  • In an ecstatic 4x400 Final, USC displayed their dominance by setting a Collegiate Record, Facility Record, NCAA Meet Record, and World Best of 3:00.77. Texas A&M, having only American runners on their 4x400, sets the Indoor World Record, 3:01.39.

      @@adams2014 That implies they were not tested for doping after the meet which means it will not be official. Also it's dishonest to call the runners college bros, they probably have been given scholarships based on their track performances and that's why they're running for said college.

      It's because Rai Benjamin, while he was still in college, was representing Antigua & Barbuda, not the US. All four athletes have to represent the same country for it to be a world record.

      @@joykeel3332 I meant, it’s because of the NCAA’s (technical lack thereof) of an Anti-Doping procedure that would satisfy World Athletics’ ratification requirements at the time
      Check their reasoning for not ratifying the 400m record, or any news regarding his feat(Inside the Games calls it a “technicality”, T&F News has it down as lack of anti-doping procedure)
