Nice work Izzy, I did similar with mine. On the U values, lower the better so if your figures are correct the Rockwool actually performs better👍🏼 keep up the good work
Izzy you are the perfect bricklayer - clean tidy and great at what you do, perfect salesman promoting certain tools, perfect building control officer with your U Values explanation! Now you’re the perfect husband too as I’m sure this is your house isn’t it with your wife helping at times?! See Izzy your just perfecto 😂 handsome devil! Well done another nice job completed looks great! ❤
@user-DANWALKER1066 was going to say the same about the house and a back shot of the young lady ?? Thought it did not feel right but I would have only been clutching at straws. Hope they will both be very happy in the property
@@IzzytheBricky I take my hat off to people that work hard like you! I’m a grafter myself! Just moved and got my hands full on a new property. Look forward to the new videos! I’ve got one to watch still I think of yours! Cheers for your advice and knowledge being passed on it’s all genuine and correct! 👍
I tend to forget that brickies work indoors too. That was an amazing project and transformation of the chimney and entire room. Quality work as always. Good use of the leaf blower as human duster 🤣👍🏻
Great transformation Izzy, adds a lot of character back. If you want to go next level with lime mortar then look into slaked lime and lime putty for the real deal or if you get into working on stone cottages, churches etc in future jobs.
@@sidremey building work can be so complex and remembering to do every mortal thing when you have a Mrs wanting the job done quickly doesn’t always go as one would ideally plan I guess! Has to keep his Mrs happy!
Couple of things: A vapor barrier on top of the insulation would help with condensation. (PS insulation looked like fiberglass, not rockwool.) Then flooring looks like subflooring. Either way nails should not be face nailed but rather angled into the tongue and hidden. Anyways, looks great.
To get a brickie would normally take a few weeks as they are normally booked up. How are you able to get working after 25 minutes of owner getting keys?
Great work Izzy - you certainly know how to graft! And a bit of a departure from your normal vids which is interesting.
@mattcartwright8272 thanks so much mate really appreciate it! New video which is back on brand tomorrow dude💪
