    2:37 But I thought that the methyl group only added to cytosine if it was at a cpg site, right? The one in the middle is not at a cpg site. Sorry for being critical and I’m sure you’re right, I’m just here to learn. I’m definitely not at your level of education.Haha I haven’t even got my gcse results yet!😅 Brilliant video by the way and thank you so much for mentioning parthenogenesis!!! It was actually this phenomenon that got me interested in all this epigenetics stuff!

    Why did you say they were 'researchers in China'? The article says that research was carried out by a Japanese team. That aside a helpful & well - presented video. Thanks.

    But doesnt the chromosomes undergo recombination thus resulting in mixing of the genes from the both parent? How is it the battle of the sexes then?
