, solo and with her band of ringers as Fuki Commune, requested by other stars (Galneryus's Syu, Young Guitar Magazine, tons of Anime productions) etc, she's actually averaged putting out a recording every 6 weeks for at least a decade... Wish I had a gig...
Fuki is unquestionably the hardest working woman in the Japanese music industry, if not the entire music industry worldwide.

Honestly, anything by Lovebites. They cover a huge range of styles from thrash to speed to straight-up rock and power ballads, and they do it all at an elite level. Their back line are insanely good, and the twin shredders, Miyako and Midori, are unlike anything I've ever seen. As one guitarist put it, take Kirk Hammett and clone him, and you have Lovebites.
I would say that's doing Lovebites a disservice!

He has a medical condition on his arm and often rests his wrist while Jill (violin) or Jinya (2nd lead g) does a lot of his lead part now days. You don't see him scream because Shiren is playing the guitar. (they are a super band, everyone is a stellar musicians) *** Gacharic Spin (Doll$Boxx) - F Chopper Koga (bass) is one of the best female bassist in Japan, certainly top five with MISA from Band Maid. She is the band founder with Hana (drummer) who is a multi instrumentalist (this woman is a genius)- their new lineup has Hana being in front playing the rhy guitar and sharing vocals with Angelina, a new member.
*** Lovebites - another female super band with stellar musicians. Miyako (guitar in black pants) is a savant, composes 60% of their songs (others taking up the rest), 26 years of classical piano training and a BA in Music Education on Piano from a Uni. She can play bass and drums as well. (Kanami from Band Maid is another genius). Seems like many Japanese bands have at least one genius in them. Super famous X-japan has Yoshiki (another genius).

The two hardest things to find in the Japanese music industry is a band without a genius in it & a band with someone who hasn't worked with Fuki before.

Lovebites: u choose a little more casual song, they have more heavier and thrasy songs, maybe When Destinies Align, Holy War, Thunder Vengeance, Shadowmaker etc
Dollbox: maybe u can try karakuri town, banger from them MV or the fuki fes live version of the song
Fuki: Go slow with Mirai from Fuki Commune or banger with Fuki raging at the storms again with Fuki Commune - Sacred bones riot
Unlucky Morpheus: Tower of blood, Get revenge on the tyrant(this one get me in japanese rabbit hole) or Dignity of Spirit live version
They've done When Destinies Align & Holy War, as well as Hammer Of Wrath (and they were definitely told to avoid Bloodstock after that). The good live video for Get Revenge On The Tyrant got taken down, likely due to someone's channel getting struck down from other songs they posted, because Unlucky Morpheus is independent & isn't copyright strike crazy like some Japanese record companies (looking at you Amuse & Warner...)
This is far from "casual". You can hear the anger in the lyrics perfectly reflected in the crying of the guitar harmonies. It's one of my favourites.

It took a few tries, but it looks like you guys are seriously diving in! J-rock triple-header, hard to beat that. And the women are leading the way. You have to wonder, after Joan Jett, Chrissie Hynde, Nancy Wilson and a few others, why American women never picked up the torch. They would be so much appreciated!

Unlucky Morpheus is good!
Doll$Boxx, Base player F Chopper Koga (female) but tight as a drum with the other musicians. Oreo Reona on Keys, Tomo-Zo on Guitar, and Hana on Drums (also plays keys, guitar and aiphone (electronic sax?), and probably more) she is amazingly versatile... Major Talent. I'm not sure of their current configuration, but Fuki moved on and Ami (Ah Me) took lead vocals, the last i saw.
Haruna has had stars on he drum kit since she was with the band Destrose with Bassist Miho (many others got their start in Destrose). The Lovebites vid was from their recent online live show. The guy OBS ripped it and put it up. Might not be up for long.
It's been up for a good month now. If anything, it's free advertising because a lot of people didn't know about the live show until that video was put up, & many people pre-ordered the DVD/Blu-ray because of it, especially since the links to Lovebites' shop was in the description.
@@TheNightOwl11683 Of course its free advertisement. There was another channel think its was something like Okku .. Well he had concert vids of their FOAK concert up for a few weeks. They were eventually taken down too. Like go and upload some Babymetal or Bandmaid.. I am sure they won't be up for long. When these bands have concerts I put up my own comment advertisement with date time and link on their channel vids or on reactor channels. Telling to Like , Repost, and Pin so others can see. Most reaction channels really don't care. They just OHH and AHH or roll around on the floor for the Subscribe and Likes anyway.

@@radioraffa Looks as if it was marked private. Plenty of people got to watch it & react to it, & all of the reaction videos are still up. Plus with the DVD coming out on Christmas, letting it stay up for a month & a half was good advertising without spending a dime, plus the Burden Of Time video is still up for now. I wouldn't be surprised if they put it up on their official channel some time after Christmas or New Years Day.

Shiren, screamer in the Unlucky Morpheus video, was a great guitarist and a member of KAMI-BAND in early BABYMETAL.
I am sure you have already heard that Miho (Bassist) has left the group, and they are actively searching for her replacement.
Their music is more varied so they don't have him screaming every song. Their most recent album called "Unfinished" (yes that's what it's called) has him doing it in a lot of the songs though. I think only Carry on singing to the sky doesn't have him screaming in it in some way.
