On the production side: we are now into the rushed episodes. Behind the scenes the show had been canceled but we still need to finish the story. So the rest of the season feels a bit jumpy and disconnected like things a missing. It’s just cutting anything that didn’t need to be answered right away
I wouldn’t really say it was “cancelled” per se; It was just cut short because of a certain episode (we all know what it is) that Cartoon Network didn’t like Rebecca adding but were allowed to anyways after a frustrating battle but with the catch that the series has to be wrapped up sooner than what was originally planned.

They also said they drew all the gems that make up fluorite. U can kinda tell looking at her gem stones what gems she is
The diamond hand attack corrupted every single gem on earth. Except for rose, Pearl, garnet, lapis (cuz she was in the mirror), and bismuth since she was bubbled by rose at the time.
I literally just realised- It took all 4 Diamond powers to restore the corruption. The diamonds were actually trying to annihilate the entire planet. If it was all 4 of them doing the attack, then it actually would have destroyed everything. Or maybe at least every gem.
Padparadscha's future vision might be too close to be considered future, but I feel like she still adds an important input to her vision that might or not be useful. She knew Connie's name the first time they met, and she knew Lars was pressing the wrong button. So that shows that even with her flaws she can put her own grain of sand to the pile! ❤
That's the thing, in a story with so many unknowns and secrets about the past, her ability could be INCREDIBLY useful if used right! Even just "Padparadscha, where did I leave my keys?"
I read somewhere that if a Sapphire's Future Vision makes you aware of a mistake so you don't make it on the first place, then a Padparadscha's Vision makes you aware of a mistake so you don't *repeat* it

The art style during Garnet's story is directly pulled from Revolutionary Girl Utena, where the blacked-out silhouettes are consistently used in stories or flashbacks to show "this is all a fairy tale". It was a wonderful clue for the saavy watcher. I really, really highly recommend Revolutionary Girl Utena as a reaction show in the future - it's an extremely feminist show that strongly challenges gender roles and really deals with some deep and intense topics - while also sometimes being very silly. And it's always beautiful to look at, with banging music. Utena had a lot of influence on SU.
Nice reaction. And yeah, that feeling of almost like dread at the end of the show coming up is relatable for a lot of SU fans. It's such a special show and so it's definitely sad to think about it ending. But as Indi kinda touched on, SU throughout its run always felt like it was on the verge of being cancelled by CN. I'm grateful that we got what we did and I personally think they did a great job with it. Yes, one silver lining about you finishing the show is that you'll finally be able to look up stuff about it online and watch those saved videos. This show is so deep with its continuity and foreshadowing that there's a lot to learn about if you want to. And there's a lot of really great fanart out there for the show too. Random note but in "The Big Show", when Greg is playing the song over the phone for Sunshine Justice to hear, that's a reference to the movie "Back to the Future", which I highly recommend if you haven't seen it yet. Also, hearing you sing a bit of "Time Adventure" reminded me that that's one of my favorite songs by Rebecca Sugar ever. I love the video of her performing it at the AT panel at SDCC 2018 and John Dimaggio just starts crying and then gives her some really heartwarming praise afterwards. Rebecca is so ridiculously talented.
So what Stevonnie was looking at at the end of the last episode was the glass that was still shattered from when Pink Diamond punched it in the dream. Presumably just pondering the significance of the dream and leaving the audience to ponder as well.
U guys should get the steven universe art and origins book. It shows a lot of behind the scenes concept sketches from the crewniverse(the ppl that worked on the show) we even get to see cut content. I still haven't bought it but I've seen stuff from it

Yeah, I don't think Sadie's mom is actually trying to take things, her intent is to help, but her help involves absolutely taking over and steamrollering anything Sadie herself wants. So Greg's right, it's good Sadie's mom is interested and wants to help, but Sadie's right about her mom taking OVER, if not exactly right in phrasing.

I think Padparadscha has something like "truth vision" instead of future vision. Instead of seeing what could be, she sees what is.
